We have been coming to the Baby Barn for years. It is a luxurious retreat in so many ways and provides you with the perfect cozy space to disconnect and relax. The living room is cozy and the kitchen, well equipped. The bedrooms and loft are equally cozy with lots of extra pillows and blankets, should you need them. You truly feel like you've been transported to another place. It's incredibly special and we can't wait to go back.

Upon arriving at the house, the outside was nothing like the picture that we questioned if we were actually at the correct house. Upon entering and looking around the whole house it was one of the most filthy we have ever stayed at through VRBO. We always look at all the reviews prior to booking, and we’re very disappointed that the majority of the reviews did not indicate that the house was not clean. In some areas of the house it is so dark that you wouldn’t even know if it was clean or not.
The lower level was very cold, while the main floor would be very hot. They do provide a movable radiator in the master bedroom, which does work very well although they should add one to the second bedroom in the lower level. They should also replace the pots and pans in the kitchen as everything does stick to them. The Wi-Fi goes in and out and is not strong either.
On a positive note, the fireplace was amazing and the beds were pretty comfortable. If you are stickler for cleanliness, we would not recommend staying here.

We had the most wonderful stay at Baby Barn. It was everything we’d hoped for our big birthday celebrations, from the architecture, the stunning views and cosy ambience. All of it, truly exceptional! It was comfortable, warm, and we also really appreciated the provision of firewood making life much easier not having to lug any from home. We will definitely be back!

This is a quintessential Vermont property! Restored barn with lovely fireplaces, comfortable beds, an INCREDIBLE master shower, and enough space for a family! We had the most incredible time in front of the family room fireplace each morning and evening. Cooked our Thanksgiving feast and everything was available that we needed, even a potato peeler : ) So many books, magazines, puzzles, etc, we didn't even need to bring our own. Londonderry market and liquor store just a 5 mi drive away, 20 mins to Manchester and the shops/outlets.
We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Peter for the lovely accommodations, it was a true GEM!

The Baby Barn was a wonderful stay for me and my family. It was an extraordinarily unique home with no shortage of attention to detail, all with an idyllic backdrop of the majestic Vermont mountain side. The fireplace was warming and welcoming, and the kitchen was a cozy place to create a meal to remember in.

The Little Barn was unique and truly gave us the Vermont Vibe. We had never been to Vermont and were there for a family wedding. Our accommodations were perfect for what we required. The distance to the venue and everything we wanted to be near was just right !! We were very relaxed and comfortable in the living room and sitting on the back porch admiring the peace and quiet and the beauty !! Thank you !

The property is in a beautiful setting. The house has old dusty taxidermy in it. In general a dusty home which is tough on allergies. We did however enjoy our stay and it was so close to a wedding that we attended at Magic Mountain.

There are so many wonderful things about this property. From the moment you arrive, you realize that every aspect was thoughtfully, purposefully, and intentionally designed. The result is a piece of paradise in South Londonderry, Vermont. Truly, a home away from home.

Just want to say that if you ever find yourself in a natural disaster, try and find people as amazing as the owner and caretaker of the Baby Barn. They could not have been kinder or more helpful when we found ourselves stranded by the floods in Vt this week. The accommodations were charming, the view spectacular, and the esprit de corp of the locals was exceptional.

Exactly what we wanted when seeking to disconnect for a week. So much open space around the property to relax and admire. Loved the house itself too!

We had a great time staying at the Baby Barn. It was perfect for our group - 5 adults and 3 young kids. The decor really sets the appropriate VT vibe, and the views are absolutely stunning. It was easy to find and felt very private. I loved being able to open the doors in the bedrooms and smell the morning mountain air while getting ready for my day.

We have stayed here with friends on a number of trips now and it’s always great! Perfect for a small group of friends and family!

The home, with its picturesque views, peaceful surroundings, and warm rustic charm does not disappoint! We walked into the home and were immediately excited for our stay. The floor to ceiling stone fireplace, surrounded by the wall of windows, created a perfect backdrop to our Christmas celebration.
We unfortunately had our time cut short, due to a storm that affected most of the country, and left many in the area without power. The host, Peter, his caretakers, and neighbors, could not have been more helpful, communicative, and down right neighborly.
While we weren’t able to enjoy this beautiful home the entire trip, we have some great memories and a really fun story.
Don’t hesitate to book this home to make your own Vermont memories!

We loved our stay at the Baby Barn and highly recommended it. My wife and I like to find unique rentals around New England, and this one is amazing. The great room with floor to ceiling windows is the show stopper. We loved making breakfast and dinner in the kitchen. The master suite downstairs was comfortable with beautiful views. Overall the property is so special and peaceful. We look forward to coming back!

