Fully fenced in yard; a gate for the stairs on upper deck. Witness fabulous sunrises, Gulf views & Southerly breezes from the expansive deck. Master en-suite offering deck access. Spacious guest bedrooms. 2-min walk distance to the beach, a short drive to Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, attractions and stores nearby makes this location ideal. This is luxury living on the beach! "Winter" Texans and everyone else are welcome to book long-term stays (discounts on 30+ days bookings). You will stay in a spacious 1,700 sq ft 3 -bedroom/2 bath stand alone house located on two lots in a highly sought after Palm Beach. You could enjoy sunsets from the deck or take a short stroll to the private beach. The house is ideal for families and couples gatherings and friends retreats and pets are welcome. King size bed with a walk-in closet in the master bedroom, Queen bed and a sleeper sofa in the 2nd bedroom, and 2 bunk beds (one with full size bottom bunk bed) in the 3rd bedroom. An additional queen size sleeper sofa is available in a living room. Fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer are available for your convenience. Cable and high speed WiFi, 58-inch TV, DVD/CD player (and a collection of DVDs), access to a large deck from both living room and the master bedroom. Plenty of board games and cards and selection of books are provided for your entertainment. A large outdoor shower accommodates the family and pets. Sit on the deck and enjoy a morning coffee or take a very short walk to the water's edge and get in the morning jog on an endless private beach where vehicles are not permitted. Very peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything the visitors may want to see!

This home made for a lovely family trip. Spacious, clean, well stocked kitchen, plenty of games and books. The large outdoor deck and fenced in yard was perfect for our dog! We all loved our stay and look forward to coming back again!

Location was wonderful 3 minute walk to beach. Close to gas stations and restaurants. We stayed right after there was storms and flooding, Katrina was wonderful to work with and answer my questions and keep us updated on potential flooding. Thankfully all the flooding had receded and didn’t impact our trip at all. Quick 25-30 drive to cruise port. House had everything we needed and was clean. Would definitely stay again.

There were a few small hiccups with our stay here, but the location overshadowed those. This house was a short walk to a quiet beach! We enjoyed being able to see the ocean from the deck. We were far enough away from the hustle of downtown, but close enough we could get our essentials.

We enjoyed this house and the close walk to the beach. The deck was my favorite place to have morning coffee and spend the evenings watching the sun go down.

Great location near the beach. Overall, the house has everything you need for your stay. The house is starting to show some wear - a couple of cracked tiles and the tub in the hall bath is rusting from the hard water - but for the size, amenities and location, the house is a great deal and we would definitely recommend and return if we are in the area again!

We came in for a concert at the grand. The house was really nice. Well equipped although we didn't have cause to use much. Easy walk to the beach. Beds could be updated a bit, but would stay here again

We stayed there 4 days. The house was perfect. The fenced in yard was a huge plus for us. A very quick two minute walk to the beach, a great deck and view of the ocean. Highly recommend this home!

We spent the Christmas holiday here with our dog, and we all loved our stay. It was very clean, bright and well stocked. The foosball table was so much fun. Plus, there are tons of movies and games. However, the best part for us was the location. We could walk to the beach, and we could even walk to the State Park.
Our dog loved the fenced yard and the upstairs porch. We also loved the ample kitchen. The bed was comfortable and so was the couch. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again!

This beach house is so close to the beach. It was clean and had all the amenities needed for my husband and I. We stayed for one week. The fenced home was perfect for my fur babies. Also, my kids and grandkids came for one day and it was perfect, we had so much room to relax and play games. The house comes with board games and puzzles and so many books to read. It has a Keurig and a regular coffee pot. This was the best experience we had renting a home through VRBO. Communication with the owner was excellent. We will be back next year.

We had a really nice time on this property, the house was roomy and nice. We really liked the sitting on the deck and having a fenced in yard with our dogs. The owners were easy to contact and great help when needed. The beach is close and the water was very clear this weekend which made it even better. Highly recommend this place.

This home was excellent - exactly as described and pictured! Very clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved the short walk to the beach. This section of the beach is very private and peaceful. There were some good views of the ocean from the deck, and it was great to be able to hear the waves. Our yorkie loved it here too. The host was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely book this again the next time we are in the area!

This was the perfect house for our December weekend beach trip with our two dogs and two kids. The fence was great so that our dogs didn’t have to be on leashes the entire time, and the house was a short walk to the beach. In the summer, it wouldn’t have been hard to carry our beach things down there for a day in the sand and sun. The wifi at the house was also really great and much better than other properties we’ve stayed at before. If we needed to work while we were at the house, I don’t think we would have had any problems at all.

We spent 6 days at this property with our 2 dogs and enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood and the quick walk to the beach. Having a fenced-in space for the dogs was a plus. Since the weather was a bit on the cold and rainy side we spent more time than we usually would in the house. It was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We also enjoyed going to two of our favorite restaurants: Shimp & Stuff Downtown (casual) and Gaidos (high-end). And we did all of our grocery shopping at the Seven Seas which is only 3 miles away. We really love this area of Galveston.

Great beach house and location!!
This beach house is really great. We loved it. The street in general is very quiet during the day and at night. Quick walk to the amazing beach. There were wagons and sand toys for the guests, including some beach chairs and surfing boards. The outdoor shower is amazing. There were rocking chairs, small table and a hammock on the patio and we loved using those. Nights were quiet. No problems at all and we felt safe. Mattresses & pillows could be a bit more comfy but no major problem. The owners & their staff communicate quickly in case you should have an issue. We would definitely stay here again!!

We had a lovely and relaxing time at this comfortable, well-equipped beach house. The fence was very useful since we had our dog with us. It was a spacious house with a nice outdoor area. It's just a short walk to the beach.

Perfect Prom Beach House
Property was clean and had everything we needed for a group of 4 teens and two moms. Great location. Not right in the thick of Galveston, and was only a 20 to 25 minute drive to get downtown. House had plenty of sleeping options in three large bedrooms. House was a quick walk to beach. Had a great deck where you could see and hear the ocean.

Nice staycation
The place was clean and host was very responsive. The only thing is that some of the pictures of the living room are old I’m assuming? When I stayed it was the photo with the two white couches. Also one of the top bunks was broken I think? Because there were zip ties on the wooden slates and when laid on it kind of sunk in? Not too sure but overall everything else was good.

Great Thanksgiving Beach Trip
The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to put together an awesome holiday meal. The proximity to the beach was perfect! We were just far enough away to avoid the windy-ness but close enough to walk. The random basket of blocks kept our 4 year old occupied while we unpacked the car. The place was super clean and easy to use. The only challenges we had were related to some of my older family members who required a bit more back support in the furniture. The couch in particular is super squishy making it great for a nap, but not so easy to get out of sometimes.

This property was perfect for my daughter’s sweet 16! It was clean and plenty of room inside and outside. The walk wasn’t far to the beach. So that was nice. We would do it again!

Vista Road Beach House
Nice, quiet spacious home. 1 block from private beach. VERY dog friendly fenced yard. Nice functional kitchen with all supplies included. The outdoor charcoal grill probably needs replacing either with a newer charcoal grill or better yet a propane grill. We had a hard time keeping the coals hot. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely consider returning.
