Très décevant

La vue est vraiment magnifique

Appartement pas propre du tout... On l avait choisi pour ce critères sur booking mais une fois sur place c était consternant. Tous les équipements sont egalement vétustes, abîmé ou déchirés bref pas du tout agréable comme endroit.

great view of the ocean and beach, 2 swimming beaches within 300m away, plenty of restaurants around, a checkers and a spar near by. braai facilities, a swimming pool, great fishing spots near by. security is excellent, felt very safe. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. The unit has 2 bathrooms with showers that my semi disabled parents could easily get in and out of. There is a board walk along the beaches that my Mom could walk on which is level, the ramp from the pedestrian gate to the board walk is a little bit steep but manageable (about 4.5m long with a 1m incline). The balcony has a roof so we could sit outside and watch he ocean all day whether it rained or it was very sunny. The unit has an inverter that lasted the full 4 hours of loadshedding we had. The inverter only powers the tv and wifi but there are rechargeable battery lamps provided. We were extremely happy :)

The building has a generator that keeps lights on around the complex during load shedding but the elevators don't work which could leave a disabled person stranded for a some time, make sure you check the load shedding schedule for the day and it won't affect you. bring a few extra battery lamps and power banks for load shedding. a small gas stove for the unit would be nice too so we could make coffee during load shedding.

From the owner to the staff, it was ...excellent service Recommend to everyone ... Clean and comfortable everything you need catered for... Location is right on the beach.. We had access to beach from the apartment The lifts were functional The self-check in was painless

A month has passed since checking out, still waiting for the refundable deposit of R1 500.00 I stayed for 1 night without any breakages

Perfect Location. Beautiful view. Clean apartment.

Although it is self-catering, it would be nice to have a few sachet of coffee, sugar, milk or water in the fridge on arrival. (Atleast for one cup per person) The UPS is very old, after power failure it only lasted for about 15 minutes. new inverter is going to cost you about 10k, but will be able to power the TV for atleast 5 hours. The old inverters also takes more electricity to charge - and they dont last long. It is also costing you more in the long run. Newly painted walls, but the place did smell odd though as the walls were freshly painted. (Beautiful ;) Overall, I will stay there again. The view is just gorgeous. I will recommend this place.

Balito are very clean it was not as crowded as other beaches. Our stay was exceptional we had everything we need.

Most of the attractions was riding distance from where we stayed. Balito needs a Waterpark.

Value for money with a view to die for.

The location was excellent, right on the beach, the Apartment was spacious and it has an invertor. It is well equipped and we had everything we needed. We would book there again in winter.

The bottles of shampoo in the bathrooms were both empty. cleanliness could have been better. there are no aircons so would not book there in summer, but it was absolutely fine as we stayed there in winter.

Perfect getaway!

The unit was ultra clean. Had everything one needs. Beds so comfy. The view is amazing with a large patio with a table and comfy couches. My definite go to in Ballito.

The linen are hotel quality and super soft. Cleanliness 100% Great to have inverter with load shedding.

The crockery and cutlery needs to be checked and updated, a lot of odd numbers and sink drip holder is rusted and dirty, should be replaced with a fresher one. The remote for the kitchen fan was missing and we were told a remote had been ordered, we had a few very hot days.

I would not recommend this unit to anyone, seeing this hostess is only in it for the money, and has all these rules and

Excellent location with a sea view and access to the beach.

The fact that we did not have any hot water to shower in. The hostess was aware of the fact that there was a water issue, but knowingly decided not to inform us before hand that there was an issue. She knew we had two kids (one is 6mo) she decided not to tell us there is no hot water to bathe in. The hostess had the audacity to chase us out of the unit before 10am the next morning so she can accommodate the next guests whom is arriving at 1pm, also knowing they won’t have any hot water.

wonderful stay, but not what we expected of such a high en property

The view and the location was excellent

maintenance is neglected. The drawers in the main bedroom need new sliders. Some throws have to be replaced Lighting overall in the flat is insufficient, especially in the kitchen The en suite bathroom is very small Bath mats on the bedside are uncomfortable and rumples all the time Loadshedding is a reality and tourism will have to adapt. A gas hob is essential as well as a small installation of battery and inverter to provide lights, internet and tv. (speaking from experience) Cleanliness is good, but I had to find a pill that rolled under the bed - not good We booked 4 days but housekeeping came only for 1 day, because of the weekend. At our villa that we rent out, we have housekeeping every day, including doing dishes and not a huge extra cleaning fee afterwards. Staff rotate to get days off

A beach home

Accommodation is as pictured. Beautiful with a stunning view. There are things that make the stay even more comfortable ie. Having a beach umbrella available made staying on the beach for hours so easy and made my holiday even more special. It's a true home away from home with ample space for a family...again did I mention the views? Beach is just outside the apartment. Overall a lovely home and lovely host.

Uber in the area wasn't efficient at certain times and for shorter trips. Complex is older but inside the apartment you can clearly see that the host has done work to modernise as best as possible.

location was wonderful

guests are treated like boarders at school - constantly reminded to not put a foot wrong or you’ll loose your deposit. atmosphere of having to walk on eggshells, else you’ll loose money or will be fined.
