Beautiful setting with amazing views, very helpful staff, great food and drinks, pool was stunning
Room lacked character, difficult to get a drink whilst around the pool and not enough sun loungers

The place was immaculate and beautiful, and staff made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. Stunning views from the pool. Loved our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Borgo Valley Rita. There were 5 of us traveling and we had 2 apartments and one superior room. We really liked the extra room in the apartments, it had a kitchen and living room combined. The showers in the apartments were much smaller than the superior room. We even cooked dinner twice during our stay. It was nice to have everybody together in one room. The farm was very beautiful especially the pool. It had a beautiful view of the mountains. There were orange and lemon trees right by our rooms. It was very peaceful here to sleep at night. We were greeted by Antonella on our first day, she was very helpful during our stay. Antonella and Guiseppe were very helpful in organizing experiences for us. We did Cheese making at Masserie Amodio, wine tasting at Cantina Pantun, and a trip to Ginosa making homemade pasta and touring the town. All the experiences were wonderful and we met very nice people. They even arrange for a driver to take us to a local featival in Ginosa. The breakfast were delicious. We had fresh cheeses and meats, fruits and juices from their farm. Also there were plenty of homemade breakfast pastries. We also ate at the restaurant 3 times. All the meals were delicious, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Another wonderful feature is for a fee you can have your laundry done which we did, this was a huge help to us. Most towns are within an hour or less drive away. There is plenty to see in this region. I highly recommend Borgo Valle Rita.

Lovely garden, amazing breakfast, great location, nice interior design, friendly staff
I think it could be better if it didn’t advertise as a resort, it would be more charming with less fuzz
room was dark and had no beautiful view! We faced a service building, shower was not very hot and very very small, wifi disconnected a lot

beautiful place indeed. accommodation in peaceful landscape among lemon, orange and olive trees, beautiful property with amazing outdoor pool area. For exploring Basilicata you will definitely need a car, but you can even spent couple of nights just in property. Its so large. Appreciate also renting electro bikes. Rooms are sufficiently large, simple, cosy, spotless with everything what you need for couple of nights stay. Stuff is very friendly willing to help anytime they like their job. Thanks Valle Rita for our beautiful stay
nothing really

Great place with great people.
Definitely will come back.

We loved the pool - amazing view, water had the perfect temperature.
The food in the restaurant was really good.
Our apartment was big and well equipped.
The style of the hotel is very elegant.
Very friendly and helpful staff!
Things that could be improved:
- more variety at breakfast / dinner: everyday there is the same (very good) choice of food, so after two days this could get boring.
- shampoo etc would be nice and is usually offered at hotels of this level
- daily cleaning of the pool-area and the toilets at the pool bar should be considered (some animal-poop was lying around for more than a day)

lovely grounds and great restaurant
breakfast was abit disorganized and the apartments were very old, i could barely fit in the shower. the newer rooms (double rooms) were very good though.

Spacious room. Tennis and table tennis on premises. Swing and slide for kids. Very nice pool. Very good breakfast (we stayed in 5 different hotels, this was only place we got scrambered eggs and everything else was also very tasteful. Dinner was also good, although a bit expensive as you don’t have much other options to go near by. Animals near by although can see them only a bot from quite far.
Room was very cold, host sayd the heating system was broken so it should be temporary. Didn’t like that animals were far and only visible from very far. Not close to anything, had to go by car everywhere. Restoran is quite expensive in this hotel.

Really appropriate for families with kids. Our kids (1 and 3 y) loved it. The appartments, the small playground, the pool, the restaurant.... just great! Our favorite agriturismo so far.

Beautiful property, wonderfully friendly staff and absolutely delicious dinner in the restaurant, lovely pool.
Our little villa was shockingly far from the main complex though, and the road was bad, especially during the rain (we ended up busting a tyre on the holes, however this was special circumstance, as the torrential downpour had washed away the soft top soil)

Super relaxing, breakfast delicious. The staff extremely kind. Michele gave us all the info we needed to reach the most beautiful spots. Tiziana and Gabriele always smiley and helpful at breakfast time.

We have stayed for the 3rd time in Borgo Valle Rita - for us it is THE place to spend your vacation as it is perfectly located to explore parts of Basilicata (only 35 min to Matera!), Calabria and Puglia. The staff is very friendly, rooms are all very spacious and clean with some nice design elements, breakfast was excellent. If you like you can also have lunch and dinner in the restaurant on-site. The pool has a great view surrounded by palms and olive trees. The area surrounding Borgo Valle Rita is huge... Have a walk through the orange plantations, enjoy a picnic under the olive trees or take a bike to explore the whole area. Borgo Valle Rita is the best place to relax and enjoy some days off for single persons, couples and families. Hope we will come back soon.

Beautiful place, designed with good taste and well-kept. Breakfast was delicious and made with good quality products.
Hard to get bored in this place (tenis, bicycle, swiminng pool etc.).

Almost a fairy-tale location between old vineyards and orchards. A perfect choice for those seeking for an escape from big city's hustle. Superb food at the restaurant with a fair share of own. local harvest. Highly recommended choice especially for those travelling with children
This turned to be a small holiday resort instead of a cozy, family-owned agriturismo/farm stay which I was actually expecting but perhaps this was just a matter of my expectations rather than anything else... :-)

Super nice resort, with tasty food (breakfast, lunch, dinner if you want), great swimming pool, bikes and tennis, spacious room with a very comfy bed.
The shower is small en didn’t have much power: otherwise it would be a 10 :-)
