location and view are awesome. great communication for our arrival.
The front door was very difficult to unlock, I was afraid that I was going to break the key off. The bidet nozzle kept falling off.

The view is simply unbeatable. I was here to work while also getting in some vacation time and man, I gotta tell you, working from that balcony is just gorgeous. And it *sounds* amazing at night when the town is quiet and you want to relax with a glass of wine and listen to the ocean.
We did have one small issue with the hot water but they responded right away and had it sorted quickly.
I've seen some other folks' reviews here about the linens being old, but I really don't agree. The place definitely had a "lived in" feel - like you could tell other fellow travelers had lived there and left some things behind (books in Dutch, etc), but I actually really liked that part. It's not a sterile hotel environment, people have lived there over the years, and some of the things they leave behind let you share in some of their journey in some small way, even though you'll never meet them, which I really enjoyed. It's pretty standard for this type of beach house in Lagos.
The beds are clean and comfortable, so I'm not sure what other people are talking about there - but beds are a pretty personal-taste thing, so I guess I can understand if they were too soft/hard for other people. That's a chance you take literally any time you travel tho.
There were TONS of appliances - even ice cube trays, my fellow Americans will be glad to hear! Two immersion blenders, lots of cookware, everything you could need. The clothes washer was a little hard to figure out, but that's just because appliances in Portugal are different than in the U.S., so that's obviously not their fault. (We looked up the manual online and figured it out just fine.) Plenty of clothespins to dry everything out in the sun on that gorgeous balcony with the large clothes drying rack they provided.
These things are SO minor, they're barely worth mentioning, other than a heads up for people working *and* vacationing, like we were.
- No power outlet on the balcony - at least not one I could locate. That's not a big deal for *most* folks, but if you're expecting to work out there for 8 hours, make sure you bring an extension cord, because you want to use that view every second you're there!
- It's definitely on a bit of a hill (that's how you get that amazing view), so things like wheelchair or crutch accessibility might be an issue for some. It's *not* profoundly steep for anyone whose ankles are working correctly, just happened to be a little difficult for me since I had just severely sprained my ankle. If you have a car or are not on crutches, this would likely become a non-issue.

Perfect location. One of the most beutifull beaches that you can see from the balcony. You can also enjoy sunrise from the balcony. Quiet and safe area. You can get to downtown by 10 minutes walk.
Some things needs to be replaced (like bathroom rugs and towels. This is the only place they asked for a deposit and everyone's passport information.

the view is amazing. very close to the city centry. The pool is great and large! Beach just 2 mins from the appartment.

The location was great, right above one of the best beaches. Awesome view and veranda. Facilities around the apartment were nice, pool, store, restaurant.
The apartment is very outdated, needs new linens, towels and bedding. Furniture is outdated, overpriced for the lack of upkeep to the apartment.

Wonderful location, great view overlooking the beach & cliffs of Praia Dona Ana which enhanced the experience of staying on the Algarve. Direct access to the beach, 20 minute walk to Lagos along the ocean & river or through the town. Supermarket 5-10 minute walk. Well equipped apartment, comfortable, huge balcony. Quiet & safe complex. Overall a wonderful stay at Silver Moon & Lagos.
