About this house rental

Sit on one of your four balconies and enjoy the ocean breezes and sounds of the surf. This property consists of two modern, spacious and beautifully appointed 4 bedroom, 3½ bath townhouses (the view from Unit A is superior to Unit B) and are located at the north end of the island, close to some of Tybee's finest restaurants and shops. Luxurious appointments including king size bedding throughout, less than 100 yards to the beach and a swimming pool make this unit ideal for a family vacation.

All reservations canceled 48 hours or more from the booking date are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Reservations canceled for any reason within 60 days of the date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the RENTAL DEPOSIT (50% of the original rental rate plus all taxes and fees). Reservations canceled within 15 days of the date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the entire rental amount, including all taxes, fees, and rental deposits.

The property was a perfect fit for a large family vacation. The location was very convenient. We were in walking distance to the beach, stores, and ice cream shop. Just a little disappointed with the cleanliness of things. The bathroom base boards were dirty, the living room windows have green algae growing on them, very dusty in a lot of places. It was a great town to vacation in.

Our family enjoyed our stay. We had a problem with the pool and the oven. Both problems were resolved with the property manager. We did not feel safe in the elevator and refrained from using it. Thank you!!

Property very nice. Did not have a mop in either unit. Made it hard with kids. Our feet were filthy as I think the wood floors need a good scrubbing as well as the living area rugs. Not enough bath towels. Should have two sets of two in each bathroom. Wound be excellent if there was some type of entry between units without going outside. Very close to the beach which was great.

Great family vacation!
Great family vacation!
We rented both units for a family vacation for the last week of June 2022. When I booked in September 2021, the property was advertised for up to 21 people; we reserved for 19. Subsequently, the town reduced maximum capacity to 14. However, we were not notified of the change. I noticed the change in April and contacted property management to inquire and was just told to keep a low profile to avoid problems (!?) As it worked out, we only had 15 people by the time we arrived. The units had represented that each unit had 3 kings, 1 queen, and 1 single bed. When we arrived there was not a single bed in either unit, leaving us 2 beds short. I contacted the management company and they provided 2 portable beds; we made that work. We stayed in the main suite in Unit A, so the following relates to that unit. Positives: the location was great! Short walk to the beach and restaurants; the common area was very large and served well for our whole group to congregate; we found our bed to be very comfortable; the swimming pool was an added benefit; Unit A had a working elevator (the one in Unit B was being repaired), which was great since my husband and I are in our mid-70s and there were 3 levels to each unit; there was plenty of parking. Negatives: the units were a bit tired and in need of updating; there was lots of stuff in the kitchen, but only 2 dish towels, no hot pads, one small spatula; the doors to the porch on the main level were very difficult to open and close; there is no door giving access from Unit A to Unit B, requiring going all the way to the ground level to access the other unit; in the main bedroom, the drapes were almost impossible to open and the hem was nearly completely out of a section of the drapes; the large closet was full of junk, leaving very little room for clothing -- and only 4 hangers; the bathroom was very large, but out of date --- and no door; the tile grout was in need of a good cleaning. Our family had a wonderful time on Tybee Island and found the location to be perfect. However, for the amount of money charged we expected a nicer interior.

The property was in a perfect location. Both units were very hot and I felt they should have been cooled down for the arrival of guest. The beach is literally across the street which is amazing. Maintenance was supposed to fix things prior from the previous clients and they were trying to come during our stay to fix those concerns. It was a enormous roach in the bathroom. Lol I took off running. lol The elevator in one unit worked but I paid for both units so it was an inconvenience.
