Mi è piaciuta l accoglienza dei due proprietari massimo davvero gentile e cortese ..per non parlare poi della camera stile van Gogh bellissima davvero arredata bene comoda tutto perfetto

Struttura in pieno centro.... Buon livello complessivo. Consigliato

Reception disponibile e cordiale.

Breakfast was phenomenal.
Location was great
Smell on the way in was nasty, moldy.
Doors to “balcony” covered with construction. Holes seeped in outside air. Walls dirty.
Lift had dog pee in it.

The shower head was great not the bathroom. The cleaning lady was very nice. She was the only staff member we meet.
The hotel is a construction site that you walk into.(this should have been made aware upon booking). The odour of the entrance is not pleasant. The room we stayed in faced the main road which was noisy. It was ocean view but we couldn't see it because of the scaffolding. I did contact host on the first night as we couldn't sleep. She said that the noise cannot be blocked out. I said it's advertised as soundproof. The room needs some major TLC. For the amount of money we paid we expected better. We have been travelling for 5 weeks in Italy and this is the first hotel that I wouldn't recommend . Would I recommend this hotel no. The host didn't bother to contact me the following day to see how we were. I couldn't wait to leave.

Location, clean
Breakfast was off site and not much to eat, bed was a bit small for two people, loud toilet, loud traffic outside

Gorgeous location, handy to visit Amalfi Coast by boat and to tour Pompeii. Salerno itself is also lovely with good restaurants and charming old town. Apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable for a family.

Different from other hotels offer on site Italian breakfast, we like the experience eating at neighborhood shop (Caldarelli Dolce). In the morning we had great time enjoying different type Italian bread and ocean view discussing our daily plan. We didn't spend much time in the city, however, it is perfect location to go to other Amalfi cost cities. all public transportation stops are round 10 min or so. We took ferry to go to Capri, bus to go to Amalfi and train to Naples/Pompei.
The owners are very friendly and always available to help. He helped us into hotel room without having to wait for my husband who missed the ferry unfortunately.
No washer on site, however, there is laundromat nearby.

Great location, very comfortable and spacious apartment. I love how every room has a different artist theme, very unique. I happened to get my favourite room (Botticelli) by chance! Breakfast at the nearby cafe was delicious, croissants, fresh orange juice and cappuccino. Highly recommend staying here.

A handsome and roomy suite decorated with paintings by van Gogh. The mini-hotel has an art theme with each room commemorating a famous painter. The location is excellent: on the sea front, just 15 minutes from the port and railway station, and 5 minutes to the historic old town of Salerno. With the windows open it was noisy with the sounds of a bustling city, but closing the windows and shutters provided for a good night's sleep. Our apartment had a small terrace overlooking the sea. It was very clean and comfortable and with tea & coffee making facilities and a kitchen hob & sink. Indeed, the selection of teas was generous. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was provided in a cafe two minutes away and was barely adequate, one coffee, one glass of juice and one pastry. Alternatively, the owners would order in food and you could prepare your own on the kitchen hob. The WiFi signal was weak in the main living area.

This little hotel is a jewel. The location right on the Lungomare is perfect and my room was very comfortable. The two things most important to me are a good mattress (not too soft, comfortably firm) and an ample shower since I am a tall guy. My room had both these features and more.
I must mention that the mini-hotel is located in a grand old building of considerable importance on the Lungomare that is undergoing renovation. The whole building is covered with scaffolding, so when I arrived I was puzzled about how to find the hotel. Anyone considering booking RarityArt should not let this be off putting. The rooms are very nice and Anna and Massimo are perfect hosts. If I return to Salerno I will definitely stay there again. It is a really good value.
I have no adverse criticism.

I can tell you what I did NOT like
It was a B&B, but it has been classified as MINIHotel. That was wrong. There was none to receive, nor the reception was open. When we have been waiting at the door step, a stranger who knew the owner, called him. He came in half an hour later.

RarityArt Minihotel is a lovely small boutique lodging in a wonderful location in Salerno along the waterfront. It is within walking distance from the train station, ferry station (that takes you to the towns of the Amalfi coast) and the downtown shopping and restaurant area. It is beautifully decorated with art themed rooms and original art. Mossimo was very attentive to our needs (we were traveling w a family group of 3 couples and a toddler), providing a baby bed and extra coffee. He helped us locate local sites of interest as well. After Covid the proprietors have chosen not to offer breakfast in house but instead give you a voucher to a lovely coffee/pastry shop just around the corner. The espresso and cappuccino, freshly squeezed orange juice and croissants were a highlight of our day :-)
It should be noted that it is located on the 2nd floor (1st floor in European countries) in an historic bldg. and you may need to carry your luggage up the stairs depending on the status of the "vintage" elevator. Also, the bldg. has been undergoing some kind of renovations and there is scaffolding along the exterior and the entry area. It doesn't affect the lodging at all.

The location was very good. Even though the management came later than when we left for tge day and was not there when we returned, they were available by internet and/or whattsapp and arranged local transportation for us.

The ambiance is just what I like. Breakfast next door was easy and convenient.
There’s nothing that I did not like about the stay. The building is being renovated so I’m sure it will be fantastic once completed.

A perfect location in Salerno. Bus stop across the street, hotel across from the sea. Care clearly taken in the rooms with huge posters of classic art and attention to detail. The rooms were large, kitchen was complete and coffee, tea, oil was provided. Anna, at the front desk was very helpful.
All was great.

The suite was spacious and it was great to have in-room coffee/tea facilities. The breakfast was good, but off-site and limited to croissant, juice and coffee.
It was very difficult to find the hotel, especially as it was raining when we arrived on foot. There was scaffolding covering the entire front of the building. To reach the hotel you had to enter a poorly-marked door, enter a courtyard area, walk around to find the stairs/elevator and go to the 2nd level to find the hotel entrance. Also, there was a problem with the plumbing in that everytime you ran water or flushed toilet, there was a loud rumbling sound. The wifi in our room was very unstable so we asked to change rooms which was accommodated in a quick manner.

Great location close to everything and right on the Lungomare with gorgeous view of harbor from private balcony. Relatively spacious. Hosts seemed friendly and helpful and allowed us early checkin and accommodated a last-minute addition of another night there.
Getting to the flat was a bit sketchy, as you had to walk under the dark scaffolding (and sometimes with homeless sleeping there), then get thru the outer door to a very dark and unmarked inner courtyard, find a staircase hidden in a corner and walk up. The bathroom layout was a bit awkward but spacious enough.

The thematic of the hotel, the designed rooms after the painters
The room, what I booked has a courtyard view. The whole building are under the renovation and because of it, from this room was not a good choice. But the Host was helpful to solve my problem and we found the solution.
