And while you're here, make sure to stroll around the winding streets of Rozelle and Balmain, full of cosy pubs, great restaurants and elegant boutiques.
The Space:
This comfy home has been thoughtfully updated with stylish modern furniture that complements its charming historical features. Surprisingly bright and airy, it’s perfect for families and small groups who want a convenient city base while enjoying a quieter retreat. It's all about understated cool: renovated weatherboard workers cottages interspersed with grand Victorian terraces, plenty of parkland and shops.

The house was a perfect size for a family of four and was very cosy. However, only one room has a portable heater. You will have to look out for parking, as street parking is the only option, with no permit given (street parking during weekdays is usually 2hrs between 8am-6pm). The location was perfect as the bus stop was close by, making it easy to get to and from the city centre.

Property was clean, however the couches were very noticeably stained and should have been attended to and not covered up with rugs. Yuck! The garden out back was overgrown and really needed a tidy/mow. There is a longstanding water leak at the rear of the property. Water entered from a bedroom window sill (which is visually rotten) saturated the carpet and then dripped through the floor cavity/ceiling into the kitchen. It took a number of days to air the property out. We find properties with kitchens generally have a bottle of oil for cooking. A hairdryer also ceased working.
Greatly confused by the simultaneous contact made by both the MadeComfy guest portal and Vrbo app. On check in I could not remember where I had seen notification of the key lock box number. I then called Vrbo who said they did not know of the booking and were not affiliated to MadeComfy. This is quite distressing when you are travel-weary and in a era of scams. I would suggest you cease this policy immediately!

We had a lovely stay at the property for the weekend, we were in Sydney for the NRL. Good location for us, we used Ubers to get around and also I enjoyed the 10 min walk up the hill ro Rozelle for coffees each morning

Not as noisy as expected; so don’t be too worried about that.

Found it easy to work everything out. Sound proofing was very good, needed due to construction work at the start of Victoria Road.

A bit shabby
The stairs are very steep, and badly lit.
The place needed a deep clean quite a few cobwebs, cushions and lounge and chairs all stained.
A warning should be placed on the sound proof windows, as when I went to open it I didn’t realise they were screwed in and the window feel onto my foot. Leaving me with a very swollen and cut up foot. The place was very noisy as there is a contraction sight right behind the house which started early. On a positive note the beds were very comfortable.

Nice location
Very convenient to the centre of town by car. Not so much by public transport. Pleasant place in a quiet street.

Good property, central location
Lovely property and a good central location. Whilst the owners have done a great job sound proofing the property, the noise from the Rozelle Interchange Project during the day does prevent opening the doors and windows.

Rozelle pet friendly
Great pet friendly accommodation
Some minor issues need attention
WiFi didn’t work
Very steep stairs Need anti slip treads and some night lighting
Wanted to extend stay but Not easy to communicate with site managers

A little longer of a walk to Darling harbour than we expected. Needed cabs that service that area.
Not bad for our first experience. Would recommend you.

The place and location were both perfect
