About this house rental
Imagine waking up with a view of the lake. You can do this from king bedrooms at this beautiful lake front home. Just 50 steps after you pour your coffee until you are relaxing on the dock or maybe you want to wait for the family to wake up and you enjoy a lake view from the porch.
We list and book our home through platforms AirBnB, and Vrbo. Also, we do Direct bookings should you reach out in advance to Ainsley Moyer. We try to keep the pricing as close as possible. Due to service fees and or credit card fees, prices between sites might vary.
Kayaks, Paddle board, water Trampoline (during summer months only) all included! Plus the linens... which is rare at the lake!!!
Our home was originally built 1974 and completed a full remodeled to including a new kitchen, bathrooms, and furnishings March 2019.
This property has lake views from almost EVERY room in the house! In the family room, a 54" Smart TV to stream Netflix with the fam. Off of the living room is the sunroom that offers a spectacular lake view. Off the sunroom is a spacious porch with newly upholstered patio seating and dinning.
The kitchen offers all new high-end appliances, counter seating, and is fully stocked. We have a Keurig, traditional coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, wine openers, wine glasses, baking dishes, pots, pans, flatware and full service for 8. Should you find that you need something additional, call us! Communicating is key!
The main level also includes two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first bedroom is The Master Suite appointed with a beautiful "Fog" upholstery King bed and opens up to the porch that overlooks the lake! The second bedroom offers two sets of twin trundle beds. The trundle room is adjoined to a playroom room. with a football table This space is designed as a place for the kids to have their own space to play games or watch a movie on the 48" Smart TV after a long day swimming in the lake!
On the ground floor is the the third bedroom with a king bed and 3/4 bath and offers a view of the lake! Their is also a room with two double beds! Lots of space to spread out in this amazing lake retreat! Outside these rooms is an additional family area featuring a large 65" Smart TV, 90' Sofa, 8 foot pool table, shuffleboard, and bar table/stools.
Bringing kids? We have busy children of our own! All renovations and updates were made with kids in mind! Their is even a door at the top of the stairs which is great for safety! We have a pack-n-play and a highchair!
Thinking about meals? We have a Weber grill right off the outdoor dinning area to enjoy lake side dinning!
Situated on an almost flat lot you are only steps away from the oversized dock on the lake. We have a large stationary dock and a floater. Plenty of room to tie up your boat. Our listing provides additional info on how and where to rent a boat should you choose to do so! Located just off the main channel on Caddock’s Creek you are protected being in the back of the cove.

We had an amazing weekend! The house was clean and well stocked. The dock was so relaxing for adults and perfect for kids especially with the water trampoline. It was a rainy weekend but we were never bored as we had water activities and fire pit. And inside the

We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. There was high speed internet for work, and many streaming applications for fun. The provided linens and towels were amazing. There were a fully renovated kitchen and bathrooms and there was a high attention to detail for hospitality. The paddle board, kayaks and covered dock seating were excellent for the adults and young. We were close to food, ice cream and wine - what more do you need? Separate porches existed for family privacy and gathering fun. Plan on going back next year.

Our stay at this property was so relaxing. There were six adults, and we all had a great time. The rooms are beautifully decorated and included everything needed for a great get away. The owner responded quickly to each question (even the questions that were answered in the VRBO app!)

The house was clean, had everything we needed, and was much larger than expected. It can easily accommodate 2+ families. The kids enjoyed having their own area in the basement to play pool and watch movies, and my son had fun with the blocks/trains. We brought our own boat, and it was a convenient launch from Mitchell's Point, then a short cruise to the house. We'd love to come back!

This home had the perfect setup for our family get-together configuration; with number of bedrooms, beds, bathrooms, child extras like high chair/toys/packnplay, and activity options like pool table/kayaks. The kitchen had all we needed, furnishings were modern and the "remote" location was peaceful and quiet. We had a lovely fall break.

We enjoyed a long weekend with family. Everyone loved kayaking and fishing off the dock. The bonfire’s at night and game room were a big hit as well. This is a great property!

Home is even more than the pictures describe. Really clean, kitchen is stocked, beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock.
Kitchen had more than enough dishes, flatware, cookware, etc. They even had spices, salt and pepper for cooking. Bedrooms were great sized and closets were large enough for our belongings. There was even a pack and play and high chair. The view of the lake and wild life is amazing. We needed a quiet get away and that is what we got. The kitchen was perfect for us to cook and eat in. Eating at the dining room table gives the ultimate view of the lake. We could eat out on the balcony and relax. There just aren't enough words to describe how happy we were staying at this home.

My friends and I stayed here to enjoy the lake while in the area for a football game. The house is excellent and the host was incredibly responsive. Great location and plenty of amenities. It was the perfect spot for us.

We had a wonderful time! The house is lovely and was perfect for our group of 8 and two small dogs. We rented a pontoon boat which offered a free delivery and pick up straight to the dock! (Smith Mountain Boat Rentals) The house had kayaks and a floating raft which we also loved. We spent a lot of time in the water and on the dock. The pool table was fun in the evening as well as the indoor shuffleboard. Ainsley was quick to answer any questions and very helpful. We would love to stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at this property. The house is fabulous and exactly as advertised. Everything was clean and inviting. The owner was incredibly responsive with a few questions we had. Ours was a cool March stay, and we loved the fire pit and outdoor deck sitting with beautiful views. We will definitely go back to this property. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for Christmas break with a family of seven and had plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the fireplace, having our coffee in the morning overlooking the water and watching so many different types of birds. The pool table and shuffle board games were a plus, we enjoyed playing them with the family. We had everything we needed to cook meals in the kitchen and enjoy them with the family. We didn’t get to use the paddle board or pedal boat because it was to cold outside but it definitely looked like fun to use . We will definitely be back when it’s warmer outside.

We absolutely enjoyed every minute at the beautiful property/
The view of the lake from most rooms in the home provided relaxation without us South Carolinians having to go out in the chill. The outside deck and patios were great in the afternoon sun and dock made catching a few catfish possible!. Beds were comfy, TV and internet great, all you need for a couple families and our two k-9 kids to enjoy Thanksgiving vacation! Thank you for having us!

Four of us women of a certain age stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage was centrally located for what we wanted to do. It had a cover porched and a nice dock with chairs so we could in enjoy the outside together having our glass of wine. We wanted to used the fire pit on the last nite but our plans had to change. All together we enjoyed our stay very much.

We had a wonderful stay! The cover is super quiet and wonderful for a family or anyone looking for a more laid back lake experience. The house was well set up for multiple couples or those with older children. If you like your beds on the firm side, then this is the place for you. Overall we had a very peaceful stay and enjoyed sitting on the dock all week long!

This house is located in a amazing quiet cove with lots of activities including paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing. The house was updated and very well stocked for a perfect getaway. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there but there was so much to keep our family entertained, we didn’t mind it! During the sunny hours we had, the dock and water activities were so much fun and we loved being in on the quiet cove! The house is very nice with lots of space, we would love come back again!

Well-appointed home in a secluded cove with a gentle slope to the water. Had plenty of room. We loved floating in the water and shooting pool in the basement. Definitely recommend for a family.
