Good location, near characterful heritage buildings, close to the Havelock MRT, food court, cafes, and within walking distance of the Tiong Bahru Plaza MRT also. Room size may seem small to some and it was a little dated but clean, air-conditioned and regularly stocked with toiletries, clean towels and bedding. Website is clear that it’s not purpose built, being converted from two social housing blocks. I found the staff friendly and helpful, they quickly sorted a problem I had getting the television to work.
Link advertises as a boutique hotel, but beyond the lobby area It would be great to see a few traditional objects and updated pictures around the communal areas.
The room design makes the most of limited space, after all this is a conversion not a new build, but this is not a place to stay if you expect western style wardrobes, drawers etc and have a massive suitcase. (I didn’t have a lot of luggage, and managed with the hangers on the wall).
It was disappointing to find the roof top bar was closed very recently, but staying there for a week it’s clear that outside weekends TB is a quiet suburban residential community area, and if you want somewhere more lively it’s not far to pop on the MRT to go to find it.
Likewise if the hotel can no longer offer in-house catering or breakfast, make a point out of information in the rooms suggesting local places to get some for those not familiar with the area. There’s a lovely branch of Toastbox just up the road.

Location is good and 2 minutes walk to MRT (Metro station).
Room is small. There are no facilities in this hotel (i didn't see any facilities). There are no breakfast. The lobby looks nice other than this, it's just a really basic hotel.

room was clean and comfortable. it was cleaned everyday. location was good - close to everything. driveway at the front made it easy for pick-ups and drop-offs from grab.

Fantastic location, close to transport (it was so easy to get around by bus and MRT) and less than 200m walk to an excellent hawker centre (Tiong Bahru) and some great restaurants! Reymond on the front desk was very friendly and helpful, as was everyone else on staff that we encountered.
The bed was much firmer than we are used to (but that may have helped my back 😂) and it seemed a bit short. I am only 165cm and my toes were hanging over the end when sleeping on my stomach but that is probably because of the way I sleep forward on my pillows. It’s probably a standard double bed only. Would have liked a wardrobe to hang clothes. No iron but one was brought up when I asked. Telephone didn’t seem to work, so we had to go down to reception to request anything. Staff forgot to service our room 2 days in a row but quickly rectified this when I asked about it. There was no powerpoint near where the kettle was so we had to place the kettle on a chair. A narrow table here would be a good idea, as would a mirror (the only mirror was in the bathroom and no outlet there for hair dryer). Could do with a powerpoint at each bedside table, not just one. Gym and laundromat were not available - possibly a carry over from the Covid pandemic. Hotel is a little dated but it was generally clean and we would stay here again in a bigger room, perhaps.

Hotel that, at it's price range, gives a guest all that he needs. The location gives you good access to food from morning breakfast to late night supper within walking distance. Hotel staff is friendly and tries hard.
Little bits of tardiness, such as not having a toilet roll. Certain small items, toilet roll holder, has seen better days and needed a change. Television is a tad small, given that in the bigger rooms, guests lying in bed will be a good few meters from the tele.

Staff very friendly and helpful, local area was nice for cafes and also had late night chinese food. No problem with getting taxi. Room was a good size. Housekeeping staff were good. Room was on the main road side but no problems with traffic noise. Air con available and room temperature was comfortable.
Overall aspect was tired, room lacked decor and character. Gym was unavailable during our stay but no other alternatives were offered by the hotel, eg guest pass at local gym. No wardrobe or drawers in the room. Bed was hard although not uncomfortable - this might be a problem for some people. Small bathroom. No soft lighting

The room was extremely clean. The staff was extremely responsive. Really enjoyed my stay there.
The Wifi was extremely bad. My room got 1 or 2 Signals. To do anything productive i had to shift to my mobile phone data.

The location is great
The room was moldy and humid. The water from the shower was cold. Had problems with my credit and debit card and the hotel was very rude stopping me in the middle of the night to not let me in my room if I did not immediately pay.

The hotel's location is convenient.
Room is very small. Almost no service. Was warned on check in there would be a $200 fine if we brought in durians, nice welcome touch. Toilet rolls were tissue thin probably less than 2 ply. Bottled water is tiny. Borrowed an umbrella which was broken.Won't be staying there again bad value for money.
