perfectly fine, but poor value for money

Every staff person we met (at front desk and in bar and restaurant), was friendly, professional, service-oriented and competent. We had a pleasant stay.

I just don't see the value for money. We were given a free upgrade to a suite upon arrival, which seemed fun, but it was just a small sitting room, an overcrowded bedroom and a marble-clad, oversized (but not comfortable or well designed) bathroom. Overall nice, but not better than other good hotels at one-third the price. The mattress was overly soft, we heard city noises like a garbage truck beeping, we heard hotel noises (eg. finally figured out someone was playing with the automatic drapes in a nearby room - sounded like it was in ours), and there were so many electronic glowing devices in the room, from elaborate (confusing!) dimmer light switches to a tablet on the nightstand, that the room was not at all dark.

the location, the gym, the concierge, the valet

housekeeping did not maintain noir room properly and reception double guaranteed us.

From check in the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The rooms were classic four seasons

The room was well appointed, and a great size. The staff was excellent. Super helpful and accommodating went out of their way to help.

Superb

likely montreal’s best hotel: -beautiful room and premises -delicious room service menu including freshly pressed orange juice (and nearly 24/7) -comfortable bed with nice pillows -quite clean -pleasant service staff -great restaurant with a sultry soundtrack

Service and clenliness for a 4 Season not acceptional at all

Gym was clean, big and very well equipped.

We had participated on an only survey of 4 Seasons and provided in detail constructive feedback. Very disappointed that we didn‘t get any response which doesn’t suprise us considering the service complaints we have had. It started with bad concierge service, taking care of our luggage on our own when we arrived by car. Room cleaning was poor, etc. Not at all acceptable for the prices charged.

Breakfast location was good - light and airy.pleasant ambience. Staff were good.

Only one restaurant and one bar. The bar was too loud and the music awful.

Luxurious stay in downton Montreal!

We loved the location. Around the corner from Saint Catherine street where you can find lots of shopping and restaurants. The room was luxurious yet cozy. The floor we were on was very quiet. And the scent in the entire building is to die for! Sadly, the spa was out of stock:(. The staff was exceptional. We were there for my son's 11th birthday and they went out of their way to make him feel special. Akaash at the entrance was great. Vinish (sp? apologies) was so accommodating. We will definitely return!

-- to pay such a fees, facing a carpark and a wall , not worth it -- room is small comparing to Ritz in Montreal , more spacious -- Shower is bad -- too noisy

Nice luxury hotel, though pricy.

Great location. Convenient to downtown Montreal. High end finishes in room - expected in a luxury hotel. Friendly staff. Quiet floor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Concierge staff was also very helpful when handling special requests (e.g. gift basket delivery to room).

Cleaning staff were delayed; had to call twice to get fresh towels and garbage was not emptied. Valet service was also slow a couple of times when we retrieved the car from underground parking. View was just okay, even though we were on the top floor.
