A great few days in Trapani. Highly recommended.

The amazing view and the central location made this a really special stay.

The numerous flights of stairs were a struggle at times for two older ladies, but the winch to assist with baggage was wonderful, thanks to the kindness of our host and the generous Annalise.

Kde začít? Všechno bylo perfektní. Krásný byt ve třetím patře se třemi místnostmi (dvě ložnice a velký světlý obývací pokoj s kuchyňským koutem) a nádherným výhledem na moře a z malého balkonu na historickou část města. Ač jsme byli v centru Trapani, v noci zde byl klid, a ráno se dal z balkonku pozorovat východ slunce. Byt byl skvěle vybavený, včetně myčky, pračky, kávovaru i připravených kapslí, nic nám nechybělo, a Marina, úžasná a milá hostitelka, nám při příjezdu připravila překvapení - v lednici velkou vodu, malé pivo a mléko. Hned za rohem od domu, kde jsme bydleli, je navíc pekárna se skvělým pečivem, nedaleko samoobsluha a též pěší zóna s obchody a restauracemi. Na městskou pláž jsme to měli čtyři minuty chůze, přístup do moře byl pozvolný, pláž s tmavším pískem. Pobyt v Trapani byl krásný a neradi jsme odjížděli.

Nic, musíme se vrátit. :-)

Amazing

Nice, big, clean apartment with stunning view. Near the city centrum, just on the corner bakery, few minutes walk - restaurants, cafes. Just 10-15 min walking distance to bus stop to Erice or to airport. The apartment has all the necessary equipment for cooking, a coffee machine. Very easy and quick communication with owner.

Everything was wonderful. The host, Marina, was very helpful with the two problems I had to self check in (just in case this is helpful to other travelers, let me mention that: 1. Google maps has the apartment marked in a slightly wrong spot. It does not face the little square. If you're standing in front of the #16 there, look to your right and that's where the real via Botteghelle starts and the numbers soon go down to the real #16. 2. Once you get a code that opens two doors - if someone left the first of these doors open, the code won't open the second one. You have to close the first door for the code to work.), and ended up coming in person to help me. Herself and a friend even got my suitcase up the stairs via a pulley-like contraption. Even though for me it was fun to practice Italian, Marina speaks excellent English and is very responsive and communicative. She's also very helpful with directions and suggestions. The apartment itself... What can I say, you walk in and see this amazing view and just want to stay there. You don't just see the sea, you can also hear it. You get beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and the balcony may be tiny, but it's possible to put a chair there and just sit and enjoy the beauty. The apartment has everything you might need - a coffee maker, a bottle of water, carton of milk and even a little bottle of beer in the fridge, a washing machine that's easy to use etc etc. I've seen a review that mentioned no drying rack. This is absolutely not true. I'm pretty sure I've seen an indoor one folded up, but also, as anywhere in Italy, if you want to find a drying rack, just look outside the windows. I found one outside the window of one of the bedrooms. There weren't any toiletries in the bathroom, but that was no problem for me, I had my own. The location is great, not only close to the sea but also to what ended up being one of my favorite restaurants in town, Antichi Sapori.

We truly fell in love with Casa di Clara. The view was spectacular!! The location was perfect for walking the sea wall, restaurants close by, easy walk to the centre. Very nice to have extra space & comfortable seating. First accommodation that had English TV which was much appreciative on a wet stormy night. Also, checkin was very quick & simple & Marina was very helpful!

Its not really a dislike b/c Casa di Clara doesn’t have control over the parking situation in the old centre. Free parking was available 350 meters from the apartment & was an easy, flat walk.

The location is spectacular as the appartment has views over the bay. It is close to the port, excellent eateries and bars. The appartment is modern and welcoming and has everthing you need. Felt sad leaving as it is a gem. Marina, the host was exceptional in providing information and assistance whenever we needed it. Highly recommend this location and host.

There is no elevator so can be difficult taking large luggage up to the third floor. We managed well, a good form of exercise for us and the appartment is worth the climb. A suggestion for the host is to install some roller blinds over the door and window over looking the bay which can be quickly rolled away for the view but will keep the lounge/dining room cool during the day when one is out sightseeing. Save on air conditiong too. I can understand why one would not have blinds as when tou enter the appartment the view takes one's breath away!

Absolutely perfect! The location, Marina and everything!,

Location was the best- in Old Town, everything in walking distance. Super great for watching the Good Friday processions. Everyone in nearby restaurants and shops were very welcoming. Marina helped us with directions and shopping suggestions. The apartment overlooked the sea and a promenade below. The bedrooms were comfy and lots of living space with large picture windows, including a kitchen. Four flights up but after our 4 days there we were in shape! A marvelous experience and hope to return. Perfect stay!

Peaceful waves and views at a classy seaside apartment

Without a doubt, this was the best place we stayed during our trip in Sicily! I would love to come back for at least a week and let it work its magic a bit longer. The views were breathtaking and so relaxing, and having morning coffee in the sun on the terrace listening to the waves was unforgettable. The apartment itself is spacious and classy, and was stocked with all the right things (scissors, laundry rack), with a few extras to get us started (water, coffee pods), which we really appreciated. When we were there, it was also nice and quiet, with no noise from neighbors or outside the windows at all.

A good parking lot, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, is a bit far away, so it might be good to park nearby, drop off bags and walk back. (The parking lot is inexpensive, but not completely free, so don't forget to put a ticket on your windshield, which we didn't realize!)

We loved the beautiful view of the water and having a nice glass of wine.

Bella vista e bella casa!!! Well designed place, comfortable, clean and well kept. The casa is conveniently located in walking to many dining locations and shops so we did not have to use the car much. Host was truly hospitable. We are looking forward to our next trip and will definitely choose this place again. Thank you for everything.

I wished we had stayed longer. I don't have any complaints.
