Teurer Aufenthalt im modernisierten Hostel mit guter Ausgangslage

+ top Lage direkt in Vik + modernisiertes Hostel, geräumige Zimmer, saubere duschen und eine große Küche + hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter

- Preis für ein Hostel mit Gemeinschaftsbad extrem teuer - Rechnungsausstellung mit Problemen und eigen mitgeteilte Erklärung, was hierfür benötigt wird

Great for transit, suboptimal for a few day stay

Great location in the city centre. Spacious and very quiet unit. Within reason it has about all which is needed to be comfy. Highly recommendable.

Check in not that smooth. No instructions of the use of self check in key box, microwave, stove and rubbish disposal. No cleaning detergent for wash up and bathroom.

Bellissima atmosfera,nel giardino c'erano papere e dei cani dolcissimi!Ottima collocazione sulla collina si ha un 'ampia vista. Stanza piccola ma graziosa e confortevole! Colazione buona e varia!

L'unica pecca è che c'erano a disposizione solo 2 bagni e una sola doccia per 40 persone... Ma ci si adegua!

Confortavelmente caseiro ❤️

Pequeno-almoço maravilhoso, cama confortável e quarto quentinho para uma noite relaxante, depois de um dia de frio e chuva. O facto que ser fora do centro de Vík também é ótimo.

Extremely rude guests and space in room was very confined. Rude and racist guests (living in same bunk) and it was a very bad experience

Für kurzen Aufenthalt super

Viele Infos und gute Tipps vorab erhalten Gute (Ausgangs-) Lage, haben von Vik aus einige Tagesausflüge unternommen Frühstück im unweit entfernten und sehr charmanten Restaurant Vorab bzgl. einem Upgrade gefragt worden

Sehr kleines Zweibettzimmer und zu wenige Duschen Täglich selbes Frühstück, leider nicht flexibel mit Aufpreis ein anderes Frühstück auszuwählen Nie jemanden an der Rezeption angetroffen

old facilities no hook inside the room for hanging up clothing nor towel, no table to put things on..... bed sheet and blanket cover are old bathroom drainage is too slow that soak your feet.

Awesome Location, Best Stay in Vik

This is one of the best hostels in Iceland. The property was clean, friendly and lively. The host was very helpful, suggested me places and also got me discount in many tours. I definitely recommend to speak to the host about discounts. The place has very friendly pets aswell to play with. I will definitely come again to this wonderful place.

Lovely spot to spend a few nights in Vik

Very nice place, typical hostel - no luxury but homey and comfortable. Common bathrooms, kitchen, dining and sitting area, all well equipped. Very comfy beds. Great breakfast in the restaurant next door. Lovely surroundings.

Nice hostel with decent facilities (kitchen, bathrooms) and a nice view onto the town and the ocean. The breakfast at the hotel nearby was tasty.

The room only contains 2 beds, no chairs, no hangers, no light next to the bed - these things would be good additions to the room. The floor in the room was quite dusty.

One of the best hostels in Iceland!

The breakfast is awesome, they got fresh eggs and fresh bakeries. There are animals around the hostel. They are friendly and nice. The room is tidy and clean. Excellent kitchen for backpackers. Got all stuffs we need.

The lock of the dorm is bit creaky. You need to be extra cautious to avoid disturbing roommates.

Highly recomended, very good hosts and facilities. Great view of the village too

Very nice facilities, we were lucky to be upgraded to an individual Unit/ house from a Family room. Great facilities, fantastic breakfast, very nice staff. Great view of the village from the hill too!

The kitchen/living room was a bit cold but it was winter and a high ceiling. Not an issue.

Friendly hostel in a beautiful town

I have been in this hostel at least 5 times, but this time I was probably the happiest there. The bathroom in the first floor is very nicely renovated and I had the chance to practice some Icelandic with the owners. In general the ambiance in this hostel is really warm and friendly!

One night I was woken up by some drunk people. But that's not the fault of the hostel.

Great hostel and I loved the boot dryer!!!!

Really nice hostel, they also have an amazing boot dryer which was very popular and much appreciated as my boots were soaked when I arrived. They provide tea and coffee and a great breakfast in the morning. The hostel felt very homely and enjoyed hanging out with the other guests. It's a bit of a walk down the hill (and back up) to the main town but if you're in a car really easy to find and plenty of parking.

Convenient and “homey”

have stayed here twice, same room both times. looks like some renovations have been done since our last visit. great location, easy to find, quiet, facilities are great, kitchen available. A very nice and “typical” hostel environment.

Amazing

everything was amazing. The cabin with confortable beds, cute little kitchen, hot bathroom, with an incredible view.

we could not manage to lock the cabin.

Definitely recommend this place!

It’s a super friendly place to be! Absolutely feels like home. Such a pity we couldn’t stay longer. There’s a big kitchen for guests to use, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, notes everywhere so it’s easy to understand the rules and other stuff.

I would never repeat this hostel

Good breakfast

Hostel for aprox 50 people with just 2 showers (the third one was being reformed) and 4 WC (2 of them with the showers and 1 without door). They leave you the sheets to make your own bed. Very expensive for the services.
