Tucked away just off the main road, this recently renovated character two level villa is a stunner. The villa has been equipped with all the mod cons and is set amidst two acres of beautiful gardens with its own golf hole. Warm up for the range of world class courses around Mangawhai or just have a bit of family fun.
Perfect for large family gatherings, corporate retreats or golfing groups, with three generous king size rooms and three cozy loft-style rooms (please note the roof height in these loft rooms is lower than normal stud height) and two bathrooms downstairs and one up. Configuration of super king and king single beds can be changed to suit your group, from six super kings to one super king and ten king singles .
Entertain in the stylish covered alfresco dining/barbeque area or relax in the living area, with 75 SMART TV with Soundbar and Netflix, TVNZ, TV3, Youtube, and Plex (Plex offers more than 1500 movies and is up to date with new releases). There is also a 40 smart TV in the dining area that can be watched from the kitchen or dining room and has the same apps as the main living room TV.
Great for a winter escape too, crank up the fireplace or relax in the sauna.
Perfectly located for everything Mangawhai has to offer, nothing is more than a 10 minute drive away.

IMPORTANT NOTE: 19th Par 2's park-like ground have a pond which is up to a couple of feet deep in places. It is not suitable for mobile toddlers and small children should be supervised at all times while outside. Please assess the suitability for your children before booking.
LINEN: Please note that other than pillows, duvets and duvet covers, linen is not included in the tariffs but can be rented for $25 per person, further details are provided in the 'Rooms and beds' section of the listing. If you wish to add linen, please add a note to your booking with what beds you wish to use so they can be made up. We have linen as an optional extra to make a more affordable holiday for those who wish to bring their own.
BOOKING PAYMENT: Although Bookabach/VRBO take your credit card details, all booking payments are made to Bach Stay NZ Limited who manage this property for the owners. Once your booking is approved, we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges). Please note the amount stated as 'Deposit Paid at Property' on the Bookabach/VRBO quote is actually a refundable bond that will be collected as part of the accommodation payment, it is not collected at the property as the wording suggests.

We had family ranging from 6 to 76 staying at the bach. It has so many amenities and so much space that everyone had an amazing time. We enjoyed the use of the Sauna and the kids played a lot of golf. Will definitely be back

The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and well equipped. Two of the bedrooms where huge with large windows. The upstairs bedrooms were almost unusable - expect for children - very steep stairs, low ceiling and were extremely hot. The stay was spoiled by the massive amount of mosquito's despite taken all precautions - plug in, repellant, patches everyone got serverely bitten and made the stay uncomfortable.

We had an amazing time. Our group of 8 ladies enjoyed a weekend away from family, children and pets! We had a fabulous time all around - Sauna such a plus! Everything is newly renovated and the kitchen is just enormous and equipped with everything you need for a larger group. 100% perfect!

This was a good spot for a big group, our golf fans were pretty excited about the putting green and we made good use of the outdoor area. 3 huge rooms but the other 3 were very small. The house is old and dated but if you’re happy with that then it’s fine. In a nice quiet, remote area, we really needed the mozzie spray though!

We all had a great time, the children really enjoyed the golf and swings, the garden is beautiful as are the fruit trees. Older style villa with many quirky features. The beds were very comfortable and the villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The photos don't do the space justice as it's quite big! Well equipped kitchen to be able host your own meals. Would highly reocommend for a big group stay :) Only downside was the filtered tap water tap didn't really work and it wasn't mentioned not to drink just the tap water.

Overall a good experience except the bedding. It was cold and the duvets supplied were very thin. I had to get a local friend to drop us off some blankets. The blinds in one of the bathrooms did not go all the way down and so we sat on the toilet and showered in front of a window to the garden. The lighting in the place was a little too dim which was not so good for playing games, reading or even cooking in the kitchen. However, the setting and size was great. The fireplace was wonderful and needed. We had fun with the golf and had room for all of us comfortably.

Our group of friends really loved this house! Created very happy memories. The mini golf onsite, pétanque in the driveway, all accompanied by the best cocktails. The house is an ideal layout for home entertaining.. we really enjoyed it and would love to return.

Had a few families together for a weekend. House was perfect for this, nice big fireplace with lots of firewood, plenty of seating in dining area. The golf green was a fun way to spend an hour or two whilst having a few beers.

The property is stunning. Generous size bedrooms and the kitchen is very well stocked on utensils. My only complaint is that the listing says there is a Sauna, which we were all very excited about, only to be told it is no longer operational!

Large, spacious and well kitted out, this place is perfect for large groups and families looking for a break away from the city. Close to everything including the shops and the beach, but set back from the main road so you can enjoy your peace and quiet. This was our second time staying here and no doubt we will be coming back again soon. 10 out of 10

Some mosquitos, but lots of repellent and things provided to keep them away. Loved all the fruit trees growing around the property

We loved our stay, as a group of Mums in our 40s enjoying a rare girls weekend away from the husbands and children, it fitted the bill. The Mangawhai markets on Saturday were great! Only critique would be the lack of toilet paper. And shame about the neighbours.
