About this cottage rental

Oakhaven Cottage features comfort for six guests with three bedrooms - one king bedroom and one queen bedroom downstairs and one queen bedroom upstairs with its own full bath. The beds and linens are new and fresh and the bedroom furniture is beautiful solid cherry, maple, and pine. The dining room and living room seat 6 and the upstairs greatroom is perfect for movie watching or catching the big game. Put your feet up in the cozy sunroom, the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening beverage while watching the neighbors walk their dogs or squirrels chase up and down the oak trees.

Kitchen is newly renovated and well-appointed. The downstairs bathroom is also newly updated with a custom-built, double-sink vanity and walk-in shower.

The cottage features hardwood floors throughout the downstairs rooms.
There are ceiling fans in all three bedrooms, living room, sunroom, and upstairs great room for quiet comfort.
All bedrooms have nightstand lighting with USB charging ports.
Laundry with large capacity washer and dryer and detergents and softeners provided.
Covered deck with comfortable seating for six people.
Playhouse and swing set in the back yard for the wee ones.
You'll find lots of stained glass pieces crafted by our family.

Oakhaven Cottage is conveniently located in a quiet, Midtown-Tulsa neighborhood - very close to Expo Square, University of Tulsa, and Cherry Street restaurants and shops. Downtown Tulsa and the Pearl, Blue Dome, and Arts Districts are all close by with eleven local craft breweries an easy Uber ride away.

Not all vacation properties are created equal and this one exceeds all expectations! We travel quite a bit and this property did not disappoint. Everything you might think of needing was here. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the gadgets and equipment you would need. Such a great property. We will book again when. Coming to Tulsa.

If you need a place close to the Expo, this is it. Family was here for Limousin Jr. Nationals and it was so nice to be able to be so close you could go “home” for meals and a break. Very well maintained older house that stayed comfortably cool even in miserable hot days. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Ayn & Sean!!

Our recent stay at a VRBO rental was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that we had chosen the perfect place for our weekend getaway. The property was exactly as described and pictured in the listing. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen. One of the standout features of this Vrbo rental was the level of comfort it provided. The bedrooms were spacious with plush, comfortable beds and high-quality linens that ensured a good night's sleep. The living areas were equally inviting, with plenty of seating. We thoroughly enjoyed the property's amenities. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary appliances and utensils to prepare meals, and the outdoor space was a true highlight. Communication with the property owner was seamless and friendly. They provided clear instructions for check-in/checkout. We will definitely be back to stay at this gem.

We spent are free time walking in the neighborhood and visiting on the back porch. The place has Everything you need, Good water pressure in both showers. Beds were very good! I wish I had more time to read some of your books! I did enjoy Ayn’s short stories. I would definitely stay again!

Our stay was fantastic. 5 stars all the way around. The home is located in a quaint neighborhood near downtown Tulsa and the fairgrounds. The owners have done a fabulous job decorating and maintaining the home and it worked well for us. We also highly recommend Mondo's and Italian restaurant in Tulsa! The snacks left by the owners were appreciated and all in all this was a 10 out of 10. Perfect for our visit!

This cottage is perfect!!! It was super clean, very cute and incredibly close to the Expo Center. We used this cottage as out home base and it was very accessible to everything that we needed. The accomodations were well thought out and the bedding was comfortable. A very clean space with wonderful artwork from local artists! Will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay hosting our three adult children for our granddaughter’s first Christmas. The cottage was spacious, cute and had everything we could have needed plus some. Such a delightful few days in this warm, welcoming, well-appointed home. Every detail is taken care of perfectly. Great beds/ linens and a kitchen with all accoutrements. Beautiful art and stained glass pieces. Total comfort!! Would stay there again without question. Hosts were very accommodating.

The neighborhood is very quiet. The house has a sweet spirit and is quiet as well. The sunroom in the front was a great place to sit and read and enjoy the sunshine while inside nice neighbors, the neighbors on either side were very pleasant and always spoke when they saw us and my dogs enjoyed seeing their pups when they were in the backyard. We noticed that the backyard was seated heavily with additional fescue grass seed. The grass in the backyard is somewhat sparse, and it rained one evening very hard so the next morning we had dirty doggy feet clean up before they came back in the house. When this additional seed grows in, it’ll be a great yard.

My husband and I along with two friends stayed at this fabulous house. It is easy to find, the owners are very responsive, the kitchen is updated and has everything you need, the linens are plentiful and nice, the house is spotlessly clean, there are snacks and cold water upon arrival along with other items in the cabinets.The first floor bathroom is beautifully updated and there are two bedrooms on that floor that are well appointed. Upstairs is another bedroom and bathroom along with a sitting/family room. The porch is a pleasant place to read a book and just relax. Outside the backdoor is a lovely, private deck with great furniture and awesome lighting. The laundry is near the kitchen and is very easy to use. There are items for pets in the cabinets alongside the washing machine. The owners have thought of everything and we would definitely stay there again. It is a gem!!!

The downstairs of the cottage is just perfect for 2 people or 2 couples. All the appliances are top of the line, and the enclosed porch is lovely for relaxing - just the 2 of us. The stairs going up are not safe for older people like us. If a person has any sort of difficulty getting around, it's not a good idea to venture up there. The host was most friendly and helpful.

2 friends and I stayed at this lovely cottage. The property is located in a very quaint neighborhood that is quiet and felt very safe etc at night. The house itself was very clean, well appointed, and very comfortable making you feel, “at home.” We will stay again. We loved our stay. The following is not a complaint by any means, but future “renters” should know that the staircase to the upstairs is quite a steep climb. This could possibly cause problems if the people staying had any physical limitations regarding a steep flight of stairs. Thank you Sean and Ayn for the use of your lovely home! We give you all 5 stars.

These owners know how to do it! This was such a charming and cozy home with everything we would need to make our stay just right. Unfortunately, a big storm that passed through before we arrived had strewn sticks and tree limbs everywhere outside. But, on whole, is was fantastic and we hope to be back!

Oakhaven Cottage was lovely. It was perfect for our group of 6 longtime friends celebrating a special birthday. It was quiet, peaceful, and very comfortable. The cottage was very well supplied and we did not lack for anything. Plenty of hot water, towels, and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and serving utensils. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch one evening and watching fireflies! Oakhaven is close to many good restaurants and not far from downtown. (Our group recommends dinner at Sisserou’s Caribbean restaurant. Great food!) We will definitely be back sometime, and several of us mentioned wanting to come back with husbands for a special getaway.

The cottage was VERY clean and had everything that was needed for a rental & some! The front sun room is cozy and a great spot to read. Overall, I was looking for a quiet house to relax before a race and this listing delivered 5/5. There was minimal car traffic down the street the entire time despite being so close to everything Tulsa related.

My family and I stayed here over a long weekend for our daughter's TU commencement. The entire visit was outstanding and far exceeded expectations - from late night check-in through departure. The house was perfect, contained all the comfortable touches, and fit our needs to a "T", while communications with the owners were always completed within 5 minutes of outreach. A number of guests stopped by throughout the visit and all complemented the property. In particular, as we stayed in early May on a weekend that was in the high 80s, and the large back porch created the perfect spot (nice breeze) for a coffee or to visit with guests. We even met a couple neighbors who were very friendly. The owners' care and pride are evident, and we would absolutely stay here on future visits to Tulsa.

We were 3 couples all over 65, the property worked perfect! Very clean and well organized!! There was a storm and high winds, we lost power for several hours, our hosts kept us informed and came to pick up sticks after the storm passed! I would give this an all star rating and would totally recommend this property! The outdoor patio is the best!! Nice fenced back yard for the dog.
