Good location.
The neighbors simply were talking and we could hear them as if they were in the room. We also had a wake up call for a room at 4 am that we didn’t set up. Ridiculous. The pillows were shit. Dried blood on the sheets.
4.2
Amazing pool and very clean. Loved the skywalk to get to and from. They ran out of room for parking but the parking garage was so easy to get to and the skywalk made it super quick to get back to and from it.
The only thing I didn’t just like is the bar location being in the lobby only for personal preference since I don’t drink normally it just felt a little awkward walking through the downstairs entrance.
4.2
Close to our activities.
Parking in their garage was an additional charge.
4.2
how it was convenient for wells fargo and how it felt 100% safe

Very convenient location for our plans. We had breakfast someplace else. The staff was friendly, check in and out was quick and easy.
Would have liked more than 2 coffee pods w the coffeemaker.

The location is fantastic. The hotel is gorgeous and almost new. The pool was beautiful and overlooked Des Moines and the whole place has a warm feel.
The pillows weren't great.
4.2
The location was great we were going to the Iowa fair.
We ordered food took over an hour. Wrong drink order it was corrected. Towel in my room was dirty and not enough towels.

The booking said free breakfast and it’s false advertisement

Location and comfort.

It was modern, clean and well maintained! Sky walks to Wells Fargo Arena we’re super convenient.
Parking garage was completely full so we had to park in a ramp that we had to pay for. The hotel staff said when the hotel was built, the parking garage wasn’t built large enough which was odd. Also, we were in the pool and maintenance came in and said that we all needed to get out because they needed to test the water. They then said the chlorine level was too high so the pool was closed indefinitely until the levels were corrected. We weren’t able to enjoy the pool at all before we had to check out and my kids were super bummed.

Great location. Nice facilities. Loved the restaurant and bar area. Easy access to downtown activities.
I asked for housekeeping during our stay, since it was offered and 4 people use a lot of towels. I requested addition towels the first night right away. We only had 3 for 4 people. The towels didn’t come. So the next day I replied to the text message and housekeeping brought towels. They took the trash and asked what else I needed. I got new shampoo and conditioner and soap. I thought they would come back and replenish stuff and take the dirty towels. Nope. That was a bit disappointing. Everything else was good.

The rooms were very clean.
The breakfast was just okay and the floor was sticky on both days.

The location was perfect; seemed to be close to most attractions. We came for our niece's graduation from DMU Med School. We didn't know at the time of booking that the venue was right next door! I appreciated the magnifying mirror in the bathroom and the little market for a quick snack or beverage.
It would be nice to have better lighting (a brighter option) in the bathroom for makeup application.
4.2
Fantastic customer service and the text assistance is great. The upgrade option was phenomenal and the bed and pillows were amazing.
The only negatives were the pricy parking ($25/vehicle) and the towels were very scratchy and stiff. The rooms say they come with robes and slippers but they don’t.
4.2
Very clean
Excellent shower pressure
Parking is $25 extra
Off the beaten path to downtown
Connected to convention center
Starbucks in building was lousy and poor service

The rooms were clean and the location was very good for our event. The restaurant had decent food and a great server.
The check in employee, Sophia, was rude and very unhelpful. I did complain about the treatment I received, but there was no follow up. Would not recommend. The prices were very high and I do not think this was a good value. Extra charge to park, which seems ridiculous for the price of the rooms. The beds were soft and the pillows were extra soft which gave a kink in the neck, had to borrow a firmer pillow from friend. *Just in case that helps someone
I set the room temp as low as possible, but it still felt warm and stuffy.
I would not stay here again.

Great location and all staff members we interacted with were very welcoming.
Parking on site was $25.00, come on, you can do better.

Rooms were nice.
Check in time was 3 pm. we arrived at 3 pm and the room wasn’t ready till 430 pm. Hotel management made more excuses about rooms not being ready. We had to change clothes in a bathroom in the lobby so that we could attend our event on time. Restaurant was not open past 945 pm to order food. Hotel would not reduce price of room due to booking thru a 3rd party.

Location is convenient which is why we were willing to try this hotel for a third year.
I made changes to my registration within the appropriate window and confirmed multiple times only to continue to still have incorrect booking information. This hotel is NOT friendly for teams going to state events at Wells Fargo. For the rate and the expense associated, the experience is miserable. The staff are more worried about policing for "OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGES" than trying to give guests a welcoming experience. There is not a single common space that we could sit and eat take out as a team (when we had the 6pm session and didn't get back until 1030 or after). Even when my son who just won a state championship was trying to eat a fuzzys taco at 11:15 pm (AFTER THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED) while celebrating with our family and team after not eating for several hours and only lightly for multiple days of weigh ins, he was forced to go to our room by himself to eat. Couldn't bring outside drinks in the common area, but the bartender was both incredibly slow and rude and when explained that it was a little hard to not have outside drinks when they couldn't get service at the bar was told it "wasn't his problem." I received a text asking about my stay and gave this feedback and got NO response but then got the same text again the next day which indicates to me that the staff really didn't care at all what we thought about our stay. The price we pay is RIDICULOUS for the experience we receive and our team WILL NOT be back and will certainly share this information with other teams for both wrestling (high school & AAU), and boys and girls basketball. The Wifi was also terrible and so was the restaurant food that we were forced to purchase unless we wanted to hang out in our small rooms by ourselves all night.

The hotel its self was great, but the restaurant was a joke. We waited 40 mins for a pork chop and three tacos, both were very poorly cooked. But the bloody Mary’s were great. Restaurant needs help, big time
The restaurant was horrible
