great cozy place, helpful people, amazing surroundings

Friendly staff, great breakfast, cozy room. The WIFI was fast and reliable. We can't wait to be back.

We only stayed one night, but would certaintly return if we go back to Twillingate.

The Mermaid Inn was very clean and cozy. The breakfast was tasty.

We found it a little difficult to find.

Lovely place, great location, nice host but hard beds

Convenient location and a nice home.

The only complaint we have is that the beds were not comfortable and the pillows were very soft and flattened out too quickly.

It was clean and she was very nice and pleasant. Is was a little bit out of the way. The room was musty smelling so bothered my sinus issue. Breakfast was just o.k.

The musty smell in the bedroom. I think the pillows need to be replaced, and the bedspread changed out or washed to get the smell out.

Warm and cozy!

Cozy, comfortable one night stay. Nice breakfast in the morning.

Very warm, a/c was not on arrival and was put in byva buest around 11pm. Nothing within walking distance

2 min walk to the of hill hiking trail Other guests were friendly and host was welcoming

Humidity. Hot in upstairs bedroom. There was a fan in room the province was in midst of heatwave. Tv in room but unable to get access to tv stations. Not a big deal we were not there to watch tv.

Pleasant

This is a small B&B. Close to Twillingate. Quiet area. The owner was nice and prepared a nice breakfast.

The room was tiny. We barely had where to put our suitcases and go around them in the room. The towels were clean but had old brown stains which made us feel uncomfortable. Had to wait long time in the shower for hot water to come.

Excellent service and kindness and welcoming

Breakfast was nourishing and a little different every day with fresh muffins,jam cookies,we were spoiled, thank you Diana.

I thought everything was perfect for me.

A good base to explore the pretty coastline around Twillingate.

Pleasant location and kindly host, lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. Very clean and Diane had gone out of her way to meet dietary needs.

The decor is dated and rather gloomy, giving a slightly claustrophobic feel .

our first B&B and we were very happy with this one!

very quaint old house that was maticulously clean! our room was upstairs..the room was small with a large bathroom but perfect for sleeping. Dianna made us a fabulous home cooked breakfast!

Superb

Diane was a great host and knew was able to accommodate a gluten and dairy free breakfast and provide a gluten free bagel for the road. The B&B was right across the road from the top of Twillingate Trail, was able to hike before bed and the next morning before breakfast.

The breakfast was good. The host was friendly and accommodating.

Rooms were really small - not suitable for 2 people. Bed was good but pillows were terrible and they smelled. You can hear people in other rooms. Not very private and soundproof.

Owners are friendly and very accommodating to their customers' needs.

The hospitality of the owners and breakfast was terrific. It was nice being able to interact with other guests at the B&B.

Room was too small, shower was corner shower, while checking before leaving saw dust balls under bed

Not adequate amts. There was one sausage left for us. No cream for coffee. Scrambled eggs ran out.
