- Please be aware that the interior stairs are steep and may not be safe for young children.
- Please be aware that a landscaper comes to the property every Monday and services the home for 6-8 hours. Does have to access inside the home to water a few larger planters in the living room area.
- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Outdoor wood firepits are prohibited by the City of Encinitas. Guests found using wood-burning devices will be fined starting at $500
​​​​​​​- Please note, we do not allow shipping or deliveries of parcels to any of our properties since we do not have access to mailboxes, and cannot guarantee delivery, receipt, or protection of your items at the property.
- No rooftop access allowed.
- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- Please note that guests are not permitted to bring their own grill or charcoal, as doing so can damage the exterior landscaping.

This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice. Just ask and we are happy to accommodate you and your little ones!

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

Plenty to do, fantastic location and great sleeping arrangements for kids and adults alike. Everything we needed was intuitively available, and management was easily reached for questions that arose during our stay. We've already recommended it to friends!

We had a great time with friend and family celebrating two significant birthdays and Celebrating England Winning the soccer and progressing to the next round of the Euros. We would 100% come back, great spot, great pool, great facilities, everything worked, everything was clean. If i had to comment on one small point, the living room needs a bigger TV but apart from that Perfect for a gathering of friends and Family

My family and I stayed at the Beachcomber for five days and had a wonderful time. With young kids it was very convenient to many local attractions - Legoland, San Diego Zoo Safari Park and a walk to the beach. The house itself was great and had everything we needed to start our stay. Although the pool is not heated you can heat the hot tub portion; it heats up quickly. The bedroom and bath layout served our family well. You do have to watch small children around the stairs; we used a few chairs to block access while we all were in the very large living/dining/kitchen area. All is all it was perfect for us.

Excellent area. Great property. We had a wonderful time. Easy access to market, restaurants and beach. Only issue was poor internet access due to the house having concrete walls. Gaming or streaming for the kids was difficult. Otherwise great property.

Son’s wedding in Escondido and this property was the only negative. Location and gardens of property were excellent BUT the house has been neglected and was unclean and photos did not portray the true state of the home. I provided 20 photos of the issues to Avant Stay. Avant Stay offered to send maintenance but honestly most of the issues could not be resolved by their crew. Grimey moldy floors, blood stains over rug and blanket (we ended up removing from property), leaky showers, leaky washing machine, rickety curtains and beds, keypad stopped working, pool flooring was gross, outside kitchen shown in photos not operational. This is just a few things on the list. I feel honestly deceived and immensely disappointed.

The house was overall good. It’s an old house that’s probably been through a few renovations. There were a lot of spider webs on the patio furniture. The downstairs bedroom smelled very musky. We had to air it out. The beds were firm which I liked. The kitchen was well equipped though they ran out of regular coffee. The property manager was a little slow to respond though always did and helped get answers to my questions.
