Good property can do with a refurb.

Nice location and breakfast. Good staff and facilities including a nice summer beer garden cafe and excellent spa and gym.

Rooms and decor is a bit outdated.

Lots to like at Intercontinental!!

Great spa, room was comfortable and breakfast was a good spread. Turkish restaurant buffet was exceptional in taste, variety and value!!! Good central location too. Crew in spa, Asian Cafe, Turkish restaurant and bell hop were friendly and helpful. We will be back. Thanks for a good stay!

Front desk wasn’t as friendly and check in was a little haphazard. Took so long to find my reservation even though I gave them my confirmation number. They also forgot to return my sister’s passport…it was left in photocopier!!

Suppose the better class hotel on almaty . No choice

Location and guest relations Bota. Bota was exceptional and went out of her way to service every requirement

The hotel 5 star with no in house driver with a luxury car . Each time calling taxi does not sit well with a 5 star hotel . Breakfast and food offering was poor .

I am World traveler, but I will Never stay again in that place in Almaty (Intercon)

only the name of InterCon...around the world this property not goof at all

I arrived early in the morning after long tired flight, the staff were not cooperating to check me in earlier even if I will pay for the available room. they were showing their weakness and how much their manager will punch them for any action they will take. so, I decided to take another hotel due to their unfixability until 3PM as they insist it is fixed check in time that they cannot change or amend my booking.

Not good value for money!

Breakfast was OK and so was the location.

Tired, dark and dingy rooms, terrible lighting in the rooms, bathrooms and overall in the whole hotel. Outdated furniture in the lobby with "tacky plastic palm trees". The hotel needs a serious uplift.

Better value for the price elsewhere

Breakfast was ok. The bed was comfortable and the lobby was decorated well. The check in staff was very efficient and friendly. Pool and spa area, although small, were nice.

Amenities in the room were cheap, shower was poorly designed to allow for water to flood the bathroom, room decoration was old & tired looking, no charging ports near the bed, fridge locked and no access to a place to store drinks, bathtub has handles at an awkward location which makes it hard to use. Room service was very expensive. I paid for a 5 star, felt like a 3.
