Great location! Close to Ho’Okipa beach and not too far from the airport! The unit was very spacious and we liked how there was more sink in the washroom. Aside from the bug issue, the washroom and bed were nice.
Cockroaches and centipedes galore. There was a cockroach inside the toaster oven! While it’s difficult to avoid bugs on an island, it was still unpleasant to encounter these bugs inside our place (daily) during our stay. Additionally, the fan was a bit annoying. It was either too cold with the fan on or too hot without it.

Very good place if you're looking to avoid staying in resorts and very touristy areas. The town of Haiku is cute, very centrally located on the island. The apartment is a short drive or 30 min walk to grocery store, cafes, restaurants. The apartment is pretty comfy and clean (thin walls so if you're a light sleeper you might hear some noise). Great value for money. The owner provides access to some beach equipment which was also really nice.
The only downside is to walk places you have to walk along the state highway. There's a shoulder so it's not completely unsafe but just take note!

Wonderful spacious studio for 2 people. Could easily have fit another. Liked the extra futon couch. Nice big bathroom. Nice size dining table with 4 chairs. Decent studio style cooking facilities and stainless pots/pans. Place was clean, all bedding was clean, place had broom and towels and sponges. Big enough apartment style building so that other guests seemed adequately separate. Decent amount of space to dry wet towels/water gear. Internet was decent. Hosts were very responsive to questions that I texted. Closets and rack for luggage. Some beach gear in garage, like flippers, goggles, a few boogie boards, beach chairs. Quiet residential neighborhood
Very minor, The fridge didn't seem to always keep stuff cold, but happy to have a fridge with separate freezer and the freezer worked, so could make ice for drinks. Bed was a little squishy but not atypical. It took a bit to figure the fan remote and TV remote, but they worked fine. We used our own streaming service, not sure what TV service is included. Par for the course in most of Haiku, there aren't sidewalks, so be careful walking at night, or drive at night. The upstairs unit gets warm in the sun (obvious), so keep the fans running. All very minor.

We loved the location! It was off the road to hana and really close to paia beach town. It was perfect for our needs. There was a driveway with parking, so we didn't have to park on the street. We used the beach towels in the rental. We loved all the open windows and fresh air. The overhangs were oversized and didn't let in any rain, so even when it rained we could have the windows open.
We couldn't figure out the fans in either room. The fan or light would randomly turn on or turn off or wouldn't turn on or turn off. Not sure if there was a trick.

Roomy apartment and location.
While pillows, sheets and comforter were clean and okay - they are a bit old.
No body lotions in shower container.

Excellent location away from the very touristic areas. Spacious and very clean appartment with all needed. I loved the balkony to chill out with a wonderful view. Stefano the owner was very friendly and supportive to all my needs.
Nothing to mention. I would definitely recommend it to other people visiting Maui.

It would have been nice to have air conditioning and with this it would have been perfect.

The room was large and comfortable. (There is a nice covered balcony with a table and chairs as well as two comfy chairs and a tea table.). The kitchenette had everything one might reasonably need.
It was up a long flight of stairs with no lift option: we have three heavy bags. There is no air conditioning, which is material on Maui. There were not enough coat hangers. The parking was not easy to manoeuvre in.

Close to most places of interest.
My daughter paid US$769.10, yet at Google, you advertise it at $175 which is $525 for 3 nights from July 8 - July 11 checked out at 11 am. I felt she overpaid. I checked around and there was one offering $125 per night. But how do you price-matched?

The host was highly available and answered queries quickly.
Big clean bathroom with all the necessary toiletries
Things such as beach chairs were complimentary.
The toilet door was not working sometimes.
The kitchen floor had cobblestone flooring. This made it difficult to work barefoot.

clean and modern. A simple layout with a nice cross breeze.
The drains were a bit slow but not really any issue.

good location, well equipped, clean
bed is not a large one (151-180 cm) but a normal one (140 cm) and mattress are very bad (for the bed and the futon)
Poorly soundproofed

Cozy, comfy, and affordable. It almost felt a little too much like home and not enough like a vacation :-) Somewhat central location that puts pretty much all of Maui within decent driving time/distance. Nice location for less beachy activities, but not too far from some beaches, although Kihei and Lahaina are a decent drive. Close to Paia which is an awesome little town, and close to Ho'okipa, which is great for surfing and sea turtles that come to rest on the beach (not sure about snorkeling). Also closer to Hana than many other places you might stay. Tasty food trucks to the east and west, and lots of dining in and around Paia, and quite close to Mama's Fish House, which is delish (make reservations 3-6 months in advance, or show up late and ask if there's space at the bar like we did). Medium sized fridge. Airport, Costco and other big-box stores are only 25 minutes away. Owner was responsive to questions.
No AC or ironing board, water pressure leaves a bit to be desired, but the shower water is hot. We didn't use the kitchen. If you want a beach vacation, get something closer to other beaches. We only stayed 4 nights, which felt about right for this property. I would probably choose something else for a longer stay, or maybe split my stay between here and another place. Can sleep 4, but would be a bit cramped. For 2, it's pretty nice.

Everything, the location was great, the property and everything inside was quiet and well maintained. The people around us were very respectful as well. It was very accessible to have a kitchen, table, and parking. Even garbage and recycling were very accessible and organized.
The sliding door in the masters bedroom was broken. Fuzzy blue blanket inside the closet of the masters was dirty and had stains. I thought it was clean and ready to use but was the.

The apartment was everything as advertised. Due to my fault there were no sheets for the pull out couch. I sent Stefano a text and within 2 hours -while we were out- the sheets, blanket and pillows were made up on the bed!!! The unit was on the second floor with a deck- quiet place for coffee in the morning and ice cream at night. I read a review where someone thought the apartment was hard to find. It is easy to find unless you are directionally challenged. Laundry machines were available- that was a + for us. You can't beat the price for staying here. It is close to the airport, the road to Hana and Haleakala Natl Park.
Karen & Loraine stayed 9/29-10/2- 2022
There is no AC- I didn't mind as I do not have it but my sister-in-law thought is was going to be a problem. It was hot when we returned from being out all day but with the sliding doors open and the fan on- it cooled down enough to be comfortable.
