We had a very good week here. Property in very good location for seeing around the Northumberland area. Kids (and parents!) enjoyed the hot tub. It was comfortable and had most things we needed.
One issue was that the property advertised a washing machine in the kitchen. However that is not the case. There is a laundrette service on site. The owners were kind in the dealing of that situation though as washing machine was one of the reasons we had booked property. Possibly might need to replace some cutlery as some not in best condition but all in we had a great time.

It's in a great spot. The property is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. We had a great getaway for our ten year anniversary. The hot tub is lovely and large and the area was nice and quiet. We also had a great meal at the nearby Cook & Barker Inn. We would definitely return.

superb break away , everything you need for some quiet relaxation . hot tub was tucked away and private which was a bonus .
hot tub lost a bit of heat whilst we were in it so not sure what it will be like in the colder months but it didn’t spoil our overall stay .

We loved the property. It was clean and pretty. The hot tub was clean and much needed for a few days relaxing.
Perhaps a mirror in the bedroom so I could dry my hair but thats being very picky.

The lodge was so cosy and had a really lovely rustic feel. The facilities were great and it was fantastic to have good Wi-Fi and smart TVs in all the rooms. when we initially struggled to locate the lodge, due to a miscommunication somewhere along the line, we contacted the owner who was very helpful on the phone.

Property was as described, in a lovely peaceful location - ideally suited for those wanting a quiet haven. The property had all the items that you would need for a good stay. The bonus of a superb hot tub made this a memorable time and eased away the tired muscles from active days exploring. It really is a lovely cabin and location.
The negative was the overall cleanliness and several items not working. We had an expectation of all things being ready to use. We had to wash the glasses, mugs and cutlery before use. No cleaning products or cloths were provided and the antibacterial hand-washes had been refilled with water to make them appear full. The bbq had been left used / uncleaned from previous occupancy. The en-suite shower head leaked more water than came out of the top. The shower attachment in the bathroom didn’t work. Little niggles which didn’t really spoil our stay.

The lodge was beautifully laid out, spotlessly clean
Unfortunately we had a power cut and had no power for most of our stay. This is not the vendors fault we had a,storm that downed the power cables

All the wood - the look and the smell, really comfy beds and sofa and in a great location. Hot tub is fantastic. We felt right at home.
Some small things that could make the property super: better WiFi (if possible, guess it depends on coverage), toilet roll holders and brushes, hairdryer, heating instructions, plastic glasses for outside, and a better shower head on the en-suit shower would all make the place just perfect. Also the lounge remote batteries were almost dead, a flickering spot light above the shower and one bulb has gone in the double bedroom chandelier. All of these things are minor but easily updated for a perfect stay. Would definitely stay at Eagle Lodge again!

Fantastic location. The lodge was so clean and had everything we needed and everything that was advertised on the site. Hot tub is so big. Pictures are deceiving. Great size rooms. Really modern but also very cosy. Outdoor area brilliant
