This was a beautiful cruise with outstanding service. From coordinating transfer from Hanoi to each detail of our stay, we were very impressed.
Honestly nothing!

Fantastic Cruise, Efficient Organisation, and wonderful Staff. Alex was incredibly good guide.
Room too small. No room for luggage. The Day Boat tour was a bit subpar in terms of the food.

From the second we were greeted from Boddy, the hospitality was sensational. The staff and the food on the cruise was magnificent!!! above and beyond expectations. Highly recommend a memorable cruise with V' Spirit ❤️

Everything was well planned out. The ship was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The food was excellent but there were too many fish dishes.
4.5
The boat was smaller than some of the other massive ships but it had character and charm.
Nothing - it was a perfect stay.

The place where the cruise stops is very nice as there are not so many boats. The staff is super lovely and are willing to make you happy. Henry speaks a very good English and will be the one helping you with everything. The design of the boat is kind of Agatha Christie vibe. The organisation with the shuttle from Hanoi was smooth and easy.
Missing a place where to put the suitcase in the room. Missing a laundry service (maybe there was but I did not ask and it was not obvious). I would have preferred less activities but spend more time on cat ba island. The guide the first day was a bit annoying trying to create a club med vibe and screaming « Jimmy family in the speaker » (if you like all inclusive hotel vibe with the G.O screaming you will then enjoy it). The food was so so but they explained me that they make it in a way that anyone would like it hence it seems more like canteen food. The happy hour is a scam (2 bought 1 free). At the return to Hanoi the guy dropped me 50meters away from the hotel… which could have been tricky but I would expect to be dropped in front of the hotel.

The boat is beautiful, the rooms and views are lovely. The staff were all extremely nice and accommodating.
We would have liked to have blankets on the bed as opposed to just a sheet as with the AC, it got cold. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of garbage, dead fish and pollution in the water around the islands. The food was hit and miss and the portions were massive, so we felt bad wasting a lot of it. It would be better as a buffet or if there were photos of the food and you were able to choose what you wanted to eat. A lot was deep fried, which wasn’t what we would have liked. The itinerary was good, but also felt very rushed and too jam packed to be able to just relax and enjoy the scenery if you wanted to.

The elegant design and decor of the ship was absolutely stunning, and the delicious and diverse cuisine was a treat for the senses. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience!

Everythinf since the pick up was really nice!
Jimmy, our guide was very kind and sweet.
The room was clean and with an amazing bath tube with sea view

Great food, comfy boat with beautiful wooden interior and friendly staff.
I'm not sure we got the room we thought we'd booked though!
The day trip to the village was disappointing.

The itinerary was packed with fun and informative things to do. The staff were amazing, very welcoming, friendly and funny and the food was great!
The boat had excellent facilities and the location is incredible
The WiFi is not very reliable. You won't get signal in your room - best location is the top deck
But then this means you have to enjoy the moment and the scenery instead!! :-)

Friendly and efficient service. Very clean.
A bit regimental with the activities. Some of the places that were visited were quite busy with other tourists.

The staff were amazing! They were the best part about the boat.
The activities organised were great. It was fairly clean and beds were comfortable. The view from the rooms is incredible.
We had to swap rooms because our first room had a horrible smell. So bad that I had to leave the room in the morning for fresh air.
When we swapped rooms the new room had a leaking air conditioner which was fixed shortly after. That room was then great, no smells.
Food was so so, expected a little better for what we paid. The food on the first day was good, we were left full. All the meals after that were average and we were rarely left full, dinner on the 2nd night we were all still hungry.
The cost of water on the boat is a joke, so make sure you stock up before you go, 35k for a small 500ml bottle!
All in all the experience was by no means bad, but expectations were higher due to the price and the photos. Speaking with others on the ship they all said the same thing.
I spoke with people from another 3 star ship which sounded much worse. So it may be a common thing on the cruises that value for money isn’t best.

Great experience for people who like to try different cuisines.. please inform them in advance if you’re a vegetarian otherwise you’ll get french fries .. preferably go for a 2 night experience..
It sails for a shorter period of time .. mostly standing during the evening.. and the dinner time is too early … get ready to say goodnight around 8.30 pm

The staff are amazing, and go out of their way to make sure you’re enjoying yourself. The food is plentiful too. Ha Long Bag is beautiful, the bamboo boat and kayaking are highlights.
If your going - I’d look at a 2 night stay, the 1 night stay feels a little rushed and you don’t get to enjoy the beauty of the place with such limited time.
4.5
Very people friendly and witty tour guide.
Dinner could have been better. Extra water bottle charges were too high besides one 650ml bottle is not enough for one person per day.

Given we were on a boat, the rooms were large and well layed out. Loved having the balcony... Fabulous bathroom with jucuzzi tub. Food very good. Bus transportation very comfortable. Really enjoyed bike trip to fishing village.
Modern and new wood interior.
Some events canceled and only a little rain. Had to pay for coffee. Alcohol was expensive.
Horribly uncomfortable double kayaks we had to use after visiting fishing village.

Ha long bay was beautiful and we participated in activities to help show that.
The food standard could be improved.
