We stayed at the house for a few week while our boy(s) played in a tournament at Space Coast Complex. The house was somewhat dated but clean. There were sugar ants in the kitchen and we had to go get some spray and ant traps. We made sure we booked a home with a washer and dryer because we were there playing baseball and would need to wash uniforms often. Upon arrival we were told we could only do one load of laundry every other day due to the age of their septic/well. Well that doesn’t work with 2 boys playing baseball all week. Overall, the stay was ok but the property definitely needs some updating.

This was our second time staying at this home. First time was back in June 2022. Amazing view of KSC and rocket launches. Close to the beautiful Playlinda Beach. We saw dolphins almost every day. House is well equipped with laundry supplies and kitchen necessities.

This house sits right on the river. Absolutely beautiful views everyday! Launches directly across the river that are watchable from the great sized dock. Can watch manatees and dolphins also. The pool is the perfect temperature for the hot weather and the house is huge and beautiful!! Can’t wait to stay again!!!

Everything you need is within five miles. Groceries, gas, restaurants, auto parts, bait. Etc. the peace of being on the water is amazing. Large dinner table for gathering around or putting puzzle’s together and playing games with a crowd. Kitchen well supplied. Watched a launch and visited the local Moose even. Just a few miles from the port even. Enjoyed it so much.

My husband and i spent a week with my daughter and five grandchildren. Close to space center and cocoa beach. We saw two launches and kids enjoyed the pool. Felt like a home, well stocked with everything we needed and lots of space. Felt a little strange driving through an older trailer park to get to the property, but the trailer park residents were very quiet and seemed friendly. Lots of privacy at the house!

Great location to watch rocket launches.
House has a nice layout.
The caretaker is very helpful with knowledge of the house and area.

A little dated and no heating for pool but lovely views saw a rocket launch and really nice management Bob did all he could for us only have to ask and the cleaner made sure everything was cleaned twice for us

The house has everything you need for a restful stay, fully equipped with anything you may need as well. It was immaculate.
Watching two launches was awesome from the front yard, too!
You are literally an hour (if that) from Orlando, 20 minutes from the cruise port and NASA's Kennedy Space Center is just across the river.
We plan on coming back next year for two weeks. Bob is the awesome property manager who is funny and darn good at what he dies.
Quite a gem!

Great view of launches. House was well equipped and close to KSC. Caught a few fish off the dock. Lots of wildlife on the river and saw dolphins several times. Couldn't use the pool as it wasn't heated. Overall the property worked well for us as our main purpose was to see some launches. Saw 2 Falcon 9 launches.

5 adults and 2 teenagers nice and spacious the kids enjoyed the pool i enjoyed the big table for sewing and hisband and son on law were fishing except for one meal we never left the property

The place was everything that the listing said it was. We got to see a launch and it was amazing! Waking up to that view every morning was astounding and did everything for my soul I needed. Bob and Missy were so accommodating! We had such an amazing time! We will be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3rd year in a row of 2 weeks summer vacation at this property. Saw dolphins at least once every day and a manatee once. Kids went fishing and net casting from the deck. Spent a lot of time in the pool, and we were fortunate to see 4 launches during our stay. Enjoyed the Kennedy Space Center again and visited the Warbird Air museum which was excellent. Would suggest deeper pocket fitted sheets for the king bed as it kept coming off and wrinkling up. During each of our stays here the AC has worked really well, just seemed to be less effective during the second week of our stay this time. Overall a great time and we look forward to returning!

We have stayed here several years and always enjoyed it!

Great place...only concern was that we were scolded for doing laundry. If that is an issue then place a note that states out of order. That is the only NEGATIVE about the entire stay. We will definitely be back. Beautiful Place!!!

The house itself and the river frontage was great. It was super clean. The surrounding community and drive in made us question the safety of the area. There are a lot of abandoned buildings, including at the entrance to the one lane drive thru a much older mobile home community to get to the property. We met Bob and Misty the caretakers at the house for checkin. Bob let us know the general things but also not mentioned in the listing that “ the side yard is the common area (for the residents of the park) and they may be your yard especially for rocket launches”. This included the middle of the night launches when we realized people are in the yard at 5am. Construction is going on next door to the house and starts early and trains sound of multiple times per night. Overall for the price the house itself was good, but for a family with kid(s) I would recommend staying closer to the cities of Titusville or Cocoa Beach.

