Highly recommended garden room in a great location in Cape Town

We stayed in a very comfortable garden room in a beautiful setting in a great location in Cape Town. Dalene made us feel most welcome and was flexible in terms of our arrival time. William went the extra mile a couple of times on things we needed and did a great job servicing our room each day. It was also great to have air-conditioning on a couple of warm Cape nights. The kitchenette area served all of our catering needs well. The WiFI worked most effectively and there was a comfortable chair and round table to be able to do some remote working mixed with leisure activities. It was also good to be able to sit outside in a beautiful garden setting when we had time.

There was nothing that we didn't like. We will definitely return!

Super séjour dans un endroit idyllique

Tout était impeccable. Propreté, literie, sanitaires, emplacement de parking. Nous avions notre petit endroit à nous (2 chambres). Nous n’avons jamais été dérangés. Dalene, la propriétaire, est une personne charmante.

Schönes Guesthouse

Super nette Gastgeberin, die uns spätabends noch empfangen hat und uns am Morgen ein tolles Frühstück zubereitet hat. Der Garten ist sehr schön mit dem Pool. Leider konnten wir beides nicht nutzen, da wir nur auf der Durchreise waren. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Relaxing stay in leafy Rondebosch with delicious breakfast and sparkling pool

A lovely B&B in Rondebosch with friendly and welcoming Emily, always on hand to help. Breakfast was delightful - the fruit salad in particular. Our room was spacious, clean and bright. The aircon was a welcome addition. We loved the gardens and the pool and were very lucky to be the only guests at the time. The 5 westies were just gorgeous and made us miss our furry friend at home. Parking was off street and secure; access to the property was easy and secure too. Dalene was very informative in advance with contact information and address. She also very kindly provided mozzie repellant in our room as my son and I are very prone to being bitten. The welcome biscuits and christmas chocolates were a lovely touch.

Komme jederzeit wieder und kann es nur empfehlen

Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, viel Grün um das Haus, darin eingebettet Pool und Liegemöglichkeiten. Frühstück war sehr lecker, individuell nach meinen Wünschen gestaltet.

Perfect for a safe, comfortable stay in Cape Town.

The rooms are beautifully furnished with thoughtful touches like electric blankets, extra lighting in the bathroom mirror and ultra comfortable beds.

Luxury, hospitable rooms in quiet Rondeboch

Very hospitable and accommodating. Clean, quite, very comfortable, safe. Would highly recommend

Suggest outside security night lights are dimmed as they can illuminate the room.if you are a light sleeper. Bring your own two pin plugs.

Firstly, Dalene accommodated me when my plans changed with very short notice - I appreciate her consideration. The space is beautiful and clean. The breakfast was great. Hot & cold breakfast. Dalene's omelete was delicious.

Just perfect!

Dalene was helpful and available to all our request. She was honest, open and communicated from the start. Very friendly hosts!!!! The location is perfect, easily accessible to and from all main attractions and roads in Rondebosch/Newlands/Claremont area, as well as the Airport.

Highly recommend to anyone visiting CPT that is wanting something easy, quiet and comfortable.

What a beautiful little spot in the heart of Rondebosch. Close to all the places we were intending to visit. We felt safe and so comfortable during our one night stay that we had to book another night that wasn’t planned! 🥰 what a treat!

Not a single dislike for anything! It was fabulous.

For the money I paid, I would rather be at Oakvale in a cosy comfortable room than in a hotel

I did not have breakfast but I was exceptionally impressed by the faclities, the proper coffee in the room, the bedding. The owner is very friedly and hospitable. I was attending a graduation ceremony at UCT so the location was spot on for me. It is also not far from the golf courses. Keep it up.

OveralI couldn’t recommend this place enough, it’s centrally located and if you have a car there is secure parking avail

We had an overnight stay here with our mom and son and it was an absolute delight. We stayed in the garden and oak rooms, both really specious, beautifully renovated bathrooms and comfy beds and pillows. Our son loved running around and exploring the manicured garden and even enjoyed a cheeky 7pm swim because… why not?! Dalene was an exceptional host and treated us to a delicious breakfast comprising of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts and warm options between full English, French toast, omelettes etc. Equally, a great source of recommendations for activities and excursion ideas around the region. Lovely touches in the rooms themselves - the locally sourced amenities were lovely, fresh milk in the fridge to have with freshly brewed plunge coffee, drawer stacked with mosquito repellant (although we didn’t actually need it the night we stayed). Particularly loved the friendly Westies, I feel like the adorable Zoe and I had a real connection!

Conveniently located. easy access into the property and the unit I was staying in. Beautiful gardens and pool area. Decent wifi that enables me to join my teams meetings (with video) with absolutely no issues. friendly and helpful hostess and staff.

This is the absolute perfect place to stay. Breathtakingly gorgeous garden, safe parking, and the unit itself literally has everything you could need. It is stylish, comfortable and beautifully designed, with so many thoughful touches. The breakfast was delicious!

A very well run guest house - comfortable and value for money.

This property represents extremely good value and we were very happy with our stay here. the room was lovely, the bed was comfortable with an electric blanket, the WiFi was good and the room very clean. breakfast in the lovely dining room was of a high standard.The owners were delightful. we had secure parking for the car. The road on which the guest house sits is a busy road and we were aware of some traffic noise but it really didn’t affect our sleep at night and I would book again.
