About this apartment rental
From the moment you walk in the door, you will fall in love with the breathtaking views of this beautifully decorated condo, named 'Sundance'. This is our family's personal vacation home, so we have furnished and decorated it with all new upscale furnishings and high end electronics so it's not your typical 'rental' condo. No need to keep track of a key, it has an electronic lock customized to the last four digits of your cell phone. It is a second floor end unit closest to the beach of a three story horseshoe shaped complex called Ormond Breakers located at 2100 Ocean Shore Blvd, in Ormond By the Sea, with beautiful landscaping and a well kept pool in the courtyard, which you can see from your balcony. It is an end unit closest to the beach so you have double the windows and gorgeous views of the ocean. The beach is private for residents and guests only of the Breakers so it is never crowded, always quite and peaceful and it is a 'no-drive beach', unlike Daytona beach. If you would like to have more friends or family come along on your vacation, we own a second condo two doors away, #203, that was just recently renovated with new floors, paint and bathrooms. The VRBO number is 1180433 and let me know you would like both condos.
KITCHEN - is beautiful with granite countertops and fully stocked with everything you could need. It has a refrigerator with freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, crock pot and electric grill for cooking. It also has dishes, glasses, silverware, kids plates and cups, pots and pans, cookware and utensils. There is a high top table that sits 8 and a bar with additional stools. And of course there is a box of menus for nearby restaurants for those who chose not to cook on their vacation.
LIVING ROOM - features 12 feet of windows directly facing the beautiful Atlantic Ocean with a comfy large sectional couch and two swivel chairs directly in front of the window for whale watching. There is a 75 inch Smart LED TV, with DVD player, digital cable and a lot of steaming capabilities like Netflix, Amazon Hulu and much more. There is a balcony with 4 chairs and a table that are bar height to see over the balcony and sit, relax, enjoy your coffee while watching the dolphins swim by.
MASTER BEDROOM - is like a spa retreat with a king size bed, chest of drawers and desk with gorgeous views of the ocean out the large window to wake up to. It has a 50' smart TV with Digital cable and lot of steaming capabilities like Netflix, Amazon Hulu and much more. There is a full bathroom with granite countertops and a new white vanity with enclosed glass and tile shower.
2nd/KIDS BEDROOM - this room is brightly decorated and has a single bed (with a trundle underneath), a bunk bed with single on top (80 lbs. max) and a full size bed on the bottom. It also has a TV with digital cable and streaming capabilities, books, games and puzzles to keep everyone happy and entertained. The bathroom also has granite and a vanity, medicine cabinet and bathtub with a shower. There is a linen closet in the hallway fully stocked with all the bath and beach towels for you.
POOL/GARAGE/BEACH ITEMS - the one car garage is directly across from your front door and has a coded keypad for you to gain access. It will fit a regular sized vehicle. For larger vehicles there is additional parking on both sides and in the rear of the condos. The garage contains all you might need for a fun day at the beach, like chairs, umbrellas, buckets and shovels, toys and boogie boards. The condominium has a beautiful pool in the courtyard and plenty of tables and chairs to relax and read a book on.
NEARBY - Daytona beach is just minute, Orlando and Disney World are only an hour and the beach is seconds away. There are a lot of things to do in nearby like shopping, movies, bowling, go-karts, indoor amusement park with laser tag, rock climbing and arcade games, and my kids favorite, Daytona Lagoon, a water park with a wave pool, slides and much more. Marineland is also only 20 minutes away where you can swim with dolphins!

We got there and left after finding another condo. The condo itself was very nice, the complex was not. The pool was small the beach access closest to us was closed and we weren't notified until right before check-in. Big heads up...the road you have to cross is AIA, VERY busy and cars are going fast.

Beautiful condo with even more beautiful views. The condo is decorated very comfortable and beds slept well. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night. Beach and pool were rarely busy.

We have rented many nice places in Ormond, but this Apartment has the most wonderful views! We stayed for 2 1/2 months and we enjoyed seeing Whales and the Ocean views everywhere!! The owner Kari Palmer is the hest! You will love your stay here. Tons of memories, ckean and easy to settle in I will miss this home away from home! Thanks so much!

Excellent location
Had a wonderful week staying at this property. Location and views out the windows were breathtaking! Private beach right out the door (across the street) was a huge plus! Close to so many activities in the area.
The only issue I had was the cleanliness of the floors, esp under the dining table and some of the cooking untensils in the kitchen. After mopping the floors 3 times, our feet stopped getting dirty. Other than that, I would love to return here for another vacation!!

Great location across from the ocean. We were able to see the sunrise through the picture window. It’s a 2nd floor unit, but there is an elevator available. The garage kept our vehicle cool. The owners provided everything to make our stay comfortable. I traveled with my mom who is 82 years old and we had a wonderful time. My mom use to live nearby in Ormond Beach. Thank you for opening your beach house up to us!

Just LOVED it!
The first impression, besides the beautiful view, was how fresh and clean the condo was! We met the housekeeper on our way out, and she was so very friendly and did a super job! The condo was well-furnished with all the comforts of home. The beds were very comfortable! We really enjoyed the well-furnished kitchen as well as the fantastic TV area. Our communication with the owner was top-notch! We will definitely recommend it to others! Thank you so much!!!

Beautiful condo!
The condo was beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. The living room has a stunning view of the ocean. The kitchen comes stocked with everything you could possibly need and the bedrooms are very comfortable. The beach is right across the road and only takes about two minutes to reach (with a 3 and 5 year old). We would definitely stay here again!

Family Getaway
This property is great for families. I like to stay in this area because the beach is private and less crowded. It’s also a short drive to the action and lots of activities. This condo has a beautiful view of the ocean and the space is very open and roomy for our family of four. I also thought the furniture was extremely comfortable in the living room and master bedroom. The kids loved the bunk beds and having there own TV in there room. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks again!

This property is like you’re walking in to your own vacation home! I love how well stocked it was. Two couples in our unit and we had friends in another unit. This unit was so well furnished as listed in post that the 9 of us were able to eat our New Year’s Eve dinner together and comfortably! Thank you Kari! We will be back.

Excellent location, great price, condo was beautiful, bedrooms were ok though.
Overall, we were quite happy with our stay and being able to see the sunrise over the ocean straight from the windows and balcony was amazing. Ocean was literally across the street and pool needed some work but I didn't mind skimming it.
The living room and kitchen were wide open and welcoming, we felt right at home pretty quickly. We loved the large kitchen table and TV for playing games and movies.
Only downfall we had when we arrived, was a couple bugs in the top bunk bed but we had our boys sleep in the bottom only, so not a big issue. Some of the lights were out and we were told it was a closed garage area but wasn't there, we should've been informed before arriving. I didn't want to get charged if owners items were stolen. But overall, we would totally come back and bring a few extra items, like a pizza pan and towels! :)

The condo had great views from everywhere. I especially liked getting up in the morning and sitting by the living room window with my cup of tea and looking at the ocean. We would definitely go back. Kari and Doug were very responsive to a couple small issues we had. The grounds were impeccably kept. The garage could use some work. But it was so nice having a dedicated parking place so close to the condo door. The unit had everything you could ever need. It was the best stocked kitchen we have ever rented. I wish there were less personal items there: clothes, food and bathroom items. Overall a wonderful place and wonderful owners.
