Just wonderful!!!

For a first or last night near Windhoek and the airport, look no further. The apartment is very clean, comfy and quiet - we slept so well and recover from our international flight. The view is just peaceful and beautiful and we already managed to see a lot of animals! But what makes this place so special are the owners Chrisna and Chris - their warm welcome, hospitality and delicious dinner together was the real highlight of our stay!!! They deserve a lot more than a 10 rating!!!

Peaceful and relaxing

Everything was absolutely perfect for our 2 night stay here. Chris and Chrisna were both so friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The room was so spacious and had everything we could possibly want. The home cooked dinner was delicious and plentiful. We would most definitely stay here again.

Exceptional hosts, perefct location in a gated estate with a beautiful view!

Chris and Chrisna were the perfect hosts and so welcoming - they waited for us for dinner even though we arrived at 9pm. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with them with so many laughs and had a fabulous nights sleep. A lovely breakfast was ready for us in the fridge when we woke up - the appartment was extremely private and quiet, with an incredible view. The house is in a gated estate and feels very safe.

Really nice couple who is renting an Apartment. The Apartment is good equipped, especially the kitchen. Nice terrace with a nice View to Nature. With luck you can See Oryx Kudus and giraffes. The couple is very lovely and it is nice to spend time with them. They can tell you a Lot about namibia as they are real locals :)

If you ever meet Chris, Chrisna and their dodgy friend Louis :) you just might find your Namibian family in them! Words cannot express how happy we are to have met them. It’s rare and precious to instantly click with people and feel at home around a laughing and lovingly teasing family. Also, their house is the best we’ve ever seen. They’ve set a bar very high on how we want to live! Wishing them and all their loved ones all the happiness in the world, and sending our love to Molly and Wicked, two adorable doggies!

A wonderful stay with lovely hosts and beutiful scenary

I highly recommend Windhoek Rural Self Catering for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient accommodation option near the Windhoek International Airport. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the surrounding countryside and the stunning views from our private balcony. The accommodations themselves were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The owners, Chris and Chrisna, were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. But perhaps the highlight of our stay was the dinner we had at Windhoek Rural Self Catering. It was, without a doubt, the best meal we had on our entire Namibia tour. The food was absolutely delicious, and the setting was perfect - we enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the mountains while savoring each and every bite.

I wish we could stay longer. This place is out of this world beautiful and has anything you might need or want during your vacation: a gorgeous view, a refreshing drink, a crib for the baby... you name it. Chrisna and Chris are the most hospitable people. Thank you for an amazing last night in Namibia and an incredible meal worthy of a Michelin star :)

What a beautiful place !!! Great views. An estate in a Nature reserve close to the airport (about 15 min drive). Safe. We had a fantastic, yummy dinner with the owners and it was a wonderful evening ! Room was big and very clean and comfortable. View fantastic !!! Kitchen with everything you need and honesty bar available with drinks !

Absolutely everything! The area is stunning - safe and spacious, and all of that right between the airport and Windhoek. We had no idea, what was awaiting us, but this house, the hosts, all surpassed our imagination. We've spent our last night here, loved the coffee and the great talk on the hosts porch. It felt more like home than being so far away from it. I would absolutely come back!

The kindness of the hosts and the ambience of the place are both unforgettable. I could not have imagined a better place for our last night in this beautiful country. It was a perfect ending of our journey. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home, including our 4 years of son as well, who just simply did not want to leave as he had so much fun and good time in this perfectly peaceful environment, surrounded by extremely nice people. The accommodation was very clean, the bed was very confortable for us, the view was amazing and the smell of the bed linen was just so good. In a nutshell, everything was perfect. Thank you for everything!!

Super Hosts & Great Location - a place to be!

After a night in the airplane WDH Rural Self Catering was our first night... and we were astonished. The warm welcome of the hosts was a fantastic introduction to Namibia and our holidays. The appartment was large, beautifully equipped and maintained, super clean with a terrace. The surrounding is also fantastic... and when entering the place we saw already 4 giraffes We had dinner with the hosts and it was like meeting friends. Also for the kids (11 and 13). And the food was super. When coming to Namibia, we will definitely return. Dear Chrisna and Chris, MANY THANKS!!!

I cannot think of anything to improve.

Beautiful place to spend last night in Namibia

Amazing views overlooking the valley. We were lucky enough to have the four giraffes there when we arrived! Great hospitality, both Chris and Chrisna were very friendly and welcoming! They were able to arrange a cot for us at late notice and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Ours was only a quick stopover unfortunately, but I would have loved to stay for longer. Oh, and their dogs are very friendly too!
