la ville Singapour est exceptionnelle avec une architecture futuriste et la verdure présente partout

chambre au calme de surface très correcte pour 3 personnes propre avec changement régulier des serviettes de bain ,avec sèche cheveux , brosse à dents possibilité de prendre dans la chambre café et thé personnel disponible emplacement parfait pour visiter Singapour Station métro ROCHOR à 5 mn à pieds quartier commerçant de Bugis accessible à pieds nombreuses boutiques , marchés et restaurants

pour le petit déjeuner il est regrettable de ne pas disposer de jus de fruits frais café et thé parfois pas assez chaud

Disappointing

I have stayed at Village / Far East Hotels on several occasions of the years and found them very good quality and value for money. However, my first time staying at the Village Hotel Albert Court was "disappointing" at best. When compared to the Village Hotel Katong where I had stayed the previous time in Singapore, the rooms were extremely small and cramped. I knew that the hotel was in an older building but I had expected at least a reasonable sized room. It was also showing several signs of wear and tear indicating a general lack of maintenance. The aircon worked well, far too well! It seemed as if the thermostat was not working properly resulting in the room being freezing cold, no matter what temperature was set. The only alternative would have been to turn it off and rely on the ceiling fan. Another new feature was no longer providing bottled water. I am assuming this to be an initiative of the hotel chain, not just the Albert Court hotel. Presumably this is to appear more "environmentally friendly" by not using plastic bottles. But to say that we should use the water straight from the tap because the water in Singapore has been tested to be okay for drinking really isn't acceptable in my opinion. The water then has to pass through all the piping through the (old) hotel building. Has the water been tested at EVERY bathroom faucet to confirm that it is okay? A close look at the taps/faucet in the room I was in showed build up of calcium(?) or other deposits. Basically, not appearing to be very clean. I am from Australia where the supplied water is also certified as fit to drink but I still run any water that I drink through a filter unit first. I think if hotels wish to stop providing water in plastic bottles they should provide a filtered water bottle filling station, at least one on each floor. I will continue to stay at Village / Far East Hotels in the future, but NOT the one at Albert Court.

Nice hotel close to MRT stations a few stops from the city centre

The hotel is situated at short walking distance from Rochor and Little India MRT stations with quick connections to the city centre but is also walkable from Bugis station arriving from the airport. The staff was very helpful. The room and the bathroom were clean and well equipped.

It was not possible to set the AC to a certain temperature, cooling down to 19 °C when running. We managed to sleep without AC but it did get a bit too humid and warm. The staff was not able to fix this for us but it might have been only an issue with our room. A few details looked a bit dated.

Don’t stay there

Location - literally that’s all

It was a horrible stay, the staff was rude and clueless, the rooms had issues like leakages, the Aircon wouldn’t work properly! It spoilt my entire trip, horrible breakfast (like it could actually give you food poisoning) and when I asked for cutlery they gave me disposable cutlery!

Fijn hotel op een goede lokatie

Fijn hotel met grote kamer (wij kregen een upgrade naar een Premium room), weliswaar zonder balkon of terras, maar wel erg stil en een comfortabel bed. Prima lokatie op loopafstand van Rochor MRT station. Ontbijt was ook erg lekker en varieerde de twee dagen dat we er waren.

Singapore is een dure stad en ook dit hotel was niet goedkoop, maar goed, dat weet je vantevoren.

It was comfortable stay and everyone, especially the staff were approachable and welcoming.

Location as it is accessible with transportation and food places. Staff are nice and helpful.

Pillow is too hard and fluffy, I got a stiff neck after.

原本想要體驗新加坡當地建築才選擇此間飯店，但設施過於老舊，而且沒有經過妥善的維護，加上訂房後快靠近住宿日期時才突然通知有一晚因為電力維修沒有冷氣（在氣溫30度的新加坡），且不會提供額外補償，導致我必須更改行程臨時取消該日的房間去訂另一間飯店

飯店離梧槽站很近，交通方便。

飯店設施太過老舊，與照片差異很大，可能是十年前的照片，訂房網站應該監督飯店上傳的照片，降低顧客對於飯店的期待與落差。飯店走廊放了一個類似殺菌燈的機器，快走到房間前聞到不舒服的臭味。

Overpriced and limited in a dated property, location is good and it’s more of a 2 star accommodation with 4 star prices

very worn and weathered hotel with non working escalators, windows in bedrooms that don’t open and very jaded and dated place

Whole place needs a paint and a clean. Staff weren’t much help, breakfast was vastly overpriced.

Good but expensive.

The breakfast was an excellent choice. Staffs were somehow helpful when it came to cabs.

I had no expectations of liking this hotel because it horribly made my wallet rip. Beds were uncomfortable. And the rooms weren't cleaned properly. I had a family of 5, but the room that we had wasn't allowed more than 3. So I had to pay a little extra, which was more than the original price on the website I booked on.

Great stay at a conveniently located place for Indians.

The hotel is very conveniently located close to Little India. It is easily accessible by MRT. The room was spacious and well maintained. The staff were friendly and considerate. They accommodated our request to pack breakfast for us , on the day when we were checking out as we were leaving very early.

The internet was not stable and kept getting disconnected every 10 minutes or so.

This hotel is not flash but it has everything you need and is located a couple of minutes walk from an MRT. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. We enjoyed our stay here and is good value for Singapore.

Bed and pillow were a bit hard.

4 nights in Singapore with 2 kids. Booked family room and asked for an extra bed and Mr Syed went one step better and upgraded us to a quad room for free! Very clean, good amenities, more spacious a than expected and very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and big too! Plenty of towels, pillows, etc. Location was a few minutes walk from plenty of local and Little India MRT which went direct to Harbourfront. Grab was easy to get too. Halal Breakfast was very good with egg station, cakes, toast, cereals, juices, fruits, Sausages, and every day changes between pancakes, French toast, hash browns, and some Indian items. It does get busy after 9.30am though so! The staff were very pleasant and friendly, especially the lady at the front desk and Mr Syed. We had some issues on the first night (electricity stopped working) which took some time to fix in the dark but it got resolved within 10 minutes. Mr Syed became more like a friend after some lovely chats and he hugged me goodbye! If we came to Singapore again, I'd definitely stay here again. Overall, very happy, 10/10!

To be critical with some suggestions. 1) bathroom needs a bidet spray, we really felt this loss. 2) outdoor windows need to be cleaned. They're filthy green with mould. Though we kept curtains closed! 3) fix the escalator going down (though there are lifts). 4) the big one, WiFi was awful. Couldn't stay connected for more than a few minutes, which is crucial these days for tourists.
