Great vacation location! Beautiful home! Very comfortable. Love the welcome bag with goodies for the stay.

The property was perfect! We could not have been more happy with the area. Steps from the beach and bay, with a short walk to shops and restaurants. The home was completely comfortable and homey.

Home was clean and well supplied... we appreciated being able to stay with flexible date scheduling and not having tonstay a full week.. Location was nice to access the Pier street shops and food. The only downfall for us was the proximity to to public beech and how busy that area was... however, that is a prefernce to dor us.

Location was great! Right next to bus and beach. Kids loved the pool! Steps away from the beach! House was very clean. I would stay there again. My only complaint was the front bedroom was near the air conditioner which was very loud.

Thank you for the hospitality of our booking! Very nice place and close to the beach.

Great location with both gulf and sound just steps away, quiet neighborhood. The listing did not specify that another unit was attached upstairs with the pool/backyard being a shared space, but this was fine as it was only occupied for a few days during our stay.

Such a great location and cute nostalgic feeling of old Florida. Easy walk to the beach. Had everything we needed. Can’t wait till next year to come again!!

This place was perfect for our little family’s spring break. The place was clean and cozy, the temperature controls worked well so it was always very comfortable, the semi-private backyard pool (that we shared only with the family upstairs) was also very comfortable, the kitchen was very usable, the in-unit washer/dryer was wonderful, and the location was incredibly convenient to the beach and the “main street” restaurants. This was my family’s first time to Anna Maria Island, and we plan to come back and hope to stay at this house again!

Wanted to enjoy AMI for Spring Break and found this little gem of a property. Loved the proximity to the beach (beach access directly across Gulf Dr…literally like a 1 minute walk) and the fact that it had a cute pool to enjoy when the rest of the crew wasn’t quite ready to head out. We had 2 teen girls and me and my husband. Plenty of room for us all and great to have the 2 baths for the group. The kitchen was fully appointed, there were 2 outdoor propane grills for meals in. And for dining out, there were plenty of great restaurants within comfortable walking distance (5 min). Loved our stay!

Our boat was being repaired. So we stayed here instead of a hotel. Short answer we would do it again.

Great cottage for our family. We rented the lower level . Loved the area and easy beach access. People renting the upstairs unit were not with us, but there were 4 adults with no kids so no issues. But I can see where others say you can hear every thing upstairs .. flushing toilets, washing machine. One recommendation…Time to upgrade the mattresses. Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch. Looking forward to renting again. Ohhh and our daughter got engaged on this trip! Lovey photos of the newly engaged couple using the cottage and the backyard as the backdrop. 😊

Perfect location to shops, beach and the kids loved the backyard pool.

We like the location of this to the beach and also to Bridge street. We had family upstairs too. A couple things the back deck isn’t good for young children with no rail, we love the buzzer on the back door, but the front door isn’t good for small kids, they can open the front door very easily. More bathroom towels would have been nice. However we were very pleased and had a great stay

My family and I truly enjoyed our vacation. The home was super cute and clean, very close to the beach. The only thing that I wish it worked was the heated pool, only one out of our 4 nights the pool was warm. Other than that we had a great time!

This rental was everything we were looking for as a family. Clean, comfortable, great location and so much more. Just a short walk across the street to the beach and a few houses from the bay gave us the best of both worlds. We would definitely book again!

Loved the private pool and backyard. Lovely front porch for morning coffee. Quick walk to the dock or the beach. Close to everything you’d need- walking or trolley! Nice that family has the upstairs unit. Only slightly odd thing- owner was around a bit including using the outdoor shower once- a bit awkward. would stay here again!

The property was just as advertised. The accommodations were comfortable and the location to the beach and restaurants was perfect. Trolley stop right by the property was an unexpected bonus.

This was the worst vacation stay I've ever had. Location was great (beach is across the street) but the house was awful. You can hear everything (and I mean EVERYthing) the people in the unit above do - everystep they take, walking up the stairs into thier unit, flushing the toilet day and in the middle of the night, laundry, showering, talking, fighting, kids crying, everytime the bed creaks... I could go on and on.
Contrary to VRBO’s commercials that are on TV all the time that clearly state the entire home is all yours THIS IS A SHARED HOME - IT IS AN OLD HOUSE THAT HAS BEEN RENO'D. DO NOT EXPECT A QUIET NIGHT EVER unless no-one has rented the upper unit.
2 Other factors to deter you:
1. the cleaning fee is high for a 1.5 hour cleaning
2. Large NON Refundable deposit. There is nothing in this unit worth anything close to the amount - is all junk.

Housecleaning
There is a substantial charge for cleaning yet management asks you to launder towels, strip beds and do the dishes. I believe this is something the cleaning service can easily handle

Dolphin and manatee heaven.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay.
Location was ideal very short walk to beach,
Pool was perfect for the grand kids and home was stocked with a nice supply of towels. The Washer and dryer were a life saver with little kids.
Only suggestion would be to restock pots /pans and install garbage disposal.
Definitely recommend.

Great Location & Beautiful House
Walk out the front door and see the water to your left and the beach to your right was truly amazing. We all enjoyed a wonderful stay in the lovely decorated house and heated pool, along with lots to do. I was amazed at how close everything was! There was even a Farmers Market on Wednesday! Great vacation! Thank you!