This is by far one of the best rentals I have ever stayed-in. There were three Architects among us who loved the property and the kids had a great time too. Will definitely be coming back and daydreaming about someday owning a similar home!

Peter's house is very cute and rustic. A great weekend getaway in Vermont and wonderful for fall foliage with the rolling hills in front of the house. Plenty of space for our group of 7 and 4 dogs. Highly recommend.

Our family of four had a very nice stay, my children (3 & 7) loved the outdoors and views of the mountains. The layout of the house is great, the kids went to sleep and my husband and I could stay up and enjoy some quiet time without disrupting them. The location is great, we did some exploring and spent a day in Manchester. Such a beautiful area! The kids are already asking to go back.

Friends decided a last minute trip to Vt and it did not disappoint. The house was on point. Clean, spacious, picturesque - a perfect house for a perfect summer trip. Some things in the kitchen needs a little update especially the fridge but otherwise gets the job done. It is a retreat house so if you are expecting a high-speed internet then this is not for you. Close to skiing, hiking and the town is a must visit. Definitely staying here in the winters.

Absolutely delightful barn in the Vermont woods. The property was charming and kept at a very high standard. All the amenities were high quality and the caretaker was extremely responsive when we had a question. Looking forward to our next stay here already.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Baby Barn. It is centrally located but on a secluded street overlooking a valley. The giant family room fireplace makes the house.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at the Baby Barn. It was so stunning architecturally, clean, had incredible views, and a very comfortable layout with 3 full bathrooms. We loved the location close to so many hikes and small farms and towns. We hope to visit again!

Very cozy and comfortable barn in a great location..quick trips into both Londonderry and south Londonderry..was very hot and humid which is out of anyone's control but would be nice to have at least one bedroom with a window unit air conditioning and a dehumidifier in the lower level would take the moisture out as it was 80 degrees inside the barn for majority of time..just a suggestion..great place to hang out and enjoy the scenery

At the end of a dirt road with only one other property sits the Baby Barn. Spectacular views with an Architectural Digest worthy inside. Space is cozy. Not small but could be a bit crowded for large groups. If you have a dog it’s perfect. You can let the door open and have no worries. About 25 minutes from Manchester. The fire places are spectacular and make for a
Great ambiance. Views of Magic Mountain are hypnotic. Nice spot to decompress.

Great place to be during a rainy weekend! The fireplaces and views were amazing and the home was very comfortable.
The only downside was communication with the owner - we didn’t receive any info regarding check in, and messages through VRBO and phone calls were left unanswered. We went to the home to see if there were instructions there, which there were, but a heads up that all access/instructions would be in the house would have been nice (it was a bit unnerving heading on vacation with the hope that we would be able to access the rental). Also, in the instructions was the phone number of the caretaker, which was not listed anywhere in the VRBO listing. Updating that number will help future renters!

What a magnificent property! I should have taken the description more seriously when it said "architect designed." I highly recommend any who stays here should read through the coffee table book on the architect's design history, of which "Baby Barn" is one. I felt very lucky to have been able to stay here.
The windows were fabulous and offered gorgeous views of the mountain. It felt completely private, but not isolated in a scary way. We used both fireplaces throughout our stay and had plenty of wood (provided). The MBR and MBA were romantic and beautiful. It was the perfect place for reading and retreating amongst beauty inside and out. Even though we had a decent amount of rain, the space felt spacious and cozy and we had no desire to leave it.
We used the kitchen for our dinners and had absolutely everything we needed. This was one of those equipped kitchens that only require you bring the meat. Oils, spices, cast iron pans, and even some condiments were all there. It was a joy to use.
Our contact with the property manager was seamless and gracious. They were generous with check-in and check-out times and were available instantly for any questions.
We will definitely be back!!

We've stay at many people's homes all over the world and nearly all have been wonderful experiences. The Baby Barn has risen to the top of the list. Everything was as promised and more. An enchanting getaway in the middle of a peaceful mountainside. If you are looking to disconnect and unwind and take a step back in time where playing cards, doing a puzzle, reading a book or watching the sun some up in the morning - this is where you'll find it. The kitchen has everything you need. Light the candles at night, sit by the fire, turn off the cell phones and you could be back 200 year ago. This place is special.

We were five adults staying two nights over the Easter weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at cozy Baby Barn. As did our labradors who enjoyed swimming in the little pond! The grounds are well maintained and private and the property is super comfortable with a roaring fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. Hiking in nearby Manchester was fun and stop over at Grafton Cheese on the way home. It was a delightful and memorable stay and I look forward to returning again! Thank you!
