Having visited relatives in Westward Ho! for the past 40 years, we recently stayed in this beautiful property for a family holiday and celebrated my daughters 21st whilst we were there. The house was spacious, clean and tidy and the views were stunning- all ideal for a family get together. The hostess was friendly and it was only a short walk into westward Ho! The large garden was ideal for a family bbq. We would definitely recommend this property and would book this place again when visiting Westward Ho! another year.

We stayed for a week, there were 6 of us and a dog and there was plenty of space for us to relax and unwind. the house is fully equipped and the outside space is fully fenced in which was great for the dog. The views from the balcony were fantastic , very easy walk to the town. There is a big hill down to the beach so if you are surfing or carrying a lot of beach stuff you might want to drive down. We bought a car park pass for the beach carpark for the week and it was 15 pounds. Overall we really liked this property and if we are ever back in Westward Ho! we would certainly look to rent it again.

This property was ideal for our family holiday. The experience was enhanced by the superb weather we enjoyed but this, in turn, enabled us to make full use of the facilities available. Although we went to the beach we were more than happy with the garden and balcony for sunbathing and the airy lounge for relaxing out of the sun.
The property was exceptionally well equipped with the only item we couldn’t find being a fan.
I would recommend this property to anybody seeking ( like us) an inter generational get together.

Family Holiday at Wavelyn Westward Ho!
Overall the house was everything we had hoped for. Very spacious, plenty of room for the 8 of us ranging from 18months to 66! Its position was 5 minutes walk from the beach etc. Views from the house of the coast were stunning. The garden space was well used as was the jacuzzi!
Did feel that the steep steps into the garden would benefit from a hand rail. Also quality of towels provided could have been of better quality.
We had a wonderful time there and would stay there again.

Fab location for a staycation.
Positives: Fab location with sea views from all windows at the rear of the property. Lovely garden. Ample parking. Plenty of space for 2 families of 4. An abundance of cleaning products for guests’ use.
Hot tub was a real bonus.
Excellent communication from Hannah. Lovely welcome gift for humans and our four legged companion.
Hannah also dealt with an issue we had extremely promptly and positively.
Cons: Check in at 5pm (although we were allowed to check in slightly earlier than this) and check out by 9am. (I appreciate Covid is a factor but 8 hours to prepare a property seems a bit OTT).
It’s a pity the hot tub couldn’t be cleaned on a Saturday so guests don’t lose out on a days use.
Lack of wardrobe space in master bedrooms as previously mentioned.

Great location
We had a great two weeks at this property. Our group was 8 people ranging from 3 to 66. The house was perfect layout for our needs with plenty of space in house and garden for people to spread out.
My only criticism would be the kitchen . Whilst in many ways it was perfectly adequate it could do with a little updating . Some of the knobs in the cooker were tricky .... like the oven one which was sort of twisted so that (as I learnt throughout our time there) if you put it at 60’ it was actually about 200’ and vice versa. We also would have liked about twice the amount of crockery and cutlery than was provided as we kept running out before the dishwasher was full so had to keep washing up.
The dishwasher was not very efficient either.
I struggled with the duvets a bit as the filling seemed to just go into a lump and leave other areas empty. However much I shook them I could not get them to even out so I think some investment there would be worthwhile as good sleeping accommodation is an essential part of a holiday.
That all said the property is lovely overall. I think the abundance of bathrooms was a real bonus !
The playroom full of toys for my grandchildren was a godsend on a couple of dull days and the lovely garden also with toys provided was very nice.
The location was perfect for us. Walking distance to a pub with a child friendly garden. Very close to a great beach with massive car parking facility .
I definitely would book this property again if wanting to holiday in this region again .
Thank you

Wonderful for a family holiday
We loved everything about this property and our holiday in Westward Ho. We were a family group of six adults and three children and everything worked perfectly for us. The house is beautiful, with wonderful views of the sea and beach, Hannah was really helpful and everything that we might need was provided. Would definitely come again.

Fantastic House and really helpful owner!
An absolutely beautiful house, with stunning views across the beach to the sea - I could have stayed there forever.
Hannah was incredibly helpful and we were left lovely goodies for our stay - including gluten free treats, which I really appreciated!
Thank you for a fantastic holiday stay!
