Dear guests
This family traditional tvilla, in the noble area at the edge of Funchal, it has all you may need for a confortable stay with your family or your close ones.
You may enjoy an area of 300 m2 including garden and BBQ, well maintained.
Our house description and rules define what we offer and what we expect from our guests. Please take the time to read it and to approve the rules to sign

ONLY FOR ADULTS, LGTB friendly. NO PETS (severe allergies).

Traditional spacious family villa, full equipped Spot clean.
Fast WIFI 200 Mb/s. City garden & garage (one medium car). BBQ. piano. billiard. Mini-foot. Big flat cabled TV. No netflix. No A/C, fans and hits available if needed (rare)

Urban location (in front of a trpical parc, but also with traffic from a link to the road system)
Walkable to sea and city (1 km). Facilities and transports nearby;
Panoramic view over Magnolia parc (with bar/restaurant, cultural events, tennis courts, etc .), Funchal hills and you can view the sea behind the trees at the right.

Extra services around: Balneal complex LIDO (1 km), Luxury balneal service at Pestana Carlton Hotel, Tourism offer, restaurants, supermarkets, all facilities are around less than 10 min.

Please declare anomalies or accident in 24h. Do not try to fix it yourself.

RATES & CONDITIONS
Self catering. House is provided with starters (for bathroom & kitchen)

You have the use of the unit in solo.
1) Basic rate covers 3 bedrooms available, max. 6 persons at any time.

2) A discount of 30€/day is offered for only 2 bedrooms use (maximum 4 p); the third room stays closed.

Checkin: 09h-21h,
House rules agreement to sign and all travel IDs to present to entry and get the keys + usefull inforormation
Checkout: presential, until 11h (am).
the keys are to give back personally in loco before leaving. Please inform in advance the time staff may meet you.

3) LIMITS:
° Smoking only outside
° No parties/events, only residential use
° BBQ only at the build-up area. Coal not provided (available in supermarkets)

4) CLEANING
Weekly cleaning is mandatory over a week (cf. local regulation ref. at last
photo). Weekly cleaning is scheduled and the (trustfull) staff has the keys to entry (date/hour is not flexible). Do not manipulate the linen stocks, it is changed once per week; avoid using white towels outside.

Please make this points safe:
- Keep your belongings (textiles, papers, shoes) out of the surfaces to clean.
- Free the room being cleaned
- Throw the garbage in the containers outside
- Do not let used dishes out of the dishwasher

5) PEOPLE & GOODS SECURITY:
- The house has all the security equipment required by law.
- All doors and windows must stay closed during absence, at your
responsibility.

- ACCIDENTS/injuries
The hosts are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illness,
damages that occurs during the stay, that are not due to defect equipment’s at
the host responsibility.

- DAMAGES due to guests:
Please report immediately by text any damages/anomalies. Guests are not
responsible for normal wear and tear. Do not fix the goods yourself

We stayed at this property for a couple of weesk and overall, we were very pleased with out stay. The apartment was clean and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was very helpful and responsive to any requests. The location was also perfect, situated in a semi-quiet area but still close to restaurants and shops. We had a great time and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable accommodation in this area.

We found the villa to be very comfortable and well equipped and thoroughly enjoyed our extended stay here. Our hosts were excellent with good communications and helpful and prompt to answer any questions we had. Adriano is an excellent driver for the transfers from and to the airport. On arrival Alfredo gave an excellent tour of the accommodation and the next day after our clearance from our Covid test he gave us a sightseeing tour of the area and Funchal and passed on lots of practical information. Carla the housekeeper attended once a week and looked after us extremely well. She has a lovely sense of humour. After our extended stay due to cancelled flights we felt like family members. We had booked for 3 months and ended up staying for nearly 8 months and we loved every minute of it. The villa is situated in a good location,close to many good restaurants and in walking distance of the town and the lido. The accommodation is spacious with a lovely large game’s room downstairs. The outside space is good with plenty of seating areas and a fabulous barbecue to enjoy the good weather. Thank you for letting us share your lovely home.

Spacious, well-appointed, clean and in an ideal location for staying in Funchal. Our group was made up of two couples; one of which went mountain walking and one of which took a scuba diving course. The mountain walkers were able to use the bus service to go to the mountains, and the diving school was ten minutes' walk away. We really couldn't have found a better place to stay for this trip.

The house is very well kept. The pictures shown are completely according to how it is. The house has everything, the kitchen is extremely well equipped, everything is working. We were extremely well taken care of on arrival with Adriano as the taxi driver and Alfredo to show us around, both in the house and on a sightseeing in his car and to give us lots of practical information. We were happy to have Carla, the cleaner, to come every saturday. She did very good work. The communication with the owner was excellent from the very beginning and through all the 9 weeks of our stay. Manuel is always responsive, helpful and caring. We were happy to use the garage, which worked fine. We bought monthly cards on the buses. Very useful! The bus system in Funchal is absolutely excellent. We will also recommend the Lido to go swimming, both in the sea and in salt water pools. 20 mins to walk from the house, or one of the buses 5 mins away. Our stay of 9 weeks was like living in paradise! The house worked well, the city is very nice, the buses take you everywhere, the island is lovely with the nature, the flowers, the mountains and the sea. We were also very lucky with the weather. Of 63 days in Dec, Jan, Febr we had 60 days nice, warm and sunny. Everyone should go to Madeira! And we will absolutely reccomend Manuel's house.

A very nice property. We liked the idea of being taken around the town by car so that we could get our bearings on the first night. The property had everything you could wish for. The games room downstairs was a bonus. The only reason we have scored the location down is because of the proximity to the road. That said, it is clear in the property advert. We had a lovely week and thank everybody for looking after us.

We stayed for 8 weeks in this very spacious, typically Madeiran style house with everything you could require. The housekeeper is excellent, and the owners respond immediately to any queries. You can walk to the lovely old town and to many good restaurants. The daytime weather is pleasantly warm and sunny in the winter months, with chilly evenings and nights. There are many climates in the island, it can be damp and cool in the mountainous areas while it is hot and sunny at sea level. We would recommend a stay at Magnolia Villa.

Having stayed here for Xmas/New Year 2015/2016 we returned for a longer stay. 32 days. Everything was just as we remembered. A beautiful family home with lots of great features. A short 10 minute walk to downtown Funchal. Manuel's team of Carla, Alfredo and Adriano were there for our every need. An ideal location for a short or long term stay. We will be back in the future. Madeira is a safe and beautiful island, well worth the trip!
