About this cabin rental
Must see! This adorable, renovated 1940s 2-bedroom cabin is located within walking distance of downtown, Grand Lake, and RMNP.
This 1940's cabin is loaded with historic character and located on a peaceful, large lot within Grand Lake village. "Adorable and cozy" are terms used to describe this authentic village cabin. This charming cabin has a queen-size bed and a sink vanity in one bedroom, a separate nice bathroom with shower, washer/dryer, and twin beds and a TV/VCR in the second bedroom, separate living and kitchen areas, bath, and gas fireplace. Microwave and dishwasher available. Grill, sitting area, and firepit located outside. Dog run available at back of property so your furry friends can enjoy the outside weather while you hike in the Park. Use the coffee-maker in the morning, or wander downtown to one of the local lake-side coffee shops. Perhaps just lounge in the outside seating area and watch for wildlife to wander through the area. **(Please note that the mountains are a host to MANY types of wildlife. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, unwanted wildlife such as chipmunks or mice can sometimes find their way into mountain cabins. If you are uncomfortable with this possibility, this vacation choice may not be the best for you.) This cabin's charm, quiet environment, and walking-distance proximity to town, the lake, and the Rocky Mountain National Park trailheads make it an easy choice for a vacation stay.
This cabin is held to a higher safety standard than cabins located outside the village. It is inspected annually by the Grand Lake fire department.

Cute little cabin on the edge of town. It felt very private, nobody next door the weekend we stayed and enough trees behind to block the houses. Area was quiet, peaceful, and convenient to nearby activities.
The cabin itself was very clean and well stocked with dishes, toiletries, linens, etc. Private, partially fenced backyard with a firepit and plenty of seating.
Rebekah was an amazing host; very accommodating with our check in and she also checked in on Saturday to make sure everything was going well.
We would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed out stay in the cabin. The kitchen a decent amount of cooking tools which is always something I hope for. Not too much as far as check out chores. Close to town so a short drive or walk to lake. Close to the entrance of RMNP.

Proximity to town was great. Would have preferred the TV be in the living room.

We really enjoyed the small cabin. It was perfect for us and our pup. We were close enough to walk into town in the morning for coffee and a short drive to get to the RMNP.

This is a small, cute house. That wasn’t the problem - two problems, one small and one huge. The small one - you can’t enter through the front door. You have to go around the back. Second, there is MICE POOP all over the place! And, we saw a MOUSE!! Of course when we saw this, we immediately left the property. We reached out to the host to ask for a full refund, given how unsafe that is, we had to leave early, and had to find an expensive place to stay before we went home. It was a total mess and now I get to be terrified of illness for the next month. There are plenty of other places to stay. Additionally, the host is now claiming there isn’t any mouse poop. Luckily I took photos (and texted the host said photos, so very odd).

This cabin was a good "home base" for us as we explored the area. Quick easy drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake downtown, and more. Things to note that we didn't love: had a pet odor in the entryway and kitchen area, and is NOT toddler friendly (outlets, curtain strings, lots of small loose items, etc). Would be fine for little bit older kids though.

The cabin would be a great getaway for two to four people. It is comfortable and we enjoyed the fireplace. The cabin was decorated with a fun cabin theme. Nice art! Had plenty of towels, etc. Love having the washing machine.
Unfortunately we had to deal with a bad smell coming from under the crawl space of the cabin. Apparently a critter died under there. We were able to get ahold of the owner and she was able to get someone to come while we were out hiking the next morning to take care of the problem. The smell was still pretty strong in the front area of the house. Hopefully it will dissipate soon! This was something that could happen in a cabin setting and it wan’t anyone’s fault. Rebecca offered to by us dinner but we just wanted to let her know so she could take care of it.
We both thought the enclosed yard could use some major clean up after the winter. It would be nice for families during the summer with a little clean up.

Nice little getaway cabin for the family. Features a small kitchen, living room, small dining area, a bedroom with 2 single beds, and another bedroom with a queen size bed. It has a small stacked washer & dryer for your use. Owner even included shampoo, lotion, laundry soap if you forgot it. She has extra stuff for you to pick up pet droppings if you forgot that as well. There’s a nice enclosure for the dog out back. Very nice. We will be back.

This is a nice, clean comfortable cabin with all the amenities you will need to explore the area. The bed is comfortable and there are plenty of supplies on hand if you need them. There is plenty to do in and around Grand Lake and this is a great home base to eat and rest up during your adventure.
The cabin is on a quiet side street and has reliable wi-fi. There is a stackable washer/dryer if you need it.
Would stay here again, enjoyed the cabin.

The cabin and property were great. If I had anything remotely negative to say, I would say that I was surprised by the amount of traffic on the nearby road. I would also say that the space outback is not fully enclosed for pets. It worked out fine, but it would be nice to know that ahead of time.

Lovely little cabin on edge of town.
This cozy cabin has everything one could need. Forgot something? Good chance it's there. It was a great late fall get-away for me and my dog. However, If you are traveling with a dog or young kids know that the backyard isn't fully fenced (small dog run) but it is wonderful.

Pretty quite cabin for a small family
The cabin is located quite close to the north entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park.
We had absolutely no trouble finding the place, despite reaching at dark 9 PM evening.
The cabin inside is very well maintained and the moment you step in, it feels you are in a cabin in the woods. The interiors are magnificent and very well designed. There is plenty of activities to do around. The grand lake is very close to the cabin. The parking outside seems good enough for 2 cars.
I wish there was a bit of maintenance on the backyard garden or on frontyard.
It was a very pleasant stay and we made beautiful memories.
