The mansarda is a cute little place very near the Navigli, therefore a great location to be at!

The property is clean, well furnished, spacious for max 2 people and in a great location near Navigli.

Being an attic apartment the heights at times are weird and doorways a tad uncomfortable.

Home away from home

We loved our stay at la mansarda sui Navigli! The check-in was super easy and Cristina was great at communicating and helping us with any questions we had. The place itself is in the perfect location, you have many restaurants and shops near by. There’s even a gelato spot right beside the apartment. It’s close enough to walk to tourist attractions like the Duomo but in an area that is quiet at night for sleeping. I definitely recommend staying here as the apartment felt like home. I wish I had spent more nights here. I’m looking forward to staying again!

It would have been better to have the opportunity to turn the air-conditioning on and off autonomously.

Perfect apartment for a short and long stay

Very easy check-in/out, great area with hundreds of bars and restaurants. Big choice of public transport options. Apartment is equipped in everything that you need. It has separate living room, kitchen and the bedroom + closet.

As the apartment is on the last floor, under a diagonal roof it makes the bathroom less comfortable to use but that's not a big issue.

Superb

location location location! I loved staying in Cristina and Giuseppe's place. Throughout the process they were always responsive and helpful. Meeting them and taking the key was really easy, also communicating with them. I loved the apartment, it had everything I needed, it was spacious, bright, beautiful and comfortable. The location is amazing. in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods in town but still quite enough. very central and just 2 min walk from the metro and supermarkets. tons of restaurants and bars all around and a big market on saturday/sunday. I had a problem with the WIFI and cristina immediately gave me another network to join and it worked really well. nothing bad actually just to point out 2 things, The shower is a little bit on the small side. I didn't mind that. worked perfectly for me It is an attic (as said specifically by the hosts), it is part of the charm of the place

Beautiful apartment in an quiet local area, close to great restaurants and tourist attractions. I loved the little extras in the apartment like chocolate, cookies and tea, bathroom products. The hosts are very welcoming and help you with every question. I had a great time and would recommend it very much.

Lovely location with great restaurants - and great connection to public transportation.

The hosts were so kind and responsive. The apartment is so cute and you have a small church view through the roof window. The area is perfect and the hosts even had adapters for the plugs (I had forgotten that I needed them but luckily there were plenty). I can't say that I was missing anything at all - it was super comfortable.

WiFi could have been better - I needed a hot spot for video calls. (at least in the living room). The bed is also very simple - not uncomfortable but also not very cushiony.

awesome time in Milan

Cool location, a nice apartment, spacious, and very clean. Has all the facilities and also well equipped kitchen. It is very close to a variety of bars and restaurants and the main attraction of the city is within 2.5 km

being an attic apartment if you are taller than 180cm you need to pay attention to some spaces within the apartment do not kick your head from the ceiling, but this is just a remark and not something I didn't like.

Love the quirky attic ceilings and spaces. Pretty much everything you want in an apartment.

Breakfast not included, location was close enough to everything I wanted and in a nice part of town. Gelato bar right next door and a good pub a couple of doors further on and all that before you get to the canal side.

It was all good, though I did 'blood my head' on a sharp ceiling edge - amazing how quickly your instincts cut in and automatically duck your head after that. Some of the more obvious edges could do with some cushioning rubber strips along them.

A carefree stay in Milano

The location is perfect, a street full of people, pizzerias and gelaterias! Although the area is quite busy, after you entered the main door you enter a typical italian courtyard, giving you the feeling you are an Italian yourself! During the night, you hardly hear any noise from the streets, so you can get a good nights rest. The view from the windows is beautiful, especially at night with the church and if you are lucky, the view of a full moon. From the accomodation, the metro is just a few minutes walk away which is perfect for traveling around Milan. The hosts are wonderful and helpful people, answering every question you might have and even arranging an early check-in for my convenience! Truly recommend booking here, thanks again Cristina and Giuseppe!

Cristinas apartment is absolutely perfect to explore the city. Great location, close to amazing restaurants and bars and so easy to get around the rest of the city. The apartment itself is great, it’s got everything you need and would 100% recommend staying here when you visit Milan. I’ll be back :)

Great place for a short trip to Milan. Far enough away from the center that we have peace and quiet and at the same time close enough that a short 15-20 minute walk allows us to reach the Duomo. We also have a metro station right next door, so it's very easy and pleasant to get to any other place.

The place that makes me feels like (almost) home

Everything went well. Easy access from public transportation, and located in a very trendy neighborhood of Milan. Cristina was really sweet and nice, communicating to ensure my stay and experience are smooth and pleasant. The space is extremely clean, and smells really nice.

Not sure if they can do anything about this, but I actually expected this from older building that the water could be problematic. The shower was really weak when I was taking my evening shower, so I had to wait for few minutes until it flowed again.

Lovely marsard roof apartment close to Porta Genova and Navigli

Cristina is a very kind host, ready to assist you any time. The apartment is few meters away from Porta Genova subway station, from the lovely Navigli area and Darsena. It's a lovely marsard roof apartment in a typical "Vecchia Milano" style building. It's very cosy and perfect for one to two people.

Since it's an historical building, the apartment during winter takes long to warm up. As the owner suggests you, you almost all the time have to keep the heaters on. However, turn it the heater during the night off since it's pretty noisy.

It is uncomfortable.

It has enough space and good for a whole family travellers or a group of 4-5 friends.

The consumption of facilities is controlled. You need light at the same time heating equipment. You cannot even warm up some hot water at the same time because the facility can’t be use together. The heating system make strange noise probably it is old. The location is not okay.

Lovely apartment, great location for solo traveller

Host very nice, friendly and helpful. Nice attic apartment, old world style, in a lovely part of the city, by the canal, and with alot of social activity especially in the evenings. Great selection of bars and restaurants. Great atmosphere. Completely safe area.

Apartment a little cold at night even with air con at max. Air con a little noisy when it comes on automatically in the middle of the night. Low ceiling in apartment means you can bang your head sometimes ...and I am.not tall.

Perfectly located

Super well located. The sheets and towels were cotton. Great pillows. It's perfect for a quick trip to Milan.

For me the stay was fine in terms of price and location but it is not suited for two people not sleeping in the same bed. The sofabed is not comfortable. My Italian friend didn't feel welcomed. The host wasn't very warm. Also, the power went off after turning on the heating and when my friend went to knock on the door of the owner, he told him very rudely to look at the house guide. After doing so, my friend couldn't solve the problem on her own because the door to the meter was lock. She had to knock again on the door and ask for help and he was absolutely rude to her. The mattress of the bed is old. It's quasi impossible to maintain steady heat in the house. The bathroom is located in the bedroom so if you are traveling with a friend and on a different sleeping pattern...

Fantastic and I would return

Excellent location of the apartment in the middle of Navigli area, but away from the road so quite silent. No real kitchen but you don't need any because there are great restaurants near by! Beds are comfortable and large. The person handling the keys and checkin/checkout was extremely kind and flexible, making everything smooth and easy.

If you are very tall or large: beware, the doors between the rooms are quite small.
