Perfect stay!

Perfect little cottage.. cosy and comfortable.. we didn’t need for anything! Everything we could think we needed was provided and more 👌🏼

To be extremely picky.. a small bag of logs for the fire would have been an amazing touch.

The second time we have stayed at Pottery Gate as it’s a lovely property in a great location to enjoy Boweness. The new bathroom was a great treat!

Beautiful, stylish, comfortable cottage in a perfect location

Beautiful cottage, comfortable and stylish. Fab location with only a short walk to the lake of Bowness on Windermere and very close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Very well equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay. Enjoyed the garden in the sunshine perfect place to relax and put your feet up whilst having a break from.exploring the Lake District. Its a perfect base.

Awesome cottage!

Beautifully decorated, very comfortable, spotlessly clean, well equipped and well kept. Located just a few steps from the small city center, not far from the lake. It was a pleasure to return to it at the end of each day. Hope to stay there again!!

Amazing, fabulous cottage. Absolutely faultless.

So cozy, well equipped, the bathroom was fabulous. The location was great and in such easy reach to the town centre. We didn’t want to leave. Claire the host is fantastic nothing was too much trouble, we will definitely return.

Could do with a footstool in the lounge, especially when 4 adults as the sofas are cozy.

Great location for walking into bowness, actually managed to park fairly easily. Stunning cottage, comfy beds, very cosy and clean.

Externel door to stick a bit, but not a major problem. Log fire was lovely, just remember to bring some logs.

beautiful, cosy and spotlessly clean cottage with everything you you could possibly need and in an excellent location. Clare the host was a lovely lady and always available if needed! Would definitely recommend this cottage it is perfect! my dogs especially loved the log burning stove 😂

Perfect - will be back 😁

Beautiful home from home, furnished and cleaned to perfection. Lovey arrival hamper meant no need to rush to the shops before unpacking. Located right in the centre of Bowness with parking permit included which meant we were free to come and go without worrying too much about where to park. Thoughtful touches throughout such as umbrella’s and torches to loan as well as blankets to cosy up on cooler nights.

Only small issue is the steep steps which can get icy and the doors sticking in the cold but not much the owner can do about the weather 😁

Excellent location , there is a pub literally at the bottom of the road . The cottage was home from home with everything you need for a comfortable stay , the sticky toffee pudding , sweets , selection of hot drinks was a lovely surprise.

Lovely family stay

I loved how beautiful and cosy the cottage was. Decor was perfect, beds were so comfortable. Nice large bathroom which is having a new refurb installed in November. In the perfect location, nice and quiet but within walking distance to everything in Bowness. Would definitely stay again.

I was disappointed that there was no logs ( other than a 90min burn log) for the lovely stove in the cottage. If I’d known or been made aware I could have brought our own from home. I was looking forward to cosy evenings in front of the fire after a long day around the lakes.

Everything . Communication was amazing brilliant detailed instructions to get to the property and how to park . The whole house was so clean. Home from home feel . Perfect for our family and our dog . Even toys and dog treats available. We loved the sweet treats for the adults to and the cartmel sticky toffee pudding in the fridge . Such a personal touch to the stay .we can not what to come back . Thank you

The cottage was beautiful with great access to the main town and a lovely welcome package for the dog. Overall was a fantastic stay

Parking was an issue due to alot of building work going on however we had two cars. One car would be fine