Stayed here with family & had a great time. Enjoyed the convenience of a private pool & fishing was good. Reminded us of staying in our family river camps years ago. Kitchen is well stocked & had all we needed to cook meals & clean up.

Loved all of it. Bob is positively great.

This was my family’s first experience staying in a house right on the lagoon. Breathtaking views all day every day, dolphins everyday, pelicans, string rays by the dock, fishing off the dock, canoeing, and two satellite launches in one week (you don’t have to leave the yard)! My husband, daughter and son-in-law all agreed that the combination of dock, canoe and pool were better than being on the beach (my son-in-law was very surprised by this). This is an older ranch style home with lots of windows and sliding glass doors that lets everyone spread out (but always enjoy that fantastic view and natural light). We all hope to return to this lovely, relaxing home in the future.
Bob is the property caretaker that lives close by. Very nice guy that is always happy to help.

Third time we have been here. Super cozy and friendly. Family trip and kids immensely enjoyed the pool. Dolphins Manatees rays sponges birds all off the deck of the house. And rockets!! Night time launch was spectacular!

I’ve rented waterfront houses in Florida for the past 30 years so I know pretty much what to expect in a vacation property. This is a nice house with an outstanding view, nicely furnished and comfortably equipped, remote but not exactly private. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the best house for us because we want a nice warm pool and a location where we can walk, preferably to nearby stores, restaurants and sightseeing - and this house had neither.
The pool is big and beautiful but was too cold for us to swim. It rained every day which made the pool even colder and the few hours of morning sun were not enough to warm it without a heater. The only access to the house was through a run-down trailer park (whose residents share some of the waterfront space and who yell at you if they think you’re exceeding the 5 MPH speed limit). There was no other place to walk and nothing within walking distance to see or do, both of which are important to our enjoyment of a place. There's active construction noise from the adjacent property and some night creature that makes screeching noises all night (think "cats fighting"). (As musicians we were disappointed that the piano in the photos is in a horrific state of disrepair.)
The house itself was nicely appointed and well equipped and there's plenty of space indoors and out but it wasn't the best fit for us. If you want a great view and don't mind noise, a cold pool and driving somewhere else to walk, shop or sightsee, you’ll love it.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The home is amazing and comfortable. Bob and Missy were helpful and a pleasure to talk with. We loved watching the sun rise, the nature and solitude of the back area, fishing, dolphins swimming by daily, 2 rocket launches, and just relaxing. Thank you for a great experience!

This was our second time staying here and it was wonderful! We’re looking forward to visiting again soon!

Had a great vacation with family. Fished, went to a couple different beaches close to house. Saw a rocket launch that was amazing!! Bob the caretaker was very helpful and a great guy! Gave tips on where to go and helped the boys with fishing tips!! Plan on coming back next year!!

Awesome time, watched 5 rocket launches from the pool patio. Wonderful wildlife to watch. Manatees and dolphin play by the dock and all kinds of shore birds visit.

Came to Florida to watch daughter’s college softball team play in Viera. This property is a short 30 minute commute to USSSA fields and a relaxing place to go after the games. Loved watching wildlife including dolphins and manatees.

We love this house and the amenities it has to offer. A great place to stay!

Great view on the river. Sunrises were incredible.. We saw 4 launches from the cape. Bob was great, enjoyed our stay.

The quality of the house was great! The showers were amazing, the beds were comfortable and the layout was nice. One issue we had was the lack of detail that this was a 2 story unit. My dad is handicapped so when we found this out on the way to the house, it was a little concerning but it worked out. The owner was very responsive to any issues.

Clean, spacious house on the river. Very peaceful. Perfect place to watch rocket launches at KSC. Enjoyed exploring Merritt National Wildlife Preserve, Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach and outdoor dining at Pier 220, all within easy driving distance.

