About this cabin rental

This cabin sits on a dead end street with only 3 cabins on it. This makes for a very peaceful and quiet cabin location.

The cabin has room to sleep 4, it has 2 private bedrooms with bathrooms adjoining them, and the master has a private bathroom.
A hot tub sits on the deck. A gas grill is also located on the deck along with a high top table and chairs, rocking Chairs and a slider sofa. The cabin is equipped with WiFi internet. The owners have movies and games are available for guest to use. All bedding, towels and kitchen utensils and appliances are provided.

This is a GREAT place and perfect for our family. it was totally clean and quiet. at night on the deck you could on occasion hear a little beer fueled fun a holler over but next to you, one cabin is owner occupied permy and the other was quiet too. What I mean about its distance is - if you are looking at this place, you know the 'forge, and all things dolly, and the nut busting craziness of Gatlinburg...at night those places are fireworks and screaming. and traffic. when you exit this place onto the dolly parton, you can take that into sevierville or turn left onto veterans and NEVER EVER EVER again take the pigeon forge parkway unless you must go up to gatlinburg, but there is also a back way in. and if you want to goto the cove, you take wears valley and circumvent THAT. sure, allocate 30 minutes for each trip, but its 30 minutes moving, not sitting. If you are doing a boat centric weekend, strike up a parking/launching deal more on the northern side of the lake or off the 92? bridge. or near dandridge. there is a ramp here, but man, its a hard yank up those hills and turns and there is no way I could ever park BY the cabin with it - Im 26ft behind the hitch so turning around is impossible. smaller craft make your own decision. In my opinion, the distance this place is away, is a main selling point...the new food city is open and there is a walmart grocery only nearby so you dont have to deal with that we are already planning the 2025 version of the trip..

We had a wonderful trip!! The cabin location was great! Was very peaceful and quiet! We loved being close to the lake where we were able to kayak. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well! The cabin was well stocked with everything you need and had great communication with the owner. Little Mountain Eatery was close by and was a great place to eat and had a lot of options. Would definitely recommend this cabin!! Thanks!!

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was perfect for the four of us. We were a short drive away from everything we wanted to see, and far enough away from the tourist areas to enjoy nature.We will come again and next time we will be with our fur family member.

Amazing ! Love the cabin, love the location. Cabin is super dog friendly, has everything you and your fur babies will need. Easy drive to Pigeon Forge and all the attractions. Cabin was perfect , clean , kitchen was well stocked. Hot tub was great way to relax . Quiet neighborhood. Will come back again.

We had a wonderful time grilling, hiking, Eating out was about 20 min drive which is close enough for us. The Cabin was fully stocked and very close short hike to Lake and covered bridge. The Hostess was awesome when we had questions they were very pleasant and eager to help us. Highly Recommend this place we really enjoyed the relaxing of being away from all the bustle but close enough short drive to town. Thank You 😊

Had a wonderful time in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but the comfort and convenience of the cabin made it all worthwhile. Got to meet the groundskeeper and housekeeper. Really enjoyed meeting such friendly people amd plan to come back. Thank you.

This was a great location in the woods and a reasonable drive into Sevierville. It was quiet during our stay since mid winter. Host was prompt with communication and everything was very organized.

We originally booked this vacation to just enjoy a weekend by ourselves but we actually changed the purpose from a getaway to our Marriage! The Dog House in the Smokies was perfect for us! We enjoyed the peace & quiet away from the hustle & bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on New Years weekend but close enough to enjoy everything we wanted to. The hospitality and cleanliness were top notch and communication with the owners was too! Highly recommend this place if you want to be close to the attractions but still have a peaceful getaway!

Cabin was beautiful & very quiet, dog friendly, my 2 dogs loved going on vacation with us. Upon arrival check in was easy, cabin was very clean, well equipped, had everything we needed for our 6 night stay, Great communication with the owners. The only thing I would suggest is new mattresses for the beds they seemed to sink in the middle wasn’t very comfortable. Over all it’s a great place to relax & unwind.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dog House. The cabin was in a very quiet, relaxing area. The hot tub was an added bonus and enjoyed sitting in it at night. The house was a just what we wanted.

Our long weekend stay was beyond perfect. This cabin has everything to make you feel at home and comfortable. The owner of the cabin is very reachable and super nice. They have board games, dvds, TVs in both bedrooms, a huge fireplace, and many other amenities. We can not wait to go back!
