L’emplacement et le confort du lit

This hotel is a godsend for anyone who wants to stay in the heart of Ao Nang but also loves nature and sustainability. It's made up of several buildings that blend seamlessly into a tropical forest, home to families of macaques, salamanders, fish, butterflies, small birds, leaf insects, and many other native animals just a stone's throw from your room. Sometimes they even pay you a visit on your balcony!
When I stayed, the hotel was undergoing renovations. The Treetop Café and lobby were closed (and the spa looked a bit neglected), but I was lucky enough to have breakfast for the last few days before it closed for renovations at the 'floating' restaurant. It's an open-air spot overlooking a pond where big catfish swim, lulled by the sound of a waterfall.
The breakfast buffet is abundant and nourishing, with options for vegetarians, Thai cuisine, continental fare, an egg station, salads, and yogurt with a variety of seeds and toppings. They have machines with freshly ground coffee and organic teas.
Above the restaurant, there's a pool overlooking the street, a bar, and a sunbathing area.
The deluxe rooms are decorated in traditional Thai style - spacious, cool, with polished marble floors and handcrafted bamboo and fabric objects. They've got all the comforts you need, from TV to decent Wi-Fi and a fridge with complimentary drinks on arrival. Also kudos for the huge desk (a must if you work online), and a gigantic, ultra-comfortable bed.
The staff and management are incredibly kind and radiate positive energy. I don't understand the reviews that claim otherwise - I think they're more a reflection of some tourists' ignorance and nastiness.
The value for money is incredible if you stay during the low season. I'd recommend staying in buildings 3 and 4, which are the most secluded and quiet.
Unfortunately, it's not the hotel's fault (and I haven't let this issue impact my rating), but from 9:30 PM until 1 AM, you can hear pounding music from a nearby venue that makes it hard to sleep. This is especially true if you're staying in building 11 and the ones nearby, but even the farther buildings are affected (I personally went out to the stairs each night to measure the decibels). This was a big problem for me, and it breaks my heart to see such a peaceful and beautiful place spoiled by someone else's noise. Especially since there's supposed to be a noise curfew after 10 PM.
I'll admit this would negatively influence my decision to return if the problem persists, and I hope my comments in this review will help the managers defend their cause and their business.
I'd also suggest they mention in the description that in low season the resort is undergoing renovations, and some services aren't available.
The pool is only 1.20 meters deep throughout and hot, which makes it difficult to swim. But if you have kids or teenagers, you'll probably appreciate it.
Other than that, it was a fantastic stay, and in my opinion this is one of the most beautiful hotels in Ao Nang, if not the best, in its price range.

restaurant, pool, staff is very good and genuine
the rooms smell, but the room is very good, honestely the humidity in thailand is the issue, perhaps mosquito nets in the room doors

Die Anlage war riesig und sehr schön konstruiert. Pool war in Ordnung und das Zimmer soweit ok. Das Frühstück fanden wir sehr gut. Für jeden was dabei.

The staff were very nice and it was clean, the pool was good and the breakfast area too
Location was ok, not that close to the sea but in an area with lots of shops and restaurants
Our room was large, looking over the road (not noisy though) but was a bit shabby

Schön gelegenes Resort in einem gepflegtem großen Park. Personal war herzlich und zuvorkommend. Zimmer war ruhig, groß und sauber. Wenige Gehminuten zu Restaurants und Strand.
Leicht muffiger Geruch. Klimaanlage und Ventilator laut, was nachts störend sein kann.

The rooms are very dated and not well maintained. The aircon was really loud and leaking. Mattress was very hard.

Hotel with a lot or character as garden is very mature and stunning. Restaurant is open air and looks out over a lot plants, a very tropical setting. Great location at the end / beginning of the Ao Nang beach strip. Rooms are very traditional but have all faculties. All very eco friendly.
Due to humidity the room has a little smell when entering, this disappears for most of it once AC is running. Not unusual for accommodation in this region of the world.

Location was amazing
Very different class of rooms. I wish I had moved to a better room sooner.

Everything was perfect. The hotel itself is very beautiful and green. There are so many plants around and the location of the hitel is very comfortable. You can reach by walk Everything you need. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good 👍
Only the issue is the smell at the room when you are entering. However, after 5 minutes with AC it was OK.

Location is perfect a bit outside of the noise but at walking distance of everything. Breakfast is good and the commune areas are very nice (pool, gardens that make you feel like you are in nature, breakfast area…).
We were really disappointed by the room that seems old, dirty (especially bathroom and shower floor) and with a very strong sewage smell in the bathroom every time we use the sink, shower or toilet. Not exactly what you expect from 4 star hotel. We communicate nicely those issues to the front desk that didn’t seem to be sorry for it and when we came back to the room nothing was fixed. They asked us to change room but the one they show us was dirty as well. Instead of changing room, just cleaning the floor would have been quicker, it took me two minutes with toilet paper and water.

The Bed was terrible and uncomfortable. didn’t understand the need for a platform around the bed. The mattress was rock hard.

Great location of the hotel - very close to all amenities.
Hotel as well as the staff were very nice. Food served in the restaurant was very good as well. We will definitely be back.
Initially there was a musty smell in our room, probably due to room not being used. The shower grouting could do with some extra cleaning. other than that all was great.

Everything was perfect, from checking in, breakfast and service. Pool is amazing.
Perfect location, not far to the main street or night market.

The breakfast was great, wonderful variety of food each day. The staff were very nice and helpful. Having live music in breakfast area was really nice.
The room décor was dated and worn, there was a huge hole in the roof next to your balcony. Pushing two twin mattresses together to make a queen was tacky. The sheets on the bed had bleach marks on them. The soap dispenser in the shower did not work. The pool was green, which means the PH was clearly off. Workout equipment worn out and rusty. A lot of the walkways on the property were cracked and falling apart.

Pakasai resort is beautiful with their environmentally conscious approach. The area inside the resort is like a rainforest with tropical trees, ponds, and animals.
The staff were friendly and very attentive to the guest's needs. The room was spacious with a balcony, the bed was comfortable, toilet size was bigger than most resorts I've been in.
Everything was good.
4.5
Nice swimming pool and good location.
A bit old style resort, but still quality.

Location
Cleanliness was not appropriate for the type of resort they want to be.
Breakfast was average at best.
The resort is too big with high maintenance costs so that is probably the reason for the sloppiness.
