nice clean well located hotel with good facilities
the staff - most of them were unfriendly and unhelpful

We rented the suite and it had a beautiful view of the city. The pool was also very beautiful.
While the room was nice and clean, the bed was a double mattress pushed together to form a queen. This made it challenging for me and my husband to sleep next to one another comfortably given the split in the mattress’s.

I have known the hotel for over 50 years as my family used to go to Montecatini Terme for the Spa facilities and always stay at Croce di Malta.
I had not been to Montecatini for 40 years. The hotel has been well renovated since then.
There is no in hotel parking but you can find some parking in the street with pay and without.
There is no food available after 2130 hrs when dinner service ends
No 24 hour room service (I believe most hotels here are like that but i'm not sure)

Nice room, dog-friendly (also right next door to a big park perfect for walks) great pool & pool fountain. Some very friendly staff.
Quite hard to find anyone to serve you a drink at the pool bar before 5pm or something. -You had to ask reception to find someone for you. It was a bit strange considering it was very hot and the middle of summer! Also a couple of staff were not so friendly.

Big rooms and clean. Nice pool - but not kids-friendly.
Just Got a samunella infection the last day by their eggs for breakfast..
The staff was not very serviceminded. Didn’t know about the big Spa-place until last day. They never told us about it and how it works…

The room was lovely and big and clean
The staff were not very friendly.
There was so atmosphere in the hotel, it was very cold looking.
There were no coffee/tea facilities, iron and the sage didn’t work which was disappointing.

Clean, friendly staff, great restaurant.
May be not italian style hotel, but more nordic or Scandinavian.

Location is great, quiet end of a street and close to a beautiful park. (Third reason why we choose the hotel, other two did not materialize)
A few things are not okey;
- pool (one of three reasons we reserved) is in fact a small pond, you can not swim in water level of 50cm and Booking should be aware of that misinformation.
- SPA non functional, advertised on website and in hotel, but for undisclosed reason closed until further notice. (second reason why we book hotel)
- parking, advertised as available but we were told it’s full (hotel was not at full capacity)
- ongoing building works (I presume for a few months now, means you may be woken by a jackhammer)

Very clean hotel, nice pool with enough sun beds (it was not busy at all), room was great and very clean, bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was only okay (very little option in terms of cooked food, the scrambled eggs seemed a bit raw). Lunch was delicious but pricy as the the portions were so small. Some staff were friendly while others seemed a bit rude (like they hated their job), a pity that the beauty treatments were closed.

Spacious rooms with a great view over the mountains and woods of Montecatini and the pool
Due to corona the breakfast had to be served from the buffet and took very long. The staff was very helpful but it took very long to get breakfast

The manager was very kind to us, helped us excellently.
Unfortunately, due to covid we couldn't use the sauna.

It was a lovely clean hotel with a beautiful pool and nice big rooms perfect for families. We were so glad we found them after our disastrous stay a day before at another place. Perfect area as well right near the park.
The bar fridge was a bit warm in the rooms. It also looked like they were short staffed now and then and there weren’t always swimming towels but other than that all goos

Service and location Bathroom.
breakfast and dinner generally good.
Cleanliness of rooms and chamber maid was spot on .
Head waiter very personable... good english... struggled with less enthusiastic staff
Reception staff generally cold . Stand-offish,
Plastic tumblers... no glasses to drink out of... Poor for a 4 star hotel?
No coffee available at dinner I was advised to go the the bar.
Stayed here over 20 years ago I think it has modernised and lost its 4 star sparkle.
Restaurant now like a mid standard dinner no table cloths etc
Starter and deserts buffet self service only
Bar lounge area to bright cold. no enthusiasm for this are from the Hotel staff`
