We loved the location - very walkable to downtown and the water.
We also enjoyed the patio at Daven Haven and the friendly and helpful people who work there.

We enjoyed staying in a cabin in the mountains! Very quiet, friendly staff.

Great location! We enjoyed our stay and being across the street fr the marina and main downtown area was wonderful.

The Cabin smell very bad, didn't feel clean at all, old furniture and uncomfortable beds.
Very old cabin, too dark .
The internet was too slow.
It didn't make sense what you pay with what you get.

We booked a cabin at this location, but it was not owned by Daven Haven. We were unaware of this at the time of booking. When we arrived, the cabin was already occupied. We were able to move locations. The owner called me personally to assist. Although we wernt able to stay there, through no fault of the owners, we would recommend this place.

(Cabin: the Birch) Clean, cute and very uncomfortable. Broken down twin bed - person sleeping on it put a pillow under one side of the mattress to keep from rolling out of bed in the night. Sofa bed is a deep two-cushion sofa that is too lumpy to even sit on comfortably. Queen bed has hard mattress and is against the wall, so it works for one person if you can tolerate a very hard mattress. Entry to bedroom has both a step up (about 5 inches) and a low head clearance (about 5' 5"), great for banging you head in the night unless you are fairly short. Several light bulbs burned out. Faint smell of natural gas in places at times. There is a newish support beam in the center with large support posts at each end. One of those beams is missing the large bolt that would ensure it stays securely in place (the lower one).

Nice property located very close to downtown grand lake. Needs a little TLC and updating on the interior but overall a great stay for the price.

The cabin was very clean and the flowers on the property were beautiful. Close to the lake, walking paths and grocery stores.

no key to allow us to lock door while out. bathroom door knob/latch stuck closed (nearly a disaster), tv didn’t work, stove pilot fumes strong.
But worst was inaccessibility of front desk — no one there for days, our messages not returned till 2 days later, at check in we couldn’t find our cabin and noone there to ask. The managers are nice if you can get ahold of them, but they aren’t paying attention most of the time, might have given up trying to be good hosts.
Will not return.

Lighting after dark in the parking lot could be improved. Inside, there was no light in the closet & we couldn't see, even in the afternoon. We had to use our cell phone flashlights. Recommend adding a battery light that guests could touch to click on. I slept on the sofa sleeper and the mattress was lumpy. I wouldn't sleep on it again.

The location was super. The stay was very nice as well. Very soft towels. We were very comfortable. It had everything we needed. Would come back to this location again.

I was so disappointed. No glasses, the sofa was broken, kitchen cabinets so old.

My wife and I absolutely loved the cabin we rented. It was perfect for a couple celebrating their 5th year anniversary. However it would have been nice if the outlets were 3 prong and not two prong, but a simple trip to a hardware store fixed that. Definitely staying here again!!

Clean, comfortable, well stocked cabin, friendly and helpful staff, extremely dog friendly. Unfortunately due to staffing problems their lovely restaurant and patio wasn't open but other amenities and proximity to main street made up for that.

quiet, individual cabins provide privacy TV system needs operating instructions available in unit, playing a music channel only when we arrived, took a day for someone to come and reprogram to TV stations.

Had an amazing week at the Wildwood Cabins (Big Pine)- part of the Daven Haven properties. Right at the edge of town, everything you need is in walking distance. The cabin is spacious, with a large dining table with two long benches and two love seats in the main room. A fireplace is in the main room as well, but with the fire ban and the warmer temps, we didn’t use. The bathroom has a shower stall (no tub) that is a bit narrow but very functional. Clean and super fluffy towels are provided. The kitchen has an electric stove and microwave with an apt fridge. We did have to unplug the fridge because of a terrible banging noise. The front desk clerk was happy to send maintenance, but since it wasn’t necessary for our stay, and the shortage of staff all over grand lake, we did not have it fixed. I don’t have an updated status on the fridge. The front bedroom has a great pillow top mattress and is comfortable. The double in the back bedroom is the reason for 4 stars. It is so uncomfortable I couldn’t sleep on it. The springs were in my back and the squeaking every time I moved was intolerable. We created additional padding by using the twin mattress from the pullout sofa so I could sleep. Everything else was amazing. The cabin was so cozy, my daughter and I had such a memorable time. Thank you so much for everything! Highly recommend. Special recommendation to the Wake Coffee shop down at the Marina. Their coffee is the best in the city

I reserved a cabin for me and my (2) dogs, will behaved.I get there, and they charged me for having (2) dogs at$140. more for 4 days. I have a certified full service dogthat it didn't matter to them. No one has ever charged me for my service dog. The WIFI was out for two days in the afternoon. Also, had to take towels to desk in the eveningwhen they didn't pick up that afternoon.

The oweners are nice and accommodating. The log cabins are interesting; you certainly do feel like you are camping, or at camp, as opposed to in a luxe hotel. The wifi is really spotty, and tv is basically pointless. Our fridge did not keep our food cold, but we dealt with warm drinks for a week since we could not really cook in our cabin. A couple of the twin beds had very old mattresses that could be replaced, but overall, it was a camp like experience, and you could really enjoy it, or be really miserable, depending on your state of mind. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, but there were a few issues that could use improvement. On another note, if you are planning to swim in Grand Lake, forget it. We learned the hard way that it is way too cold, even in the summer, due to snow melt, for any functional swimming or floating. This is all about your expectations. If your mind is right, you will find ways to enjoy it.

Great location with great hospitable owners! My husband and I had a wonderful time in one of their cute little cabins with our two dogs! Loved that there were pet friendly options. We saved a lot of money by cooking every night in the full kitchen they provide. Great experience for everyone and will definitely be going back again!!

The cabin was cute and quaint but the thermostat wasn’t working well. My cabin was freezing and on the last night of my stay I finally asked if they had a space heater which helped a lot. I think these are designed to be summer cabins not winter, but overall was an ok stay.

The resort is very nice. Cabins are large and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The weekend was for hiking and boating the Grand lake area and we did both even though the CO fires caused smoky conditions in the area. This resort is in a great location in Grand Lake. You can walk or bike to most locations in town from this Resort.
