Waterfront Memories - A wonderful Convenient Location - This beautiful waterfront home features 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, living room with beautiful wide open views of the lake from the sliding glass doors, eat-in kitchen, den with pool table and 2 laundry areas. This home sleeps 8 comfortably. There is also access to a full size futon and baby bed. Outside has a pull through driveway, covered front porch, double tier deck and large dock with electric. Located on a very quiet dead end street so if you love to take walks or ride bikes this is a great place for your family. 6 Tvs! This beautiful home is located about 3 minutes by water to Waller's and about 5 minutes to Mango's. Located in a cove with very little boat traffic so a great place to float around and swim. Peaceful and beautiful location on the lake. Ryan was very quick with communicating. The house was perfect for our group. There are fewer steps to the lake than some of the other lake houses we have stayed in, not bad at all. We would definitely stay again.

This trip was about fishing. All we did was eat sleep fish. The house was great. Room in the drive for two bass boats and trailers. There is outside power for charging batteries twenty feet away. We did not use the dock. It is 17 minutes to State Park Dock, but only five minutes to smaller Hales Ford Dock. Everything is provided...linens, towels, paper....all the things really tired fishermen don't want to deal with after a day on the lake. So, just show up and fish. I never slept better and contrary to the owner's questionable assessment of his pillows, they were just fine. Everything worked. We had a stressless four days and will return.

Pros: Loved the lake and surroundings. Neighborhood was great, full of deer! House is nice with almost everything you need. Enjoyed the pool table. Nice dock. Cons: 52 stairs to dock (beware if bad knees). Upstairs deck is splintering. Upstairs master bed is extremely squeaky.

The house was very clean and well maintained. It is a lot bigger inside than we expected. Linens were clean and fresh smelling. The dock is great with plenty of room and the cove is very quiet, great for just floating around. Ryan is great, very responsive and answers any and all questions in a timely manner. My son left his necklace and owners called immediately and said they would mail it next day.

It was a wonderful place to stay. The owners were great! We would rent it again. There were only a few things to improve. The dishwasher didn’t get the dishes clean so we washed by hand, but that was ok. The downstairs washer has be run on drain and spin after it washed the clothes because the clothes were still really wet. There was nothing to clean with, so we bought a broom to sweep the place before we left. We’d rate it 4 and a half stars, because it was a great place to stay, and we’d rent it again.

My family/friends had a great time at this property! We played pool on the pool table in the basement and had a great time spending time together! The property was very clean and comfortable! Ryan was quick to respond to messages I sent which was greatly appreciated! We didn’t catch any fish in the lake but we captured great photos of the deer that frequented the front yard and the neighbors yards!! We would definitely consider returning to this property! Well appointed home with lots of space, beautiful basement with pool table, comfy seating and huge bathroom. The home is clean, with good solid furnishings and conveniences (TV in every bedroom, etc...). We had a little trouble getting the key box open, but eventually got it. The deck space is very special and the view of the lake is beautiful. Very Had everything you would need in the kitchen. Bed was really comfortable - we slept great. Shower had great water pressure and hot water. Quiet and well-kept neighborhood. Checked all our boxes! We really enjoyed our stay, had no issues whatsoever and will certainly look to rent this home again when we need to be in Moneta.

We truly enjoyed staying at the lake. The house was great, the owners responded quickly to texts. The fish were elusive but we saw plenty of deer in the yard. It easily accommodated our group with room to spread out.

I will start by saying this host is most accommodating and we so appreciated that! We really enjoyed our stay! The house is located in a quiet area but stores and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away. The downstairs is like having a whole separate apartment which my son really loved. I would suggest bringing extra trash bags with you to take your trash to the dump when you leave.

Nice House on a quiet cove at the lake. Dock and floating doc with chairs. Lots of parking. Kitchen lacking some basic needs- grater, peeler and only 7 forks although lots of other utensils. Only 2 wine glasses. Property has gas grill as advertised but there wasn’t any gas so we couldn’t grill out. Pillows are flat in all bedrooms. So recommend bringing your own.

My sister and I picked Moneta, VA as a halfway spot between where our two families live (TN and PA) to spend time together. We were not expecting to have a weekend that felt like a perfect vacation. The location is so quiet and beautiful, with great shops nearby and a gorgeous state park. Ryan’s home was very clean, cozy, and just right for our two families. The dock was a fun place to relax and kayak. The only thing I’d recommend for future guest is to bring extra chairs for the living room if you have a group of more than 4. Well worth a visit if you want a relaxing, comfortable place to stay!

Everything was so easy. Property was nice and we all had a great time considering it got so cold and the wind was rocking so mostly confined inside (which the pool room made that fun, pool table, mini fridge and NCAA tournament on) with the exception of the few quick trips out to throw a line in and a trip to Bridgewater Plaza and lunch at Moosie's which is always fun. Can't wait to it again during the summer :).

We booked a stay over Christmas at the last minute during our move south. They made sure the house was decorated for Christmas and even put up a tree. I appreciate the effort that was put in to make our stay extra special over the holiday. We will definitely be back when we return to tbe area!
