A lovely home in the mountains
Four Seasons Chalet is a spacious home with a layout ideal for gathering two to three families for a Vermont vacation, any time of year!
Located off Rt 100, connecting Waterbury and Stowe, this home is close to so many attractions in both Vermont towns. Families love that it is just 1.5 miles to the Waterbury Reservoir—with a beach for swimming and access to canoes, kayaks, SUPs, and we can help you arrange fishing! Several great hiking and mountain biking trails are all within fifteen minutes and dining and shopping options are a plenty between the two villages. Stowe Mountain Resort and all that it has to offer is just twenty minutes away. Be sure to visit Ben & Jerry's just minutes down the road following your days of fun, or perhaps to get them started!
All this fun to be had, but you may not want to leave the home itself! Nestled among mature trees with panoramic mountain views, this home is a private escape. A large deck is perfect for outdoor gatherings and just wait until you see what's inside. This five-bedroom home is open and airy, with an ideal layout for two families visiting together—two bedrooms are on the main floor and three others upstairs. The great room features cathedral ceilings, a wood burning fireplace, and a bright open floor plan. Oversized furniture is comfy and ample for the group. The kitchen is large and well equipped for cooking for a crew. A long dining table easily welcomes ten to share meals (and take in the great view of Camel's Hump—one of Vermont's iconic peaks). A game room is downstairs with a ping pong table, XBOX, board games, and movie space with TV.
*Top bunks are not suitable for adults. This home has a steep driveway, 4 Wheel Drive/AWD or Snow Tires required

Easy check-in/out, very clean place. Not expected to do laundry/vacuum/etc just your own dishes.
Would recommend this house.

Property had everything needed for a relaxing break any time of year. For us in October the scenery was fabulous the house well equipped and spacious. can imagine in summer enjoying the decking and outside space with BBQ..

Overall, the property was nice for staying in Vermont, but not quite what we had been hoping for.
The pictures showed a large yard for the kids to play in, but it was completely overgrown with a small trail through to the smaller patch of grass at the bottom of the hill. The kids were disappointed they couldn’t roll down the hill and Play on it more. The mountains were barely visible. If you stand in the loft area you can see them. From the rest of the house you can barely see the tops of the mountains.
A disappointment since that was one of the reasons we picked this house.
The living area also seemed smaller than in the pictures, the dining table is very close to the couch.
The house was outdated as stated in other reviews. Nothing terrible, but don’t expect to feel pampered here. Slip covers on sofas, worn furniture, squeaky beds, doors that won’t close or won’t stay open, musty basement/game room, broken Game table, etc.
We felt the only thing done is cleaning in between renters, but little upkeep or improvements. Also light bulbs and remote control batteries were missing.
It was in decent condition. Just lacking the feeling of being cared for.

My friends and I rented this house as a nature getaway for a long weekend. We were excited about the size and location of the house from the photos, especially the main room for hanging out and the board games/ping-pong room. When we arrived to check in, we were instructed to pick up our key from the management office from an un-manned lockbox. When we got there, the lockbox actually contained every single key that was being picked up that day, plus photos of the houses and addresses. SO I could have grabbed any key I wanted! Seems a bit unsecure/unsafe to me, but maybe it's because I'm a New Yorker? Anyways, we grabbed our own key and proceeded to the house. The drive wasn't bad, the house's location was pretty awesome (not too far from town, but far enough to feel remote), and the view was lovely. The house itself was definitely big and equipped with everything we needed to cook, chill, stay cool. However, there are many, many issues with the house. The furniture does not look like it does in the photos -- it's all a bit gross and is covered up. The game room had no ping pong paddles or balls. The shelf containing the board games was in shambles, and none of the board games actually contained enough parts to play any of them. The TVs came with VCRs and DVD players that do not work at all. The bathrooms have next to no water pressure in them, so no one was able to successfully shower the entire weekend. The wifi wasn't very clear, and when we did connect was extremely slow/finnicky (we couldn't watch anything on streaming services on the TVs). The deck was lovely, but the railing on it is falling apart and threatened to break off if anyone leaned on it. There were many other small things as well...but all-in-all, despite many things not being great in the house, it felt safe and stayed cool through the heat wave, and we had fun in it. One other thing I would warn future renters about is that the price Vrbo quotes you is lower than what you'll actually pay the property. There is a hidden security/insurance charge of $50 that gets tacked onto your bill. This was a surprise for me, and it is NOT clear at all when you go to book. I investigated this with both the property and Vrbo, and apparently this is allowed, which is really shocking to me. I really don't like how this fee is not clearly disclosed upfront. Overall, we enjoyed the house, but due to its faulty state of being, I'm not sure it was worth the price.

Home away from home
The host were amazing and accommodating. They helped and were very attentive to the few concerns. The ping pong table was a hit with my children. Furniture is a little dated. There was plenty of space for the 9 of us. Good experience.

Great space with plenty of Room for our family reunion of 10
Lovely spot, good supplies and kitchen items to cook and serve a large family. The common living room has a beautiful view, the only draw back was the noisy air conditioning!

Decent rental
While at first we were a bit disappointed that the house was not quite as nice as the pictures suggested, we ended up finding it was a comfortable house that worked well for us overall. The location was decent - close to Stowe, Stowe Mountain and the Von Trapp Family Lodge - and we loved the fireplace. The internet, however, needs to be upgraded! It worked OK with one or two people using it, but became very unreliable when multiple logged on. Overall, I would say this place deserves a 3.5 to 4 out of 5 rating. This would be boosted to a solid 4 if the internet were upgraded.

Had fun but washing dishes by hand is not for us
Beautiful home in a lovely location but the dishwasher did not work. Wasn't happy with that little twist. Overall, had a good time.

Nice home, beautiful area
We enjoyed our time in this well-outfitted home. We came during COVID and because we are working remotely just wanted to be able to work and get out in the beautiful countryside as well. We were able to pickup great food at The Butchery and Commodities Market and grill outdoors--such a bonus. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen is. The home is in a beautiful, quiet out of the way neighborhood near Waterbury and Stowe, both awesome towns. There was plenty of room in the home to stretch out and for each of us to have work space. All in all it was a good respite.

Cozy and Spacious
This house easily fit our group of 9 and could have fit more. The large dining table was great for group meals and board games. The entertainment area downstairs was a hit, especially the ping pong table. Additionally, this was a great location between both Stowe and Sugarbush for skiing. Everyone loved it here!
