Clean bed & bathroom
Unable to reach lockbox and do code at night

Entry instructions were simple. The team were super responsive and helpful when I was unable to access my original emails. Quality eating spots are nearby and it is a quiet place where you can have a decent rest and get away from the hustle and bustle.
The kitchen is fully decked out, but if you arrive late bring your own tea/coffe/milk before stores close. Otherwise the local supermarkets are a short distance away.

N/A for breakfast. Location was good. Being able to have our dog with us was very much appreciated. Availability of parking was good. The lack of road noise and peace and quiet was appreciated. Being in a central location was appreciated.
Key access. The lock box being high on the wall and difficult to negotiate was very much a challenge. There was considerable difficulty reading the numbers at dusk. We were very fortunate that a resident was able to assist us. Also, the gate key, if you aren't made aware, is difficult to operate. If you push the key fully in the gate won't open. The apartment was suitable. It would have been appreciated if there could have been tea/coffee on arrival. Having a mould allergy, it would be appreciated if the mould in the shower wall tiling grout could be cleaned.

We liked the location, anybody could have taken the key from the lockbox. It was unsecured (open) at the bottom of the box, so you could put your hand inside & take the key! The gate key entrance is very tricky to open. When was it last checked by management?
In the kitchen there was dishwashing liquid, but, nothing to wash up with, no dishcloth, no washing up sponge. So therefore nothing to wipe down the bench, table, or to wipe the floor if water was spilt. No paper towels no tissues .
We would have liked to have sat outside but, the rusty table and chairs were not inviting, plus the floor in that area hadn’t been cleaned for ages, not brushed, not mopped or wiped down. We went to use the washing machine but, the container of liquid detergent was empty, so we had to buy our own, (we took ours with us). In the bathroom the shower drain must be blocked, as the water would overflow out to the bath mat, so you walked out onto a wet mat. The toilet seat didn’t fit properly & was loose. The bedroom door doesn’t close, but, what was worse and not very unhygienic, there was no mattress protector on the bed, 😞 who makes a bed in accommodation without putting a protector down first? In the lounge, when was the last time the rug was cleaned? It was filthy! The sofa was ripped, not a good look! 😞 And we’re paying good money for this kind of accommodation? Not worth it!. Looks good in your photos ! We should get some kind of compensation/refund for 3 days at least? Management isn’t doing its job properly by not checking after the cleaners or talking to them after doing a job. To the owner…..Please learn from this feedback.

The location was really good - just down the road from the main Rozelle shopping district.
The apartment had been recently renovated.
Oh where to begin?
I've never before felt the need to immediately leave a place of accommodation I was staying at, and I have stayed at some real dodgy places (hello European hostels!), so this was a first for me.
Our bad experience started with car parking. The accommodation provider has a number of apartments in this complex, but only one car park that has to be booked separately. We contacted the provider well in advance requesting access to the car park and paying the additional fee.
We arrived at the property and discovered that someone else was parked in the spot we had paid extra for. We couldn't figure out who the car belonged to, so we contacted the provider and told them someone in the spot. Their response was that we should park on the street because it was free at that time of night. We had just driven from Melbourne and this was not at all practical for us, so we squeezed in beside the other car. This was however not an option because the park belonged to someone else. In the end, we didn't have access to the car park for the first two nights of our stay. It turned out it was another of their guests that they apparently told could use the park 🤦♀️
The property didn't understand that we weren't really paying for the car space; what we were paying for was a place to park our car without hassle or concern. We didn't want to have to deal with parking in inner west Sydney!
The car park itself was also nothing to write home about. It was down this dirty laneway, which wasn't sealed and had enormous pot holes. The laneway would flood whenever it rained. The laneway also had rats 🐀 (they were enormous) and the allocated car park had rubbish in it.
To get to the apartment from the car park (and from the street for that matter) was via an alleyway. It was dark and creepy, like something out of a horror film.

The cleaners were still in the place when we arrived at after 8pm when check in was meant to be at 2. We were made to wait for 20 minutes on the street after a 4 hour drive

We were in 2 apartments.
Apart BAL 05, the exhaust in the bathroom was not working, the blinds to to rear main window / door would not close.
Apart BAL 03, no hand soap or dishwashing detergent was provided.
In each no tea or coffee was provided!

Any positive aspect (location mainly) was ruined by the lack of cleanliness. Lack of considerations after sending my complains. Send picture of all bed linnen diety and with hair too. Was given the option to get them changed, but never saw anyone. Really poor
Lack of Cleanliness. Lack of care from the property manager(s). Offers that didn't match with the number of people on the booking. Not enough towels. Dirty beds (all) with stains and hair.

The property was clean & comfortable.
The Wifi password given didn’t work. The only windows to open were in the living area & parking in the street was ticketed till 10pm which was frustrating.

nothing. it was all good. only negative was that we weren’t sent the check in instructions on time so had to go to the shop next door for help on arrival.

Dirty. hairs on pillowcases and in bedding suggesting it had not been changed. also hairs in shower, basins. place is pretty run down for money paid. Stained carpets, skirting boards not fixed, shared hallways pretty disgusting. Only had one key despite x2 in accommodation. In fairness on complaining they did offer to clean and left a second set of keys. Also took 10 days to get return of near $500 bond they took as I used a debit card.

location was great, surrounded by restaurants and cafe's, bus stop at front door, easy walking distance to shops.
The laneway was messy and difficult to navigate in the rain, fruit fly's were coming up from the garbage bin area into the apartment. The front door was sticking and had to be opened by pushing with my shoulder. Mattress was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on.

the sheets & pillows were dirty, the place was not vacuumed (hair all over the floor). the pillows were rock hard and very old.
night road works going on from 8pm - 7am every night, with no notice prior to stay. expected to be going on for months!

The place was damp, water had penetrated the rooms and spoiled carpets and flooring. The place was grubby, lacked china and cutlery and smelt stale. The outlook was of abandoned factory buildings covered in foul graffiti. The "terrace" was used by the local birdlife as a toilet! The local agent did his best to help but could not offer alternative accommodation so we were forced to stay. Access to the apartment was through a wet passage or a muddy car park, both filled with refuse and bins. Never again!!

The apartment is bit clumpsy and there is no ventilation for the rooms.

it is located down a desk alleyway and the gate is often locked meaning one has to find your own way around the back.

Comfortable and spacious apartment in a central location close to cafes and transport.
Limited parking close by.
Only one key was provided, but access was via a remote locked gate and a lock at the entrance to the building before getting to the apartment. This was not particularly convenient given we were coming and going at different times.
Very limited cooking utensils provided.
We felt it was rather expensive given its location.

We have tried to contact Booking.com to discuss these issues. I set the search parameters to show properties with balconies and yet when we arrived at the property we had a ground floor apartment. The following issues were noted:-

Dirty air conditioner
Unable to use washer/dryer due to door being stuck
