The location was so tranquil and the interior was everything you would want and more.
It was a bit of a walk to the shops and restaurants but that is part of the allure. We got groceries and cooked from home and it was perfect.

Todo ha sido fantástico. La anfitriona nos puso todas las facilidades y explicaciones necesarias.

The Domus apartment is a hidden gem in old Tivoli. It does not look much from the outside, but once you step in, it's beautiful. The apartment is carefully and tastefully restored, blending modern amenities with century old structure. The furnishings are beautiful and high quality. But the real bonus is a spacious terrace overlooking Villa d'Este gardens, where we had breakfast or just watched the moon.
It was a bit cumbersome to collect the key, since we arrived later than 6pm. We had to go to a nearest café to pick it up, not a big deal but a bit tiring after a day of driving. It would be great to add some yoghurt to a breakfast selection.

The location of this apartment is perfect, you can have a private view of Villa D’Este gardens while eating your breakfast! nothing can beat that. our host was so so lovely, she waited for us in the pouring rain, we can not be grateful enough!

The beautiful terrace, the peace and the view over the gardens at Villa d'Este. We had both apartments - which were connected -and the kids loved having their own space.
My 80 year old mum struggled a bit with the long uphill walk every time we left the apartment!

Lovely terrace and very well equipped accommodation.
Dogs nearby were very noisy first thing in the morning.

My family really enjoyed the experience of staying in a 17th century building that had been remodeled for modern day. The patio was wonderful to relax on and the view was lovely. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very quiet. As an extra bonus, the owner graciously offered to transport us and our luggage from the train station.
We were fine with everything about the apartment. However, others should understand that it is located on the side of a hill. You enter into the kitchen and climb a steep staircase to the bedrooms and bathroom. Walking anywhere from the apartment means you either go up the hill or down the hill.

Fantastic flat with large terrace with vie on Villa d'Este.
Very welcoming and caring host Gina.
Quiet area
The flat is located in the lower area of Tivoli and it requires 5-10 min walking up streets and stairs to go to the centre and the entrance of the villas.
Cars not allowed due to restricted access to the medieval part of the town.

The place is amazing. It has been renovated but without loosing the overal feel that you're staying in a place that has been there for more than a 100 years. It's very clean and provided everything we needed. Our only regret was that we stayed only for two nights. The location is great, the terrace shares a wall with Villa d'Este so basically you're looking at it while enjoying your coffee in the morning. The owner is incredibly friendly, answered every question that we had upfront quickly and even picked us up from the train station with her car. We would definitely consider this place for our next visit as we managed to see only a fraction of the sights due to rainy weather.
The weather :)

The property is in the historic centre of Tivoli and is itself a charming, characterful building.
It has been beautifully refurbished and furnished and is immaculately clean.
The terrace and views over the Villa D’ Este gardens were an added bonus.
Wifi was excellent.
The shower is small.
Would have been useful to have a clothes airer/washing line.

the view to the villa D’Esta were outstanding, the location was not too far from town, the balcony was lovely too
would have been nice to have a couple extra Deck chairs on the Balcony. The breakfast included wasn’t great, just some cakes, french toast and fruit. would have been nice to have some sausages, meats and eggs. but it didn’t spoil our holiday, we just went to the supermarket and brought our own things for breakfast

The apartment was very nice (even nicer than on pictures), clean and comfortable.
The only thing that was not so good was parking. It's written that it is free, but we had to use public parking which is 15min walk and cost around 14€ per day.

This ship shape sparkling clean apartment is located in the medieval part of town. The house has medieval size walls, faces a pedestrian only alley and on the back it borders the Villa d'Este Gardens (if you jump off your balcony you will get free access - Just kidding, don't do that). The only 'noise' you can perceive it is the fountains', which is pretty pleasurable. It also diminishes a lot when the Villa is closed and some of the fountains are shut off. Finally Gina, your host, is sunny, welcoming and very helpful.
This is not necessarily a negative thing, but: Tivoli is located on a hill top and the house is on the hill side, therefore be prepared, everywhere your are going to walk to is up hill (don't even think about using the car). There is no real parking in the proximity, the closest one is a good 10 minute walk away, although, if you follow Gina's lead, you can park the locals-way right by the house. Finally, the house had the fastest internet service ever but, due to the massive walls, it worked only in the bedroom.

Perfectly located in the very center of Tivoli old town. Superb appartement. The terrace even offers a view on Villa d’Este’s garden.
We even could left our motorbikes in a secured place (very appreciated, almost no parking place around)
Very warm welcome from the owner.

Wonderful location in the quiet old town.
Beautiful flat and very clean.
Very comfortable beds.
Nice Terrasse.
You make breakfast your self - should be mentioned in description - but no problem- but like most North European we don’t like sweet breakfast. We went out for alimentary in the morning to get eggs, cheese, ham and fresh bread. Alimentary is about 20 min. walk.

Location almost in the Villa d´Este gardens and views from the terrace are unique, and the history of the building is very interesting.
For us everything in the apartment and its situation was perfect. For people who have problems with walking or stairs, there might be some problems but Tivoli itself is not easy place for disabled.
