Perfect experience from start to finish
Ned and Greta are absolutely wonderful human beings and the accommodation is superb. The rooms are spotless, the bathrooms clean as a whistle. All necessary facilities are provided and the location is perfect. Ned and Greta will walk you through everything to do on the island and in the lagoon and make sure you have an unforgettable experience. Could not recommend enough, would come back here every time.

Unparalleled hospitality in Aitutaki! Strongly recommended :)
Ned and Greta are the most warm and welcoming hosts I've ever encountered in all my travels. I've stayed in far more expensive places with 'sterile' reception and nothing like the warmth I've experienced here. What I'm sharing is just a snippet, I try to make it short but it's hard because there are so many good things! On my 1st day Ned drove me around the island pointing out different places to visit as we were on the way back to the accommodation. He drove me around to find a pushbike that suited my petite size with no luck; most adult bikes were too high and kid bikes were too small. I felt resigned to walk around the island for my stay but Ned said not to worry, he will find something. Along the way, he dropped me at the supermarket and Vodafone shop and waited patiently for me to get supplies and wifi. The next morning, he came with a bike of the perfect size! It rained for quite a good few days after. I had a budget for this trip and worried about paying the $10/day rent for the bike when I couldn't use it, so I asked if I could return the bike to him and get it again a few days later when the forecast was sunny. Ned said no worries and to only pay for the days I'm using it, it's fine to keep it and he trusts me. He even allowed me to keep the bike after I shifted to another place on Aitu. Every morning (except Sun) they clean the common areas and bring new fruit or filtered water, complimentary for the guests. I'm very particular with cleanliness, and I have to say, their standards exceeded mine. It was always fresh and sparkling after their cleaning. Bathmats and handtowels are replaced everyday. The shower curtains were replaced once during my stay. On a rainy day when a few of us were stuck inside, Ned turned on the tv to play DVDs, and they brought a whole sack of coconuts for us! Greta showed us how to husk them for the juice and break them for the flesh.
It can get muggy in the bathrooms after a shower since they use natural ventilation with no aircons (there's a fan in each room), but it didn't bother me too much since I grew up in a very humid and tropical climate myself.

A Must Stay: Value & Hospitality are 100/10. Stay here for a great time!
This is a great budget place to stay in Aitutaki! Ned and Greta do such a great job of welcoming and inviting you to be a part of the culture and friendliness of the Cook Islands. They made our experience a 10/10! Also everyone on the island knows them so it was fun to be able to say that we did. The facilities are clean. There are two shared bathrooms that are well maintained and well kept. There is a giant kitchen with fridge and stove. They have scooters you can rent. The place is very well located but I would recommend transport to be able to explore.
Bring earplugs for roosters (generally good tip for travelling in Cook Islands)

Great hosts, great location, at a price thats hard to beat.
great location, a number of little shops within 100 metres. The takeaway and grocery shop within walking distance is the place to meet the locals. The people are so friendly. Our hosts have scooters and bikes so its all organised for you, the hosts are so awesome.
its hot and there is no air conditioning so the fan in the room is of little comfort, nothing a cold shower didnt fix. The Roosters, but nothing you can do about them, just learn to live with them.
