Hôtel vraiment très agréable

Emplacement idéal, chambre spacieuse et propre, spa très agréable! Bon petit déjeuner, personnel très courtois et à l’écoute!

За такие деньги - не очень. Если бы было на 30-40% дешевле, то было бы ОК

Локация отличная. Старый зеленый город

завтра совсем плохой, на такой ценник не тянет. В целом все старое - сан узел, мебель и тд. Снаружи вечной какой-то шум, то делают что-то, то пилят, то бросают, спать невозможно. КОндиционер можно сказать что не работает.

Excellent first trip to Almaty!

Breakfast was great! Pool, sauna, steam room and hammam -fantastic! We enjoyed massages,as well, with a wide variety offered. Great location and friendly staff!!

New mattresses are needed. Old carpet …spots, uneven, just old. Business center needs a working printer.

Bel hôtel méritant une sérieuse modernisation

Très bel hôtel avec de grandes chambres.La piscine est superbe et agréable.c’est un hôtel de grande qualité et de grand luxe.

Il n’y avait pas de chauffage alors qu’il faisait moins de 13 degrés.on a dû demander un chauffage d’appoint.Les fenêtres sont mal isolées alors que les chambres donnent sur des artères importantes très bruyantes. Enfin la télé ne fonctionnait pas.L’hôtel nous est apparu vieillot.

Below expectation.

The hotel gives a good russian vibe with great carpet flooring and ambience. The location is great within the city and you can almost walk to the church and market.

Since we werent Russian or Kazak, communication with the receptionist was challenging . We were asked to take the stairs however later we did see the lift was working . Rooms are pretty packed up and didnot have basics like kettle or tea/coffe set ,we had to ask for one .The breakfast option is very limited with almost same menu everyday. They ask to pay for drinking water apart from the 4 small bottles they give .

Large room and great breakfast

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Good choice at breakfast- eggs/omelette cooked to order as well as a buffet. Nice pool and spa area. A few blocks into the main centre of town and a large supermarket is a 10min walk. We used Yango App for taxis to/from the airport.

Superb

Really liked this hotel! A converted military building so lots of character but nicely refurbished inside. Nice comfortable decent sized room. Good breakfast options (just ask if you want an omelette etc) Nice location near to bars but in a quiet spot.

Excellent hotel but need more English speaking staff

Very good

The only problem was very few people spoke English. Almaty has become a cosmopolitan city and the needs to have someone on the front desk who speaks English. Aliia was great and very helpful.

Old budget hotel in center with loud name

Good value for money if you want low budget solution. Large bed, comfort temperature. Moderate breakfast it’s eatable ;)

It’s too tired hotel it must be renovated. Very old all equipment in the hotel. if you would like have a lunch or diner the best solution will be not eat in there, look around another place

location is good. lobby was beautifully decorated. room was spacious. breakfast was tasty and included everything even fresh salad and veggies

Check-in was process was delayed. bed was uncomfortable and outdated.

Will never return

Well, the hotel is well located. The air conditioning system was working good in the room. The bottled water was brought to the room every day - this is good. But that's all with the advantages.

This hotel cannot be called 4 star. I would not call it 3 star either. The room is poor and needs renovation as well as the whole hotel. The elevator in the hotel was not working and during the whole day construction works were conducted. I was offered to use the stuff elevator at the arrival - but only for taking the suitcase up. The rest of the days I had to use the stairs - back and forth all the time. The pillows in the room are NOT hypoallergenic and this is a HUGE shame of the hotel, that means, that nobody actually cares of the guests. The breakfast is poor - there is nearly NOTHING to choose, if you do not eat pastry and pork. Only boiled eggs, nothing more. The cheese looked very dangerous to be taken, being constantly dried up. The personnel at the reception desk was not able to assist in booking the special taxi (I needed a minivan), they started to use the same Taxi app, as I also have a possibility to use without them. But most shame is the bathroom! Hairdryer is so old, that it nearly designated in my hands. The shower stand was too loose to be used, I had to hold it in one hand, rather than to use it being fixed on the wall. So all in all I would call this hotel a huge shame and would never return to it.

Could have been better but not awful.

Spacious room. Great Spa. Friendly staff.

Rooms definitely need a refresh (old bathrooms, no italian shower, carpet not sticked to the floor). Had a super noisy room (road).
