Overall a very pleasant welcoming hotel. Would stay again.

Cleanliness of rooms and common areas. Friendly knowledgeable employees. Close to other attractions in the area. Nice offering for breakfast and hot fresh cookies 😊

Exceptional staff,property, service

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The place was very clean and modern. Price was also very fair

The restaurant/bat closed to early but it is an off season. We will definitely be back for summer fun.

Won’t return. The hotel was noisy and the staff was not too friendly. There are other options.

It was an available room in the city where we were.

The check in clerk was not at the desk when we arrived, ringing the bell 3 times did not get her attention for several minutes. Once she did come to the desk, she couldn’t find our reservation and was certain we had no reservation because “the room was not available “, when indeed we did have a reservation she was looking it up incorrectly. No apology, no fixing her tone, just carried on like we were fortunate she worked things out.

The coffee was good. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. Nothing to write home about.

The room was extremely dark at night. The bathroom door was heavy, and would always slam shut. When using the restroom at night, the door slammed shut, and the only light to turn on was the extremely bright lights in the restroom. Some sort of night light in there would be helpful.

Great place to stay! A returning guest and would stay again!

The location was close to downtown and within 5 minutes of multiple restaurants and bars when walking. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

No hot tub, but not a reason not to stay.

Enjoyable evening at the Waterfront

Very pleasant evening/overnight at the Waterfront Hotel. We typically stay at other hotels in Prairie du chien but thought we would finally give this one a try. We enjoyed it. Very nice hotel, comfortable bed, breakfast was excellent. Great having the bar/restaurant on site and just down the hall from us. Evening entertainment was fun (I believe on weekends through the summer they have music). Enjoyed our time there. Would have liked another day but had to get back home for other commitments.

Gorgeous, great location

Our room had a towel covered in poop under the bathroom vanity. Stunk up the whole room. I had to personally bag it up and take care of it as they would not. We were not offered a different room, nor did we receive any follow up about the situation. Terrible. They claimed 3 people clean each room. I’m not sure how you miss a poop covered towel that you can smell the second you open the door. We paid a lot of money to stay here, I’m terribly disappointed. I’ve never left a bad review in my whole life until now :(

A little piece of Heaven

Liked that there was a complete breakfast and not just the continental type. Food was good. Loved the cookies and popcorn in the afternoons. The room was clean, comfortable, roomy and well appointed. Also, we loved the bar/restaurant there as there is weekend entertainment, decent food, service and it overlooks the Mississippi River.

Can't really say what was so bad about this hotel. The only thing that was annoying was that I could not keep the bathroom door open. Would always close automatically.

Nice room with a comfortable bed. Complimentary cookies and hot chocolate. The breakfast was wonderful, with really good coffee. The attachment restaurant was also good, and was easily accessed without going outside.

Great, and the leaves were at their peak!

Great location and privately owned place! Super clean and well taken care of! Coffee,cookies,popcorn, apple cider upon arrival in lobby and super friendly staff.

The restaurant was great but the chairs are really uncomfortable and cheap...especially for older people.