This house served us well. We saw dolphins, a rocket launch, and played in the pool...almost daily, even in November! We visited Disney and had some downtime with family. Bob, the caretaker, was very helpful and even loaned us fishing gear to make our experience even more enjoyable!. Thank you for allowing us to use this home!

Once again we had an awesome stay. The house was perfect and the views and wildlife were amazing. Thanks to Bob and missy for keeping the property in great shape. Looking forward to next year. Bob and Donna W.

Want a no frills, bells, or whistles getaway while being poolside in your own private pool with a secluded waterfront location on the Indian River across from Cape Canaveral and Merritt Island then this rental house is for you!!!
My husband grew up in Florida so we are transplanted natives that return to visit the area. This rental house had everything we needed.
Living in the city now the location of this rental house allowed us to have a VERY relaxing vacation being waterfront on the Indian River. We were here for a week and were able to enjoy many hours every morning watching the sunrise over the Indian River❤️ It’s located at the end on a secluded area…so quiet and peaceful except for the wonderful sounds of all of the wildlife that surrounds you(birds, frogs, and other).
If you enjoy watching wildlife as I do you will love this rental house. Dolphins, manatees, frogs, birds of all species frequent the waterfront and property all day and night long. I was excited to see the bioluminescence at night when the fish would swim or the dolphins would chase a school of fish… what a show.
We watched a SpaceX rocket launch from the dock on our first night!
The location of the rental house allowed us to make it our home base and travel within a reasonable distance to do different activities each day. We rented a Craigcat from Cape Crossing Marina, drove to Sebastian Inlet, spent the day at Playalinda Beach in Cape Canaveral National Seashore, visited Ron Jon’s surf shop in Cocoa Beach.
We enjoyed almost every meal that we had at the rental house outside at the table in the back covered pool area with a view of the pool and the Indian River.
This rental house allowed us to have the type of vacation that we wanted and allowed us to unplug and destress from everything!
Thanks for allowing us to stay in your family home Kathy!!

We had manatees, dolphins, sting rays and so much other wild life right off the dock. The algae in the waves just glowed. The highlight was the launch right across the river.
4.8
We can’t recommend this place enough! The location is perfect- early morning fishing and manatee spotting, taking a dip in the pool, and being close to so many fun things to do is just perfect. The property is close to both Cocoa Beach and Playalinda Beach and since we were traveling with kids we also visited the Brevard Zoo and the Dinosaur Museum. Bob the caretaker is very friendly and helpful with any questions. We hope to visit this gem again in the future.

We loved our stay here! If you are considering this place, just do it. The house was super clean. The kitchen was super stocked and there were enough linens for the whole week I saw a toddler bed in the closet and found a cooler in the hall closet so good to know so you to have to pack things like that. The beds were comfortable and the pool was clean, big enough to enjoy and had an incredible view. We caught sea trout off the dock AND saw our manatee friends 5 out of the 7 days there. And our super favorite thing... the rocket launches that happened while we stayed were FRONT and CENTER to the dock AND the sunrises are beautiful. Bob is wonderful and lives on the next property over and even though this house shares a driveway with a trailer park, the people are wonderful and the little yards are all very well kept. Don't let that derail you from going to such a beautiful hidden treasure. And KAthy was so nice for letting us bring our well behaved, well travelled dog with us. Perfect vacation. Thank you!!!!

This is our second time to stay here. We love the comfortable open spaces in the house…. Gorgeous view! We even had a manatee swimming at the dock! Plus we saw a SpaceX launch! We are already planning our trip for next year!

Relaxing vacation
This was our second time staying at this property and once again it was great! Saw manatees and dolphins daily, some days more than once. Often there were two manatees at the sea wall together. Had fun fishing off the deck. Visited several local attractions of which Kennedy Space Center was a highlight. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool. House was very clean and Bob was attentive and helpful. Planning on returning next year!

Just got back from a week at this property. It was one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever had. Great location and very quiet and tranquil. We saw dolphins multiple days and were lucky to see 2 rocket launches as well. Everyone, especially my daughter loved the pool. We will be coming back to this property in the future.
