We loved staying at this eclectic property. We were a group of 9 and there was ample room for everyone to be together. The house was well appointed and warm. Would definitely go back again

The house is older and full of character, lovely and warm, great beds and showers… only downside was paper towels for hand towels and no bath mats

It's our second long weekend stay at Tasma House. It's a rambling yet contained, nurturing place to be creative. We will come again.

Overall the property met our needs as a large family group and the beds were clean and comfortable. The house was warm but the two separate and smallish lounge rooms makes it difficult for a large group to sit together except in the space adjacent to the kitchen. Surprisingly there was no dishwasher and the deep sinks made washing up a bit of a chore and hard on the back. The house is in a nice location.

stay was great for family with a few hic ups,
2nd kitchen was a mouse haven. carpets were fusty and lack of fly screens made cooling the house an issue with no aircon.

Entry instructions were easy. The outdoor area was stunning, with big shady trees, a large table and many chairs for outside dining and socialising, a large inground trampoline that the grandkids (2 to 14) loved, and a lovely pond area. Inside was a little 'olde worlde' but the young ones soon adapted and we all enjoyed the music room and the large kitchen/dining area. All beds were comfortable, and we noted the extensive heating provisions, but we didn't need any of them as we had beautiful days with cooler evenings for sleeping. A most enjoyable 3 night stay with 16 immediate family members celebrating the 'matriarch's' 70th birthday.

We had a large family group of 16, including lots of smaller kids. This property was absolutely perfect for us: warm, cosy, creative, heaps of space for everyone, musical instruments, beautiful grounds for exploring...not to mention the market up the road and the bushland down the road. We loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Quaint house brimming with charm
We were a group of 15 ranging in age from 4 to 75 years , and this house offered something for everyone. Our primary aim was to achieve a family reunion , and the home had its own charm promoted through the character of the building construction which allowed private spaces for everyone. The only negative was that the coffee machine milk frother did not seem to work

Lovely garden and had a lunch in garden on a beautiful day

Family weekend
Great spot. Very quiet and lots of space for the children to run around. Not goofs the to walk into town. Handy to have baths for the littlie ones. Would have liked a walk in shower for my elderly mother as she found getting in and out a bit difficult

Very welcoming , quirky house.
Our group of 17 stayed here over the long weekend and all agreed it was a memorable stay.
Many things extra were provided and appreciated.
The dining/ music area is the hub of the home and has plenty of room to socialise.
The lovely trees provided relief from the heat. There are plenty of nooks for privacy to read and enjoy a enjoy quiet moment.
The lounge allowed the tennis fans the opportunity to watch the Australian Open, while the others chatted in the dining area.
Our only issue was that some of the beds were not kind to our old backs and could perhaps do with an upgrade.
Thanks Adrian for your hospitality.

Spacious and a photographic location with a different feel
Spacious clean and a photographic location with a different feel to traditional accommodation.
Gardens and the trampoline provided ample entertainment for the kids.
Could improve on the bathrooms especially in the main building, but not a big deal.

Rustic charm and big enough for the whole crew
My friends and I had a great time at Tasma House. We used all the rooms and bungelos as there was a total of 16 of us. The house has two living areas with the kitchen/ back room being bif enough to entertain and fit all of us. We spent almost all our meals at the house and the only thing we missed were a whisk and a potato masher! The kitchen has plenty of serving dishes for big groups and enough mugs and plates! (BYO wine glasses). There is also two kitchens with two full size fridges.
The gardens are amazing and we all thought it was a very tranquil and secluded feeling setting.
The hosts were also very good, we had an issue with the hot water system and it was replaced on a friday night (I was very impresses with this because none of us thought that would happen). They were really helpful and made sure we enjoyed our stay.
The house is very interesting to explore and we were all surprised by how warm the house was. We aren't from this part of Australia and all thought we would be very cold but inside the house for the age of the hosue it was very very warm. The smaller bungalos are the coldest bedrooms as there is a bit of a draft out there.
I would recommened this house for family or friends who are wishing to gather and enjoy each others company and enjoy the local produce in the big kitchen!

A wonderful winter Break
We had a wonderful winter long weekend at Tasma House The house is quirky but there was plenty of room for our noisy extended family. It was warm, cosy and very clean. We loved the back kitchen family room and it was a perfect place for family time.... got the kids away from the ipads and into playing silly games, having a talent show (the sliding doors to the music room made for a perfect stage!) and a round of Monopoly. Our plans for a dinner out in town were shelved as it was very busy, and, with such a well appointed kitchen we stocked up on beautiful fresh vege's from the Railway Market and stayed home for roast lamb. It is often hard to find a place to accomodate a large family but Tasma house ticked all our boxes for a family weekend. The trampoline and duck ponds were an added bonus.

Very cosy
My large family of 14 plus 3 babies recently stayed for a weekend
at Tasma House, Daylesford.
We had a wonderful time there.
The huge rustic living room/ kitchen is great for a big group.
The property is cosy, comfy and authentic.
The bed linen is crisp and white.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the garden and the in ground trampoline.
Adrian, our host was delightful.
We look forward to returning in the future.”

Fairytale location!!
I have booked the Tasma house for our wedding in January and it was just perfect! The gardens surrounding the main house and the little cottages are absoluetly stunning, perfect to take amazing pictures. The size of the main house is perfect for a small group and very functional when it comes to preparing meals. Its a very comfortable space and each of our guests enjoyed the comfort of their room/cottages. The trampoline was a big favourite for the kids. We had a fantastic time at Tasma House and I strongly recommend this venue for your next familly holliday.
