Property is as stated, everything is clean and functional but is very dated. No money has been put in this rental in quite a while. …but it is cheap to rent
Also be warned about renting this unit in July or August. There is no A/C and the bedroom has no window or ventilation,

Too Hot to Handle
Over all was pleased, however, it could use a good handyman and some needed upgrades, i.e. air conditioning

Is as advertised. Nothing special but Great location
Couldn’t have asked for a better location to enjoy our time up skiing. Was a cozy place to stay with easy access to shuttle and the views of the mountain were epic. We had everything we needed on our stay here. Only thing is the cabin needs some work. Base board heater was a little sketchy looking, but it heated the cabin just fine. Simple extras like a firestick or Roku also could go along way. Would’ve been nice to have TV but you really aren’t inside long if you’re there for the great outdoors.

Good setup in Great location
If you're looking for luxury accommodations then keep looking. If you're in search of a well-laid out, serviceable spot for two at a reasonable price - then you've hit the jackpot. Great view of the mountain as a bonus. Five stars.

Some issues with unit renters need to be aware of
We knew unit was basic, however is no frills: The bathtub very slippery. All the faucets had so much lime built up that pressure poor and uneven. The animal skin on floor was slippery if stepped on it quickly it could go out from under you. Crowded bedroom and mattress questionable. Padding on 2 arm chairs seats in front room lumpy & uncomfortable. We didn't expect a primitive camping experience. Repairs were amateurish. Good was close to bus pickup.

Great location
Close to many trails and activities. The condo itself is a bit dated, but very comfortable.

Nice little condo.
Our only surprise was the lack of air conditioning and ventilation in the bedroom. I’m sure it’s fine during ski season, but July/August was a little rough. It does have fans though.

Great stay!
Everything is as described in the listing. Property manager was very quick to respond when I had a question about the door code. I had a great stay here.

Last minute booking
The overall stay met our needs, since nothing else was available. The attempted remodel was subpar but met what we needed. It needs to be clearly stated that AC is not available. However the check-in/check-out process was fantastic, the overall property was beautiful.

A ski crashpad
This condo was listed as having a washer, dryer and TV service amoung other amenities. Upon arrival we found out there was no TV service and the washer did not work. We would have appreciated a rate compensation given the condo did not have some key amenities. Uncool on landlord's part.

Good location, nothing special
Great mountains views and close to resort. On site property manager family so kind and helpful. Very small, no bells or whistles.

Montana Honeymoon
This was an excellent property with a breathtaking view. It was so close to the ski areas and was very well maintained. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice, small place at a decent price
The plus side: The property was clean and comfortable. Offers a breathtaking view of the mountain. The owner was very nice and the manager was in a nearby condo.
Negatives: It's pretty small, and it's a bit far from the base, plus it's on the third floor, which was a challenge after long days of skiing.
All in all, it was a nice place to stay, especially for the price.

Solid, compact, basic and reasonably priced accommodation
Very comfortable, great view of Lone Peak, well appointed with functioning appliances, plumbing, heat good internet and a good collection of old movie DVDs. About .25 mi walk along Sitting Bull Road to parking lot P where skier shuttle stops every 5 minutes. It is on the third floor with 30 stairs in a covered stairwell - not bad for most people who can ski all day. Adequate parking in outdoor lot. Solid, compact, basic and reasonably priced accommodations for 1 or 2 people. The couch would also work to sleep on for non-bed-sharing roommates. Both Dan Horman, owner, and the on-site managers are approachable and helpful. I'd stay there again.

This condo is great on a budget everything you need for cooking a meal. The carpet was stained but overall very clean.

It's what's not said
It is a little condo, as described, however its what's not said that is more important when booking this condo.
The parking lot is about 50 yards from the building (could be further depending upon where you get a parking spot). From the parking lot you have to walk down approx. 8 stairs, walk to the building and THEN walk up 2 flights of stairs with your gear. There is NOT an elevator. The owner responded that there is a picture of the stair well included. However its more a picture of the building and if you look really close, you can see where the stairs are located. Not sure how the picture shows there isn't an elevator, and its only accessible via stairs...
The counters, floor, tub, sink and towels are well worn so it is difficult to distinguish between stained or dirty. I have pictures if you would like them. In addition, there isn't a heater in the bedroom area and its pushed against the wall, so you have to crawl over to the other side of the bed when there with a partner.
We arrived at 1 am and stayed the first night, but booked a different location as we were not able to stay there due to accessibility. We contacted the owner immediately the next day, who was very prompt when booking the property, and asked for a refund of two of the three nights due to the accessibility of the property and having to book another location. After several emails and over a week later, he declined our request stating there is a picture of the stairs. He did refund the security deposit after requesting that returned as well.

