Bestes Hostel in Lagos😍😍

Mega coole Vibes, sehr familiär, nicer chillout bereich. Das perfekte kater frühstück von mama zubreietet "you got a plate , you got a crepe"👍 weil die leute und die vibes so genial waren war ich statt 3 tage eine ganze woche im hostel. Vielen Dank an das ganze stuff und mama 😁🐓

Leider hab ich erst am ende erfahren das man herd mitbenutzen darf nachdem ich nachgefragt habe.

Absolutely worth the stay and I would love to come back

I would go back and not just for Mama's delicious crepes in the morning. Hostels are complicated sometimes and it is not easy to create a space that is comfortable and invites people to chat and hang out with each other but The Rising Cock Hostel did great. Even though it is a Party Hostel, it is also quiet enough if you need to relax a bit ( of course it always depends on the people surrounding you) Every night there is a free pub crawl you can join, whenever you want, because they communicate their location always over the WhatsApp group. I was there in the off-season, so I guess it was a bit more quiet but I had a blast and met amazing people I spent the days with. Mama has always some tips if you need some and so far, the beds are the most comfortable hostel beds, I´ve ever slept in. It is funny to see all the different beddings and prints for the beds, it gives the entire room a different charm and makes it feel homey also.

The bathrooms are really dark and often not the cleanest but it is more the circumstances of the people and the build of the house.

There’s better places to stay

The only good thing about the hostel was the location because it was near the beach and the city centre.

The room was dingy. The beds didn’t have curtains so there was absolutely no privacy. The bathroom didn’t have a lock. I didn’t have a good experience. On my last night there someone brought a guest in the middle of the night because of which I couldn’t sleep and he was literally there till morning. I think I started disliking Lagos the moment I entered the hostel. Would not recommend

The bed was a bit hard and a tad difficult with the stairs (I had the top bunk bed).

Great breakfast Fun pub crawl every night where you easily can meet all the other travellers Kind and helpful staff

Metal beds with average mattresses, no curtains and no power outlets by the beds Showers are often out of warm water during peak shower time in the afternoon

Amazing people, comfortable stay, GREAT VIBES

Amazing stay! Staff is super friendly and welcoming, planning tons of different activities. Other guests were really nice and social, which made it easy to make friends. Rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were super clean too! Breakfast is also amazing!! Honestly things couldn’t have been better, and I’d recommend Rising Cock to anyone looking to have a good time in Lagos!

Our time in Lagos will long live in our memory because of the Hostel itself. Everyday there were activities that we took part and thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfasts were amazing and so were the staff members.

great spot for solo travelers to meet people with warm staff that make you feel at home.

One work. crepes. Mommas crepes were the reason I stayed so long! very friendly staff and they organize a pub crawl every night if that’s your thing.

it’s a party hostel so you would get woken up every night. but that is to be expected! rooms didn’t have great ventilation.

great spot to meet people as a solo traveler with a killer breakfast.

mommas crepes are amazing! would come just for that experience again. I already miss those mornings. as a solo traveler it was nice to have a good breakfast every morning with someone who makes you feel like family.

party hostel so people are always coming in and out, rooms aren’t that clean, little ventilation in rooms which makes it hard to dry things.

The location and price are really good. They do a lot of fun things for youth people. The most I liked are the morning crepes of course

Mama is a good woman! I loved her crepes every morning. She was incredibly welcoming and so helpful with any question I had. I like the quirky rooms and the hostel providing activities every night.

Our room lacked ventilation so it got a bit stuffy and stinky.

Party hostel - as you'd expect

Staff was nice and friendly. If you are solely interested in having party, this is an option, otherwise look elsewhere.

Facilities need to be refurbished, common areas close pretty early.

do not book here! I had to leave & book somewhere else! I want a complete refund since I could not stay there!

the property was so dirty bedding not changed bathroom you could not use health hazard no locker for belongings no toilet paper, no staff to help with problems they are just gone! I had to leave & book another place! I want a complete refund! There are also bed bugs at this place do not book! I stay at lots of great hostels this was not a normal hostel experience!

The breakfast with Mamma's crepes was amazing! There's a pub crawl every night.

50 EUR per night for a dorm bed, that's outrageous! Except for the nice breakfast it is really just a basic hostel without any luxuries, which would be expected at this price.

Very good

Great party hostel, I came solo and immediately made friends. Breakfast was good in the morning. They also do lots of activities to bring people at the hostel together. I did the bar crawl and had a blast.
