Wundervoller Aufenthalt durch unglaublich warmherzige und fantastische Gastgeber. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt auf Gozo. Vor allem Federico und Claudia haben dazu einen sehr großen Anteil gehabt. Angefangen von der Lage in Għarb, dem großen, liebevoll restaurierten und schön eingerichetem Haus sowie dem Zimmer, über das fantastische Frühstück bis hin zu den herzlichen Gastgebern selbst. Hier hat wirklich alles gepasst und wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt! Federico ist unglaublich nett, hilfsbereit und man kann mit jedem Anliegen (Tipps, Ausflüge, etc.) zu ihm kommen. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld als auch während unseres Aufenthalts hat hervorragend funktioniert. Das abwechslungsreiche und sensationelle Frühstück, was Federico und Claudia für ihre Gäste zaubern, ist da wirklich nur die Kirsche auf der Torte. Neben dem Mood Farmhouse B&B haben wir auch noch Einblicke in die andere Unterkunft, dem Home Mood B&B, bekommen, welche noch einmal größer ist und einen anderen Stil hat. Beide Unterkünfte haben uns sehr gefallen und wir können auch beide uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Für den nächsten Urlaub oder dem nächsten Sprachkurs auf Gozo kommen wir defintiv wieder hierher! @Federico und Claudia: Vielen Dank euch beiden für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub auf der kleinen Insel!

The best place to stay in Gozo

Bellissima Farmhouse, accogliente, calda, molto ben allestita e strutturata. Camere spaziose, letto comodissimo e tutto è perfettamente comodo come a casa. Colazione meravigliosa e buonissima… Grande cordialità e professionalità… Ci siamo trovati BENISSIMO, ma sarei rimasto ancora una settimana 😉🥰Molto consigliata e ci torneremo🥰👏👏👏🔝🔝

Excellent séjour à Gozo grâce à Federico

B&B très confortable. On s'y est senti comme à la maison. Les petits déjeuners sont fantastiques. Les conseils du propriétaires pour visiter l'île de Gozo sont très utiles et nous ont permis de passer des vacances au top.

Si vous le pouvez, demandez une des chambre qui donne sur la piscine. Les chambres côté route sont bruyantes à partir de 6h du matin.

Yard pool, host Frederico was amazing, helpful and friendly, offered advice on the best route for exploring Gozo. breakfast was excellent.

Air in room was somehow not so pleasant during night, maybe leaving AC working during the night would make it better

Perfect stay in Gozo

Federico is the perfect host for a nice stay on Gozo. The farmhouse is simply beautifull and the pool is amazing to relax. Breakfast offers both local and continental elements and is very tasty.

great location to explore the island of Gozo. Extensive continental breakfast and great swimming pool and surrounds. When back in Gozo will aim to stay here again.

The WiFi range was a bit limited due to the solid construction of the building but it worked well in the lounge room

Great host, with a true passion for Gozo and for hosting people. Typical and clean room, great breakfast with local and italian products. Nice pool where to chill. Don't hesitate to ask to Federico suggestions for hidden gems in Gozo.

We had a perfect stay!!

The host, Federico, is amazing and very helpful. He makes you feel like family. The accommodation is very charming with a great pool, a comfortable room, living area, kitchen and an amazing breakfast. Everything was perfect and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

What a stunning B&B! Comfortable, home away from home, thanks to Federico!

What a stunning B&B! So happy with our stay here which was for 5 nights. On entering the farmhouse, the first impression was how beautifully & tastefully decorated it is. The conversion of an old, traditional Maltese farmhouse has been done sympathetically, appreciating and retaining the building's features in whatever way possible whilst never compromising on comfort & beauty. I especially loved entering the breakfast room/living room for the first time, what an impactful & dramatic first impression with the gorgeous pool in view. I loved the perfect mix of new & old with all the modern comforts such as WiFi, A/C and a great pool. Breakfast was delicious & the water & fruit provided daily was very much appreciated. Onto Federico who manages the B&B - how amazing is he?! The friendliest, nicest man ever, giving us daily tips on where to go, understanding what we wanted perfectly & helping out whenever possible - he makes this place! Super child-friendly too. Our room was very spacious, the family room featured on the site with blue bedding. Our view was overlooking the pool which was gorgeous & beds were nice & comfortable - we slept well every night. The location is also perfect - near to all the places you'd want to visit on Gozo, easy street parking right in front of the B&B, and Gharb centre itself has a cheap convenience store to buy food & drinks plus a super cool restaurant (Il Kunvent). Also within walking distance is a lovely vineyard, I highly recommend doing a wine tasting there (Tal Massar) - it's pricey but worth every penny. Lastly we all loved the pool - how can you not?! We spent a lot of time in it, every morning after breakfast and most evenings before going out for dinner. It is the perfect size & has varying depths, ideal for families. Thank you for an unforgettable home away from home stay.

It would be nice to provide pool/beach towels, separate to bathroom towels. The shower gel provided could have been a bit nicer in bottles rather than packets. Refillable bottles would be eco friendly :) toilet roll could have been better quality - very thin so we ended up using a lot. Lastly this is a true B&B meaning you can hear and often see other guests' presence - so on a couple of occasions I was woken up by early morning check in/late night returns. Additionally all the shared spaces are shared including the kitchen & living room as well as the pool. not a problem for us but something to be aware of.

Delicious breakfast. Fabulous host. Spacious indoor area to spend time in. Beautiful pool. Very quiet and peaceful area to stay in.

A beautiful rustic homestay with a very welcoming host

A beautifully renovated farmhouse homestay. The property is very comfortable and well-decorated. Federico was a wonderful host, with great suggestions of day trips from the property and restaurant recommendations. We were served a delicious breakfast, which gave a good opportunity to meet some of the other guests. Wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely be returning!

Our lovely host Federico was very welcoming and prepared the most amazing breakfast! Spacious room and dining area, lots of natural light and pet friendly. Great water pressure in the shower / bath.

The beds were unfortunately not so comfortable and the bathroom tiles need some maintenance. The living / dining area has limited lighting at night.

Stay in the Gozitan countryside

Gharb is a beautiful place to stay, surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are many walks from the farmhouse. Federico was an amazing host and his breakfasts were varied and delicious every day. His passion for the local area was evident in his recommendations of places to visit - he understood our requirements perfectly and helped us to plan our daily visits. He also arranged our airport transports to and from Malta. We would highly recommend a stay at Mood Farmhouse.
