Could not have asked for a better location. The properties offered everything you could possibly need and so spacious! Great for a large group and surrounded by the countryside! Catherine was a great host, there for everything you needed but left you to your own devices. Will definitely be booking again. Thank you

Our stay was incredible. 21 people easily accommodated. The owner is wonderful, extremely helpful and accommodating. The surrounding area is beautiful with a lot of places to explore. Plus the two dogs in the property where a great bonus.
We are definitely coming again!

Three generations of our group found all the facilities excellent. We could arrange tables to seat 20 in Herd House for the main meals. The adventurous went walking - or to the pub about 1.4 miles away. The views are magnificent from the cottages or whilst walking. The owner was so helpful with all our queries-like we have forgotten milk so can you help! You are best advised to be self-sufficient as shops are some distance away-no problem if you are organised. Great enthusiasm for a longer stay in the summer maybe !!

We had a great family holiday at Herd House. The properties are spacious and well equipped, the working farm is fantastic, the children loved the animals, we loved the walking, the seeming baths, visiting lots of sites and historical houses. Great holiday.

Comfortable, homely accommodation which was great for three generations at our recent family reunion. Every amenity you need and friendly welcoming owner. The views and field at the rear of the property were an added bonus. We were going to explore the area but it was too comfortable to go far from the property!