Awesome morning and evening views, great location.
Within walking distance of lifts and a couple trail heads. Condo is clean and ample sized for a couple and possibly more. Walking distance to Mountain Village with a pleasant drive to the Meadow Town Center. There's too much to do nearby to mention. Definitely worth the stay.

Cozy condo with a beautiful view and convenient location
This is a great place to stay while in Big Sky. The condo is decorated with a rustic western feel and suits the location. My boyfriend and I were really pleased with all the features including the washer and dryer and dishwasher in the condo. You can see the mountain right from the window and it is a stunning view. The caretaker was also very friendly and helpful, as well as close by. We had a very nice time and enjoyed our stay.

Everything we needed for a nice Ski Vacation
On the bus route, parking is close, condo is clean and quiet. Be aware the condo has a very small hot water heater so make it a quick shower. Very comfortable with a functional kitchen and laundry. We will be booking again.

the place was dirty and needed refurbishing
The kitchen and bathroom floors were filthy! The living room floor rug needed to be cleaned. I Think the bed sheets had been washed. The kitchen counters were sticky and dirty. I would never stay there again; we ended up moving our belongings into a family member's room and stayed there. The hot water ran out early when showering. Two people could never shower back to back.

One out of 5 stars
In some ways it seems like I'm writing a review on a Hill condo unit different than the one in other reviews. My wife and I are not fussy people but I have to say overall we were disappointed in our place.
Good things: It was warm. The heat worked very well. The water was warm and the bathroom was functional with no problems. It is very compact but we knew it would be and it served our needs. It's a short free bus ride to the mountain. Personally I felt comfortable with the neighborhood. Most residents are hard working younger people and anyone I ran into outside were friendly.
The not so good things. Sorry to say but the carpet was smelly and stained. I think just a real good shampoo would have done a lot of good. My wife bought some Febreeze which of course only temporarily masks odors but that didn't last long. The linoleum type tile that goes from the kitchen area to the bath area was very old, cracked and with holes. There's no way to clean something like that. The furniture was old but functional. The kitchen appliances worked but in back of the sink/ dishwasher was a large hole in the wall that was concealed by free standing a couple pieces of wood ( maybe incomplete from a repair job?). It happened to be very cold at our visit so the exterior door tended to freeze shut which we unthawed using a hair dryer. We had the impression that there were no pets/dogs allowed but at the bottom of the steps were pee marks and other indications of a good size dog as well as barking coming from the lowest unit. Also met a guy one morning going down the steps with his dog. We are also dog owners but would never bring him because of "the rules", so where was the manager?
We've vacationed many times in the Big Sky area so I'm aware of the history of the Hill condos. Some have been remodeled and updated and others are still as they were when built. It appeared to us that this one may be in its original state but anyway in my humble opinion is in need of a remodel or a least basics of flooring.
We had requests where we needed the manager. A bulb out in the bed area and when the door froze shut on us twice. Tried by phone and knocking on the door with no result.
Conclusion. I'd stay at Hill again but I'd make sure it was a remodeled unit. Sorry, but not at this one as it is now. By the way I have photos of the problems described

It is a small, but comfortable condo.
We really enjoyed our time at Big Sky. The condo is small, but comfortable for a couple. Matt, the on-site manager, was great! The only issues we had with the condo were the dryer door was broken but we were able to tape it shut. Also, the bathroom door wouldn't slide shut, but again, not a huge issue. Overall, I would rate this little condo very highly!

Convenient by not without some compromise
We must tell you this condo was convenient to the mountain, right at a shuttle route stop. Right from inside the mountain you get the best view of lone peak. Pretty much everything we needed was there for use, but it was not fancy. The compromises: the place smelled like smoke- and it kept on coming throughout the week. The bed would probably work for just a couple days, but a week was uncomfortable. The area was a bit sketchy too. Overall, not a complete loss- and not bad for the price.
