No food available at location. Though this was advertised prior to booking so not a surprise.
Location was on a very busy road and parking was limited.

Can only say it was convenient as we were going on a cruise and it had parking.
Felt a bit jail like through the metal gate (but it did feel safe) through another door before getting to our room. Noisy not much soundproofing.

Clean and friendly

Really modern, clean rooms. Self contained at the back of the pub. Great for easy access to Southampton and the ferry ports.

Convenient location. Friendly staff at check in
The room smelled extremely musty and mouldy. It made it very uncomfortable and unpleasant

There was no breakfast
We arrived to find that a 40th birthday party had been booked in the room below us and the (very loud) music and karaoke didn't finish until 12 midnight and the subsequent emptying of the venue and clearing up went beyond 1pm. If we had known this before we arrived we would have booked elsewhere - why were we not told?

Lady very friendly and welcoming 😊
Every think was ok for us

it’s was so clean and smelt clean too, the staff where lovely and made us feel very welcome.
nothing not to like

Everything was great.
To improve I would have liked the bathroom to be in the same room as the room I was staying in rather than have to leave the room to go into another room.
It made me feel as though I was in a public bathroom and had people cueing outside waiting to get in.
Also multi times I nearly forgot to take the key outside with me to get into the bathroom which would had resulted in me not being able to go back in my room.
Honestly these are not huge issues, just kind suggestions which would make the stay better for future guests.
The WiFi was a great feature to have however I feel the connection should have been better.
My phone kept disconnecting from the WiFi because the network was poor which resulted in me using my mobile data.
If I was to Rate my stay at The Swan Inn it would definitely be a 9 out of 10
Very clean, tidy, cosy and I felt very welcomed by staff.

It was awesome. AND they have a nice giftshop where you are able to buy different this round about “The Swan Inn” :-). It was so beautiful and on the other side the road at the Garage you can buy some baps or sandwiches.
The parking space is infront of the house and for free.

the women this morning shouting and screaming at us plus didn’t tell us the check out time we’re not fluent in english and we’re both dyslexic so we found it rude

I quite enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend
a friend and would visit again...!!
The window needs to be a bit more sound 🔊 proof..I can hear the passing traffic from inside when the windows are fully closed..!!

It’s a quite nice stay.
Well other than the location everything was alright.

Lovely lady most helpful re where to eat and providing menues
Unhappy that no breakfast was provided and this was not clear. Could have stayed in southhampton for half the price with breakfast but by the time I received confirming information it was gone
Room comfortable with new furnishings etc
Very noisy as on main road but the Bar is quiet. Other occupants coming and going through main entrance woke me up at 2am, 4am and 5 am.
Easy return of keys but nowhere to wait for a collection
Lovely local green walk at Millars Pond. The Millars pond pub served fabulous hot rock gammon and steak. Excellent but a noisy local pub on a friday night
3.5
The room was minimalist and looked quite modern. The bed was comfy and it had a big TV and the required tea & coffee facilities. There were also shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. The owner checked us in and was very friendly.
The lighting in the room was quite dull and found it difficult to see when trying to get ready. The tap lever fell off and I needed to fix it back in place. There were cobwebs in the corners of the room and the floor made a cracking and creaking noise when walking on it so the other one of us was generally woken by the noise of getting up in the night. Overall the quality was OK but the price made me expect more.

Made to feel very welcome and the room etc spotless.
Being a bit pedantic, not a fan of shared bathroom and toilet.