Excellent house on Anna Maria Island
Loved the house with its pool and front porch as well as the location right between the dock on the waters facing Florida for morning sunrises and dolphins swimming by....then ending the day with sunsets on the other side at the beach. Lovely time!

Rustic/ cozy house
Classic “old Florida “ feel. Clean and easy. As advertised. Older house with all of the character shown on line. As with any older house, something always needs attention, but the location was great. Beach is right across the road-no need to pack a cooler, shopping and restaurants only blocks away.
Overall, a very good experience.

Not as described
Let's start of by saying this is a two story house that was converted into two units, with Al's dream house on the bottom and Angie's place on the second floor. The unscreened front porch looks out onto a road which is less than 10 yards away. All you can see are cars driving by, construction and foot traffic, there are no views of the beach or ocean breezes. The quick walk to the ocean is actually a death defying walk across a 2 lane highway with bumper to bumper traffic; and I mean bumper to bumper. People stop to let you cross, but crossing with a 6 year old and 10 year old gave me heart palpitations. The beach was extremely packed and I thought I stumbled into a concert to include beer bottles on the ground, and enough weed smoking to get Snoop Dogg high. The condo and the pool are extremely small and believe me nothing like the pictures. On Sunday night the guests upstairs decided to check in 3:15 AM and let me tell you the walls are so thin we could literally hear their conversation and even better their young children were running around like a track meet, every single person was woken up by the noise. This continued for over 40 minutes then they finally went to sleep. At 615 AM our lovely new upstairs neighbors had a cell phone alarm go off for 30 plus minutes so again everyone was right back up. My family all met up in the front room and made the decision to leave. We spent the rest of the morning looking for another place to book asap. We would have left sooner however couldn't find a place until the next day. We packed up and left at 5:00AM the next morning, ending our paid for accommodations for our trip 5 days early. This was by far the worst experience I have had with vacation rental.

Gamer Weekend at theBeach House
A bunch of us spent the week swimming, sunbathing, and playing games at our favorite beach. Al and Angie's Dreams was the perfect house for us. There is plenty of space to get together as a group, and comfortable rooms, decks, porches and balconies to escape to for quiet time while enjoying the views. We will be back for sure!

Serenity found
We visit Anna Maria Island at least once a year. We have rented the same property the last couple times. We love the property and the location. We have a nice pool in the back and just across the street from the ocean. Everything was perfect. We have more family that rent a couple other houses near by but everyone hangs out at our place. The smell of the ocean, the sound of the waves has such a relaxing affect. We have only been back for a week and I’m already missing it.

Beachy heaven - but a sad life occurrence
We absolutely loved staying here. Friends came to visit us and loved it too. The house is perfectly appointed. As another reviewer mentioned, a small cupboard would be an excellent addition to the kitchen to store groceries in.
But to be across from the beach, have our own pool, be near restaurants & shopping was just wonderful. Being able to do laundry on-site let us pack lightly. We even went to the local Moose Lodge!
Unfortunately, we had a life-changing crisis and did not get to enjoy the last few days - my husband had a massive heart attack and ended up at Blake Memorial Hospital where he received 4 stents and excellent care. We have changed our return plans to NY by way of Amtrak since he cannot fly now, and are staying at a local hotel until he is cleared.
It is my hope to return one day to Al’s Dream and have an entire week of relaxation ❤️❤️❤️

Perfect Location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location could not be more perfect. We loved the pool too and so appreciated that it is heated! While overall the property has been recently renovated, the creature comforts need some attention. It is definitely time to replace the mattresses and the kitchen items need some replacing too. A comforter on the beds would be nice too, especially during the winter months (at least the option of a blanket to put on the beds). However, the beach & bath towels were in great condition & plentiful.

We had a wonderful time. The property was clean and a bottle of antiseptic spray was left for our use. Location was perfect for beaches, restaurants and Bridge St. The pool was a bonus at the end of the day. We will return.

Gem of a place.
Great location right across the street from the beach and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The place was very clean and decorated very beach.y. The pool area was nice but pool. small. We were lucky and had the place all week to ourselves. If your main goal is the beach, this is a gem. I would bring a good umbrella next time. We found an awesome restaurant from a local called the. Cortez Clam Factory, food was great and a big variety. It’s across the bridge on Cortez about 4 miles. Great place to stay.

Ideal Location
Just what I was looking for. Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The pool and patio area with the outdoor shower were great. We especially enjoyed being able to sit on the benches around the inside of the pool and socialize over cocktails while staying cool and soaking up the sun. We would definitely rent this property again.

The location of the house was amazing. It was right across the street from the beach. We walked to the beach every day and the beaches were not crowded at all. The locals and life guards were great in helping out of different places to explore. The only issues we had that the people on the second floor trashed the pool. After calling the properly manager; they got someone out right away to take away the cloudiness of the water and make it swim able. The other issue we had were ants in the kitchen. Couldn't figure out where they were coming from. Maybe for future rentals; the rental company might put out something on the porches to help with the mosquitoes. Other than that; it was a great location and would go back again.
